GOLF COSTA ADEJE

Golf Costa Adeje was designed by the prestigious golf architect Jose Gancedo, who taking advantage of the natural characteristics of the land, old banana trees, to integrate them into the course. Its fairways in paspalum and the greens in tifEagle are noteworthy, which allows the field to be irrigated with purified water.

The last 9 holes built next to the driving range are a little shorter but more technical. Overlooking the sea and with its 6 lakes, it makes the game more interesting and fun where high handicaps can also enjoy this sport. For the convenience of our clients, it has a clubhouse where you can check in and have a drink after playing.

REAL CLUB DE GOLF TENERIFE

Founded in 1932, it is the second oldest club in Spain and still retains a typically British air of distinction. It is located 600 meters above sea level and has 18 holes of undulating fairways that rise in front of a spectacular view of Mount Teide. The ravines come into play on several holes. The 4 is one of the most difficult and requires a second shot to be on the green, with out of bounds to the left and unevenness to the right. The route is animated by imposing trees that shade, in sections, the path.

The Real Club de Golf de Tenerife was the venue for the Spanish Open International Championship back in 1964, and also hosted the Spanish Professional Doubles Championship in 1984 at its facilities.

During a series of years, players of the stature of Severiano Ballesteros, Manuel Piñero, J.M. Cañizares, Antonio Garrido and Miguel Angel Jimenez. All of them winners of the Tito Abreu Proam, later known as the Taoro Casino Grand Prize. Special mention to our beloved professional and multiple winner of this tournament on several occasions, Tito Abreu.

In total, the Club has a thousand members, many of them foreigners, Germany being the most represented country, followed in order of participation by the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France and Italy.

LOS PALOS GOLF CENTER

The Los Palos Golf Center course, 9 Holes, Par 27, constitutes an authentic garden of lush and colorful vegetation. With practically no slopes and animated by refreshing water hazards such as lakes and streams, it is ideal for starting out in this sport or for improving your short game. Designed by Integral Golf Design, by José María Olazábal, it has a pleasant terrace from which the entire course can be seen.

COSTA ADEJE GOLF COURSE

Fast becoming one of the most popular greens in Tenerife, the beautiful course in Costa Adeje is a must for anybody travelling to the island and looking to try their hand at a spot of golf.

Found on the south side, the Costa Adeje golf course is made up of two areas – the Championship course and Los Lagos. Built using the natural features of the area, the Championship course has been designed to incorporate the gently-rolling hills and old plantation walls, giving it some real character and making it a great place to take in some local culture. There’s a variety of holes and sections to suit all ability levels, so don’t be afraid to get stuck in!

With six lakes and stunning views of the sea and surrounding mountains, the last 9 holes of Los Lagos are shorter. They are a little more technical but also more exciting, which makes them perfect for beginners. We hired a cart and had great fun exploring this beautiful section of green.

There are both 9 and 18 hole courses at Golf Costa Adeje, open to beginners and experience players. Prices are similar to the UK, and range from £33 to £96 in the winter and from £18 to £59 in the summer. You can also rent clubs, trolleys and even buggies, so you won’t need to worry about trying to fit bulky luggage onto a plane. The dress code is the same as the UK, so think tailored shorts and collared shirts, and spiked shoes are banner – so remember to leave yours at home!

When it’s time for a break, the colonial-style clubhouse is the ideal place to grab a spot of lunch while enjoying stunning views of the surrounding area. The clubhouse has a number of spacious terraces, where foodies can tuck in to a selection of dishes from the authentic Spanish restaurant. Both the clubhouse and course are open from 07:00 to 19:00 daily.

Carefully designed to integrate the palm trees, white-sand and natural lakes of the area, it’s a great way for players of all abilities to enjoy a game while admiring the natural beauty of the island. Then there’s Golf Las Americas. Found in the heart of the most important tourist centre on the south of the island, its mix of lakes, rivers and ravines makes for a fun course filled with water obstacles, and perfect for families to enjoy together.
