At what time can we check-in?
The official check-in time is 16:00.
Should you wish to arrive early on your check-in date, please inform us in advance and we will do our best to prepare your residence for you.
Complying with Spanish legislation, all guests aged over 16 must present and register their passport at Reception on arrival. A credit or debit card will be requested as a deposit.
At what time do we need to check-out?
Check-out time is 10:00 on the day of your departure. You may settle your account at Reception on the day before departure. Check that you have all your possessions. If you have used the safe, leave it open. The rest of the resort facilities are at your disposal – including the luggage room, swimming pools, restaurants and bars.
Can I request a late check-out?
Yes – a late check-out is possible for an additional fee and subject to availability. Please request details at check-in.
Is it possible to extend my stay?
Yes – Reception can extend your stay for you, subject to availability.

Our kids’ club for 4–12 year olds, offers an array of fabulous fun games for children – all in a safe and friendly environment. Do you provide pool towels?
Yes – pool towels are available to collect from reception on arrival.
Is there a heated swimming pool?
Our pool is heated in winter (usually November to May).
Is there a lifeguard on duty?
We have a lifeguard on duty 7 days a week during the opening times of our Swimming Pool.
Do you have any restaurants on site?
We have a restaurant onsite catering for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We do not offer room service. Please see our dining page here.
Is there an on-site supermarket?
Sam’s Pantry, our mini-market and bakery, located next to Reception is currently closed. Supermarkets are within walking distance of the resort.
Can I room charge?
Yes. For your ease and convenience, all transactions can be room charged and this is our preferred method of payment.

RESIDENCE INFORMATION
What are the bed configurations and sizes?
One bedroom residences have a king size bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge. Two bedroom residences have a king size bed in the master bedroom, two singles in the second bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge.
Three bedroom residences and villas have a king size bed in the master bedroom, two singles in the each of the other bedrooms and a sofa bed in the lounge.
Are cots and highchairs available?
Travel cots and highchairs (suitable for children up to 2 years old) can be requested free of charge from Reception.
Is there are a charge for damages?
We ask you to assist us in keeping your apartment in good condition and maintaining the standard of the resort accommodation. Please help us by informing Reception if anything is broken, missing or damaged within your apartment. You may be required to pay for any unnecessary damage that is caused during your stay.
Are there ironing facilities in the apartments?
Yes – all apartments have their own iron and ironing board.
Do the apartments have air conditioning?
Yes – all apartments have air conditioning.
Is there a washing machine in the apartment?
Yes – all apartments have a washing machine.
Are pets allowed on the resort?
No – pets are not allowed on the resort.
How is rubbish disposed of?
We encourage you to support Wyndham Green, a Wyndham efficiency and green practice program by recycling your household waste. Colour coded bags are provided in all apartments to separate plastics, paper, cardboard, and general waste, and bags can be deposited at communal recycling points clearly marked at the resort.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is only permitted at designated areas around the resort. Please ask Reception for further information.
Is there a television in the apartments?
Yes – every apartment has satellite television with channels in various languages. You will find an overview of all channels on channel 1.
Is there a room safe in the apartment?
Yes – all apartments are equipped with a safe. Please contact Reception for more information, or if you experience any difficulties.
GETTING AROUND
How far is the beach?
The nearest beaches are in el Medano or la Tejita, a 10 minute drive from the resort. Los Cristianos beach and popular Playa de las Americas are 20 minutes’ drive away.
How far away is the nearest town?
The fishing village of Los Abrigos is 5km from the resort.
Can I hire a car once at the resort?
Certainly, we would be pleased to arrange a delivery of a vehicle of your choice directly to the resort. Please contact Reception for further details.

Good sized bedroom and balcony. Free use of in room safe. Plenty of sun loungers and good clean pool areas, excellent pool towels. International brand alcohol. Wonderful fresh American style pancakes cooked at breakfast. Friendly staff.
Towels in room poor quality for 5* hotel. A La Carte restaurant had set menu, no choice at all though the food we had was good it was served so quickly that it didn’t feel to be a ‘night out’. Although good choice of foods in main dining areas, not all food labelled, food often only luke warm, only tinned fruit at breakfast whereas most 5* provide prepared fresh fruit (admittedly there was a selection you could peel and chop/slice for yourself). Very poor lighting on steps leading down to restaurant area.

Apart-hotel for a relaxing holiday
I must say right away that before you go to this hotel, decide on the purpose of your trip.
If you want a good beach and ocean (not a pool!), then this is not the right option.
The territory of the hotel is a complex of 3-storey apartments, in the middle of the complex there are three small pools with sunbeds. The reception works on average from 10 to 17, so all issues must be resolved strictly at this time. There are two friendly English women at the reception who are always ready to help. But if you don’t know English. or Spanish – it will be difficult to communicate.
The apartments are a hall with a sofa bed, an armchair, a dining area (table and chairs) and a kitchen, a TV with USB and HDMI (only English and Italian channels), a stove, a microwave, a refrigerator, a kettle, a toaster, all the necessary utensils. There is a balcony with table and chairs, clothes dryer. The windows overlooked the road towards the ocean, but there is a huge construction site next to the hotel, which spoiled the impression. If the door to the balcony is open, you can hear the noise from the cars.
There is a bedroom with two single beds, large wardrobe, chest of drawers, toilet + bathroom. I was especially surprised by the staircase to the second floor right in the apartment – to a large private terrace with sun loungers.
Attention – safe, air conditioning (45 euros / week) and internet (15 euros / week) are paid! There are fans.
The apartment is cozy, but the sofa and armchair leave much to be desired, they could have been cleaned.
Gel, shampoo not put, you have to buy your own.
The hotel is quite calm, there are few people by the pool, everyone lives their own lives.
Meals are not provided. There are several cafes and restaurants very close to the hotel, but we were not there, we cooked in the room.
The supermarket is about 10 minutes walk, you can walk along the road past the ocean, it’s nicer. It is harder to go back with purchases and water. The supermarket has everything you need, incl. chilled chicken, beef, pork, minced meat.
The place itself is called Golf del Sur because of the abundance of golf courses.
Apparently for the sake of golf they come here. The area is very windy. There is no beach, there are stones. It looks beautiful, but swimming is almost impossible. There is a ladder into the water with stones, but the waves are almost always gigantic, sometimes even life-threatening. Although if you dare – the water is pure! Therefore, we swam five times at most, the rest of the time we went to a beautiful sandy beach in Las Americas, which is called Las Vistas. At the reception we were given a bus schedule, the bus stop is 3 minutes walk. But for 15 days the bus never came on time! On average, the road to Las Americas took from 20 to 40 minutes. The fare is expensive – with the Bono card 1.35 euros one way, without a card 1.75 euros. The Bono card is sold in souvenir shops and alcohol stores next to supermarkets, it costs 15 euros. You can rent a car, then it will be easier in terms of mobility.
90% of Golf del Sur residents are English. We met Russians only twice in 16 days.
Conclusion: if you want a quiet, measured vacation away from the hustle and bustle, love clean air, hiking, golf and beautiful views of the ocean – you are here.
If you want a good beach, liveliness, nightlife – choose a hotel in Las Americas or at least rent a car for the whole holiday. Personally, I won’t go here again, I still love civilization more 🙂
