the old style character and architecture of La Palma, situated in the north of the
Island “La Palma”, located 1 km from the village of Barlovento, with unbeatable panoramic

Accommodation

Wrapped in a belt of wooden galleries, in traditional Canary Island style, the 40
rooms are spacious and comfortable. They all have a balcony or a terrace, with marvellous
views over the ocean and to the mountains, set in the lush Canary Island Laurel forest.
All rooms are equipped with heating in the winter, telephone, satellite TV, flat
screen televisions, mini-bar, safety deposit box (local charge), complete bathroom
with bath, shower and hair dryer. Double rooms, Single rooms, Junior Suites, Family
Suites, 3 Bungalow suites with a double bed, private Jacuzzi, shower, fireplace and
a terrace.

We have walked and searched a long path to give our restaurant character and personal
style. We offer a wide range A La Carte menu, where you can find an exquisite selection
from international dishes to the traditional Canarian dishes. We have a professional
team who are passionate about the food they create for your culinary pleasure. The
lounge bar has a warm and friendly atmosphere that you can enjoy all day long, with
occaisional live music some weekends, and a Cocktail menu that distils the long experience
of our Barmen. If you want to take a break, you are invited to try one of our home-made
cakes or our Speciality Flambe Bananas and Ice cream, with a cup of coffee, on the
panoramic terrace.

I want to write a review about the hotel, but I want my review to be as objective as possible. Because everyone has different tastes and aspirations.

So, we looked at this hotel for a long time, and there are very few reviews on the Internet about it.

But the photos were so mesmerizing that we booked a tour here.

The hotel is located in the town of Sant’Angelo, a tiny town, but cozy and very calm, as compared to other towns of the island of Ischia, a walk around the town will take about 30 minutes, as it is tiny. Therefore, if you want walking streets, choose the Port of Ischia or Forio.

About the hotel, as it turned out, it has two buildings:

1. The first in the name of La Palma, and it is really located in the center of the town and next to the beach

2. The second is called Il fortino, and it is located, so to speak, at the very beginning of the city, on a hill, go to the beach, climb a rather steep staircase to the hotel, it’s hard, but it also has its own romance)

On the Internet, most of the photos of the La Palma hotel, and we arrive and we are settled in Il Fortino) the pictures in my head do not converge … there was a slight disappointment, when asked why we were not settled in Palma, no one could answer, they just shrugged their shoulders . . .
