February 27, 2019.- BlueBay Hotels, the eleventh Spanish hotel company regarding international presencethe twelfth largest group in terms of hotel rooms , has opened its first hotel in Tenerife, the four-star BlueBay Eden Tenerife, in one of the quietest areas of Puerta de Santa Cruz.
With this new opening, the company now has four hotels in the Canary Islands. The other three are BlueBay Beach Club 4* in Gran Canaria,BlueBay Lanzarote 4* & Bellevue Aquarius 3*, both in Lanzarote.
Jamal Satli Iglesias, the company’s chairman, said: “We’re strengthening our presence in the Canary Islands with this new hotel. The islands are a strategic area for tourism, we already have 3 other hotels herehope to continue growing in the future.”
BlueBay Hotels’ CEO, Ramón Hernández, also added that “the hotel is geared towards all types of travellers who wish to appreciate the warm Tenerife weather, the culturetraditions that have remained unchanged over timeenjoy unique experiences in the destination”.

The complex consists of several buildingsroom types (studios, premium studiosapartments ranging from 36-70m2). In total, 448 beds in 224 fully equipped units equippedsurrounded by 12,000m2 of landscaped gardens.

      Our third hotel in Tenerife: Iberostar Selection Sabila

      I chose this hotel a long time ago because I love new hotels . A few years ago it was opened after overhaul of the entire building and rooms, and even made it for adults only.

      Yes, I understood that the location of the hotel and lack of territory are the biggest disadvantages for us, but still decided to take a chance and try.

      As a result, without having special expectations for the hotel, we received a huge number of pleasant impressions .

      Last year during the Black Friday sale , I booked promotional room of the wellness double category on the hotel website . What it is and what this tariff means, I still do not understand.

      Arriving at hotel around 12.00, at the reception we were immediately told that we had a room of category star prestige and we were taken to their separate reception.

      Reception and seating area for guests of rooms star prestige are located on the 6th floor, access to which is possible only with card from category number star prestige .

      Access includes lounge area with tea, coffee, drinks throughout the day, from 12.00. imported alcohol and snacks are added (sandwiches, salads, cookies, cakes) .

      There is also a sunbathing terrace with sunbeds, awnings and umbrellas, a warm jacuzzi and a small pool with sea water .

      This is the last floor of the hotel and the species open beautiful : on the ocean and mountains, as well as dense concrete development around 🙂

      We arrived in hotel , and us. asked to wait, wearing special bracelets for using the recreation area star prestige . An hour later we were taken to the room and the next vacation began 🙂

      Room is small but smartly zoned (unlike its big brother Iberostar Selection Anthelia).

      Bathroom with 2 washbasins, shower, toilet is located separately .

      In room there are enough comfortable places for clothes and things (except for a large closet in the corridor), there is a good shelf, but there is no table, only 2 chairs.

      Spacious balcony has a swimsuit dryer, table and chairs.

      Bed is installed securely and does not move anywhere 🙂 and it is a very good size. Nice mattress and pillows included.

      Huge TV with USB port, channels and access to Netflix .

      Nice design with interesting colors (I love orange :)). Elements of the system “smart home” 9 were applied1655 with turning on the light, closing the room.

      There is safe , coffee maker Nespresso , mini bar (included in price), welcome bottle of water (replenished daily).

      Cleaning 2 times a day (towels are changed in the evening, including beach towels, which are in the room in a convenient beach bag ). On the second day of our stay at the hotel we found a pleasant compliment from the hotel in the form of a bottle of sparkling wine with fruit, biscuits and a set of marmalade.

      Big minus rooms is terrible views of the nearest monster hotels, apartments, cafe-restaurants and quite noisy road .

      I think that the rooms facing the other way (toward the village of La Caleta) will have a nicer view and be quieter, because there is no noisy road.

      Separate entertainment in the hotel is elevator . To go, you go to the board, where you choose the desired floor , there you see the letter of the elevator that will take you there (A, B, C, D). At elevator has no buttons, only a button for opening and closing the door. Elevator takes you to the floor that you chose earlier on the scoreboard.

      Hotel has no territory , for me it is such a city hotel for lovers of walks, trips around the island, i. e. all those who are will not spend time only in the hotel . The entire territory of the hotel is a building and swimming pool with a bunch of tightly standing sunbeds around. I have no idea how the hotel copes with the number of guests at high season . Already now, in May, places near the only pool were occupied at 7 am))

      About the main pool allocated a zone with sunbeds, umbrellas and awnings for hotel guests vacationing under the system star prestige .

      Well, moving on to food at the hotel , I can safely say that it is at a very good level (tastier and more interesting than in the two previous hotels for sure). We had concept 9 again1654 breakfast-dinner .

      Finally, we have waited for good cooking of dishes from the same set of products as in the previous hotels . And most importantly, pastries for breakfast, desserts for dinner were delicious and interesting, cheers!

      An important point is the very atmosphere of the main restaurant, where everyone tried to dress up and have a festive time. And again for guests vacationing on the system star prestige , a separate area is allocated in the restaurant.

      breakfast has champagne and a huge amount of fresh juices and smoothies . Porridge is delicious, fruits are available, including strawberries, cherries and passion fruit (which was not in other Tenerife hotels). Drinks at dinner are paid, service is fast and not intrusive.

      Hotel is located near the promenade and the beach, access to which is possible through the gate, working on the card from the room.

      The hotel has SPA with sauna and steam room, the cost of using which is 15 euros per person for 2 hours. There is also a good gym .

      Without expecting much, we received a lot of from this hotel , for which we are grateful! It is very nice to see the well-coordinated work of the hotel team and its management !

      Happy to recommend hotel to those who need a good base to explore the island. I also recommend choosing system star prestige thanks to it you can feel the atmosphere of a small boutique hotel inside a huge hotel.

      A little over a year ago I was lucky enough to visit the Canary Islands, and more specifically, the island of Tenerife, which is the largest, most popular and most populous island of the archipelago.

      I have no idea why I didn’t consider this island for travel earlier. When I stumbled upon this option, my jaw just dropped from the landscapes that I can observe there. Of course, a very important factor is the price! But it turned out that this direction is very affordable.

      Long hours of looking at hotel options and everything came together at the Best Jacaranda 4 * hotel, located in Costa Adeje in the south of the island.

      And at the beginning of May we finally arrived on the island.

      The weather immediately made me happy. Of course, it was hot in summer, like here in Ukraine, but within the normal range. There was no stuffiness, thank God also no high humidity)

      In general, the Canaries are suitable for recreation all year round. The average temperature for all sources here in the warm season is +26 °C, and in winter +19 °C.

      Tenerife is the only resort in Europe where you can enjoy the beach all year round.

      But to be honest, we didn’t observe +26 promised in May during the day. Except in the shade) In the afternoon in the sun, oh, how it bakes in the head, so don’t forget the panama hat) But it’s worth going into the shade and everything is fine) The sun bakes just poison during the day, perhaps because the equator is very close. Well, do not forget that we rested on the southern part of the island (where, in principle, everyone rests).

      All the Canary Islands are characterized by a significant difference in weather and climate between north and south. This is especially noticeable near the highest islands, the highest of which is Tenerife (3718 meters). The north is greener than the south, but there is more weather change and precipitation, while the south has sunny and dry weather almost all year round.

      And finally we arrived at the hotel.

      I will say right away that there is very little Russian speech in the hotel! There are mostly travelers from Europe.

      At the reception, we provided our documents, a settlement sheet. The administration does not speak Russian, English is no problem at all. They asked me to make a deposit, if my memory serves me right, 50 euros (I provided a bank card).

      We were given the keys, put on bracelets, were given a hotel card and told how to get to our room.

      To get to our room, we had to take the elevator, go upstairs and go to the other wing.

      Since we did not plan to stay at the hotel all the time, we took only Breakfast and Dinner, which was very convenient, because we could take either lunch or dinner at will.

      When we checked in, we were given food cards)

      The card had to be shown at the entrance to the restaurant (in order to get to the main restaurant, it was necessary to go down to the 0th floor: by elevator or stairs).

      At the entrance to the restaurant – a counter with the administrator, who noted on the card that you had already come and therefore you would not come to eat a second time) alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Checks had to be collected and paid later at the reception (you can when leaving).

      The only time you didn’t have to pay was if you had All Inclusive.

      The first time we paid for drinks by check, and then bought a coupon at the reception. I don’t remember how much it cost per person, but it was very inexpensive. With this coupon, you could no longer pay for drinks and drink sangria and beer, etc., as much as you like))) In general, this is a good offer, find out at the reception.

      The food was very good. We were satisfied. The food is delicious and varied!

      We always found places. The waiters did an excellent job.

      There were evenings when musicians performed (only at the beginning of dinner). It was wonderful!

      BEACH:

      The hotel does not have its own beach.

      Towels were issued for the beach with a deposit of 10 euros. Towels can be changed, of course, for new ones.

      To get to the beach you need to walk 450 meters down the streets with restaurants.

      To be honest, it didn’t feel like we were walking for a long time!

      Municipal beach, clean and so unusual….

      I have never seen such sand in my life!!!!!!

      HOTEL LOCATION:

      The location of the hotel is very good.

      Close to the beach. Shops across the road where you can buy everything, everything, everything.

      There are a lot of restaurants down the road to the beach. And in which direction not to go everywhere beauty, restaurants, shops. In general, it’s not boring at all.

      If you need alcohol, it is sold in supermarkets. Or almost on the beach a few. Either to the left of the hotel at the exit will be a little further. I do not remember the name, but you will see a dinosaur – these are supermarkets)

      In general, the hotel is located in the center.

      We appreciated the location of the hotel when we drove back and picked up other tourists… It’s a terrible hotel and that’s it! Well, there is nothing at all, nowhere to go. And so practically all the tourists we collected lived.

      We even walked on foot to a large shopping center. Everything is within walking distance!

      And late at night we even found a British pub with karaoke. Such establishments are open until two in the morning. We danced and got drunk)

      In general, the hotel, as you already understood, I RECOMMEND DEFINITELY! We were very satisfied! We didn’t have any problems during our holiday.

      ISLAND TRAVEL:

      Back in Ukraine, I booked a car for rent, because we wanted to explore the whole island on our own.

      Upon arrival at the hotel, we found our typewriter, and the next day (as agreed) signed an agreement with the agent and we were given the keys.

      I recommend traveling around the island in this way. It turns out much cheaper than taking excursions, gasoline there is not more expensive than ours. That and in general it all depends on your desire where to go and where to stay for how long. If you are interested, here is my review of the office where we took the machine

      Parking is a problem, by the way, but not because there are few of them, just a lot of people in cars) But we always parked the car, sometimes we had to make a couple of circles around the hotel)

      From significant places by car, we visited Loro Park, Benijo Beach, La Laguna – the cultural capital of Tenerife, we went to the Teide volcano (there we bought tickets on the spot) and just rode and enjoyed.

      We took one excursion for a fee – a trip to another island of La Gomera (by car, unfortunately, no way). But to be honest, the most interesting thing there was the liner on which we swam to another island)))
