    Fantastic theme park!

Fantastic theme park! Loads of great rides! The scenery and theming around the park is fascinating, such a beautiful setting!! The park wasn’t overly busy but we purchased fast track, to try and ensure we made the most of the day. We managed to get on everything, nothing broke down and all the rides were running! Food is average value and plenty of choice! The Halloween event added a lot to the experience! The beginning of the day the queues started to lengthen, midday nothing was more than 30mins and towards the end they also started to lengthen. I also like the fact they’re using reusable cups, which when returned, you have your €1 deposit returned. Park is just a short bus ride, €9 taxi ride or 25/30 min walk from Salou centre.

    Morning at Siam Park

My teenage daughter and I went for the morning. We arrived at 9.30am, got in quickly, bought fast passes, locked up our valuables and went water sliding. We finished at 12. .30pm having done pretty much every slide at least once. As we left we noticed the queues were growing and we were glad we had arrived early and gone for it. Really good fun and worth a trip.

Great for a fun day with young kids

We went with our two children (7 and 2) in August and had so much fun, was a perfect place for a hot day with kids. On a ‘passport’ you buy you get x10 entries to use on a variety of attractions. We did the main House first, which was a fun

    Good experience, park not crowded.

We were there on Sep 6th 2022. At the end of the day, I bought second day tickets. The park was not crowded. There were no long lines. The park is nice, the roller coasters are awesome. Plenty of good restaurant options scattered throughout the park. And the food is nice. My children had a good time. Staff usually friendly and speak English. Good overall experience. I recommend it….
Me and my family are looking forward to coming back in the near future. 👍

But of course there is room for improvements.
Park team, these are for you:
    1. It is still possible to see remainders of the construction phase. Specifically when you look down to the ground while riding Rio Bravo and Cataratas Salvages. Try looking down to your right side during the initial climb (it is possible to see bricks 🧱!). Take care of the DETAILS! Do not wait for people to report it! For these ones: it is not expensive to get fixed! Do not let your guests see bricks from the construction phase, anywhere! NEVER! (It was NOT environmental decoration…).
    2. Shortly before 22:00, we bought Hot Dogs and took seats in Starbucks open area (open! Not inside the store). Between the Hollywood Hot Dogs and the Starbucks. At 22:00, a security staff came while we were eating and told us we could not stay there because they needed to close the area and we should leave that place. Just like that. Do not allow ANY staff speak to guests like that. NEVER. I told him we just needed 5 or 10 minutes to finish eating and then we would be gone. There were a few more families there finishing their hot dogs. If he waited maximum 10 minutes, the place would be empty without his interference. But in case he really really wants the clear the place immediately, his approach must improve (“””Hello , excuse me! I am sorry to disturb you. We will need to close this area in 5 or 10 minutes for cleaning, but there are other areas available for seating, even better than this one. Would you please be willing to help us and when possible take seats in other places at your earliest convenience? “”””). Can you see the difference?
    3. The main entrance road of the park, before the parking lot, has tall grass on the sides and may very well resemble an abandoned area. Mow the lawn, make it ALWAYS clean and tidy ! It is the very first impression of the park! Make it great!! The first spectacle! A place where people want to stop for pictures!
    4. Inside the park: it is possible to see several areas in need for cleaning. Details. Details…. (See attached picture, taken from inside the park, as an example….).

Average visit, nice outing but it needs some improvements

This water park is a nice place to go when you would like a day out. There are many slides for different ages and thrill seekers, and a few large pools to swim in. The lazy river was nice, the current takes you around it without having to swim!

As long as you have pre bought your ticket and have a print out of it, there was no queue and you could walk straight in once they had scanned it. There were no queues for locker or ring hire so walked straight in without any queues.

The food was nice, not a big selection as some of them were closed, maybe due to coming up to end of season but would have liked to have more options. Again it may be due to the season ending, but I found this water park to be unclean, dirty in some areas including in the pool.

    Thought I’d ace it

Amazing! If you want to look clever, but end up looking a right fool, this is the place. The instructor made it look so easy, I was sure I’d ace it in an hour, it was difficult. This was probably the best fun we had all week, only one of us was any good. More fun to watch other people after our hour, sitting with beers. You have to try it.

    Fun…but

We visited the water park on a recent trip to Algeciras.
My two boys had a great time; I have never seen my screen-addicted 11 year old so happy to be away from electronics and running around in the fresh air for such a prolonged period!
The water park is well maintained and the staff friendly and apparently very competent. As the park is fairly small it was easy to access all of the rides and they are a lot of fun.
Entry was good value, and the entry price seems to have been stable for a few years. However, as some other people have noted in their reviews, the park seems set up to make customers part with their money once inside. Queues for rides are not long, but with a deliberately limited number of inflatable rings for each ride, renting a personal float is pretty much essential. Recliners and umbrellas can be rented, but as the alternative would be sitting on concrete in the baking southern Spanish sun, it didn’t really feel like they were optional extras so much as essentials.
It is OK to bring your own food and drink, but the prices are fair if you use the on-site facilities.
All in all, it was a good day out and we will be back, but I was left feeling that a slightly higher up front entry charge with fewer “optional” in-park charges would seem more fair.

    Fun day out

Went to water park on an over cast day still warm enough tho to enjoy the slides, wasn’t very busy which was great as no queues. A little dated could do with an update. But overall a fun day out with plenty of slides.

Good If You’re An F1 Fan

I had a joint ticket with Ferrari Land and PortAventura and came to this park first. There is only a few rides, all of which looked great but had long lines so it’s def worth investing €25 for a Fastpass for all of the rides. We managed to get on only 1 ride as the line was about 30 mins, everything else was well over an hour (and this was just after opening). There interactive journey if the Ferrari is definitely worth a visit if you’re a F1 fan. Souvenir shop was very expensive. Only spent about 1 hour here before going to the other park. Gutted I didn’t get to go on Red Force, should’ve bought the fast pass.

    Awesome time

Having never done anything like this before we visited Jungle Parc today with trepidation; being a combined age of 109 years old (58 and 51).

Went round the practice area with our instructor who showed us how the various clips and carabineer hooks worked. Was a little confusing at first but once you get started it all becomes obvious what’s needed. As beginners we stuck to the easier green route and were glad we had as this was challenging enough and quite physical

All in all had a thoroughly enjoyable time and would definitely return if we visit Santa Ponsa in the future.

At 40 Euros for the pair of us it’s great value for money

    Wasn’t brilliant.

A sunny Tuesday. Did western water park 3 years ago so tried this. The park is bigger possibly but massive space between the rides. Queues were long and rides underwhelming. 5 hours we managed 5 rides without a stop for lunch.

And beware of the black mats for fast pass holders, I picked up the wrong one accidentally and you would have thought I had murdered someone with the grief she gave me.

Family water parks in Spain

Spain

Is there anything better than speeding down a water-slide in a water park in the Spanish sunshine?

Spain is one of the most popular destinations for British families seeking sun, sea and sand. And it’s easy to see why: the Spanish coastline has some of Europe’s most popular beaches, not to mention the best hotels, making it a great place for a relaxing break. But for those who prefer a bit of fun in the sun, Spain has another big draw: water parks.

With some of the most visited aqua parks in Europe, the country should be top of the list for any family that likes an adrenaline boost on their holidays. Here, we bring you a list of the top five aqua parks in Spain.

The Costa Caribe Aquatic Park is the flagship attraction of PortAventura, the most visited theme park in Spain. A great day out for all the family, the park offers a range of different attractions for all ages: you’ll find a pirate playground for the little ones, raging river rapids for the older ones and the highest free fall slide in Europe for the bravest ones. In addition, the park has a variety of relaxing pools and exciting slides to make sure everyone is catered for.

Siam Park is a taste of Thailand in the Atlantic Ocean. A water park with a bit of a difference, the ‘Water Kingdom’ is home to the largest collection of Thai buildings outside Thailand and even features a floating Thai village which offers tranquillity, relaxation and Thai massages. You can expect plenty of great Thai food, too. But R & R isn’t the only focus here: Siam Park is home to the iconic Tower of Power, a 28-metre free-fall drop; as well as Kinnaree, a hair-raising 200m-long ProSlide.

Facilities for younger guests include a children’s game pool and Sea Lion Island.

Spain’s first water park, the aptly-named Aqualandia is one of the largest water parks in the world. While it has plenty of the child-friendly slides and pools you’d expect (including the Lagoon water playground), the park takes thrill-seeking pretty seriously too; its flagship capsule-slide, the nausea-inducing “VertiGO” drops adrenaline-junkies 33 metres (108 ft) in around three seconds – the equivalent of jumping from the top of a 13-storey building. But if that’s not your cup of tea, you can always head over to the Grand Jacuzzi…

An easy day trip from Barcelona, Illa Fantasia is a sprawling outdoor water park featuring more than 22 rides and slides, a wave pool and minigolf courses. Centred around a pirate ship playground, the park caters equally for both adrenaline-junkies and sun-seekers: test your nerves on the rapids, the super toboggan or ‘Torpedo’; or simply relax by the poolside. Aquapark Cerceda in Galicia // pa-community.com

There are more than forty water parks in Spain where you can relax with the whole family. However, visiting water parks is not cheap. For example, a day in the most expensive of the country’s water parks – Aguamar Water Park in Ibiza – will cost 636 euros for a family of four. The closer to the coast there is a water park, the more expensive the tickets are, but there are also such water amusement parks, a visit to which will not hit the family budget much.

“Spain in Russian” publishes a list of the ten most inexpensive water parks in the country, chosen by HomeToGo. When compiling the top-10, not only the price of two adults and two children’s tickets was taken into account, but also the cost of parking and overnight stays in the cities closest to the water parks.

The only water park in the province of Castile-La Mancha, Parque Acuático Playa Park, turned out to be the cheapest in Spain. For one day, the family will spend only 94 euros in it. Aquapark Cerceda is located in Galicia, it will cost a little more – 107 euros for a family of four.

There are four budget water parks in Andalusia: Aquasierra in Cordoba (102 euros), Agua Mágica (114 euros) and Aquopolis in Seville (142 euros), Aquaola in Granada (122 euros). Two water parks in the province of Castile and León – Gran Florida and Isla León – also entered the most inexpensive.
