Travel Destinations With Perfect Weather All Year

Too many people (myself included), the idea of “perfect weather” is not-a-cloud-in-the-sky sunny and 70 – 80 degrees F. Well, there are places on this globe that actually have that weather the majority of the time. Here are 10 beautiful places that have beautiful weather! (all temperatures are Fahrenheit)

Sydney, Australia

When you think of Australia, you might imagine a continent of hot, dry outback. Well, parts of Australia are like that, but along the Southern and Southeastern coasts the weather is simply gorgeous! Sydney lies on the Southeastern coast of Australia. Lows in the Winter usually range around the 40 degree mark, with highs in the 60s. Summers average around 80 degrees but can top off at over 100 degrees. Rain happens any time of year, but Sydney boasts around 104 cloudless days each year.

Sao Paulo, Brazil

Sao Paulo is the largest city in Brazil. Since it has an inland location and sits at a high elevation, the weather here is simply gorgeous! The weather temperatures stay fairly consistent year-round and range in the 80s in the Summer and 70s in the Winter. Rain falls mostly during the Summer months, but is rarely severe.

Malaga, Spain

This gorgeous city lies in the province of Andalusia. During the Winter months, there is an average 6 hours per day of sunshine, even though Winter is the wettest season. Winter lows are in the 50s and highs in the 60s. While in the Summer months, the temperature tops out around 85. Malaga has a rich history and many famous poets and artists have come out of Malaga, including Pablo Picasso.

Canary Islands

The Canary Islands is a popular tourist destination for very good reason. While inland, the weather varies, along the coast it is gorgeous year-round. The temperatures here don’t vary much during the year. In the Summer months, the temperature tops off around 80, while in the Winter, the highs are around 70. It is also dry and sunny throughout most of the year in Tenerife.

Santa Barbara, California, US

Santa Barbara is an incredibly popular tourist destination and one of my personal favorites. It sits on the Central California coast and has gorgeous weather all year long with highs in the 70s during the Summer and 60s during the Winter. Santa Barbara gets around 19 inches of rain per year with most of that falling during the Winter months.

The rain makes the landscapes around Santa Barbara green, lush and beautiful. Santa Barbara has a thriving downtown area that is a shopper’s dream with many specialty and clothing shops. I even found some clothing that used to belong to the singer Cher in a consignment shop there once.

San Diego, California

Another one of my favorite destinations, San Diego sits along the southernmost coast of California, not far from the Mexico border. Summer highs hover around the 80 degree mark while Winter highs are usually 60 to 70 degrees. San Diego also has an average 260 sunny days per year. San Diego is famous for its Gaslamp Quarter, its miles of beaches, surfing, shopping and gorgeous landscape.

Kunming, China

Kunming is located in China’s Yunnan Province, at an altitude of just over 6000 feet. High temperatures are in the 70s during the Summer months and hover in the 60s during the Winter. The evenings can dip below freezing in Winter, however. Most rainfall occurs between the months of June and October. Because the weather is so pleasant year-round, it is known as the “City of Eternal Spring.”

Medellin, Colombia

Because Medellin, Colombia sits in the Tropical Latitudes, it has almost perfect weather year-round. Average highs top out at around 80 degrees throughout the year. Because of it’s tropical location, Medellin does see a lot of rainfall during the year.

But, the reward from all that rain is its lush mountain landscapes. Although the city used to be notorious for being the home of Colombia’s drug cartel, it has managed to rid itself of the violent street gangs and cartel and is now a safe tourist destination.

Lihue, Hawaii

Lihue, located on the island of Kauai, stays at a very temperate 80 degrees year-round. The highest temperature ever recorded in the city was 90 degrees Most rainfall is light and occurs mostly in the Winter months. While it seldom gets heavy storms, the possibility for that is also in the Winter. But, even if you choose to visit in the Summer, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by how moderate the temperature is.

Durban, South Africa

Located on South Africa’s Eastern Coastline, Durban has become a very popular tourist destination because of its beautiful weather and long, gorgeous beaches. In Summer, highs are in the 80s, but it does rain often, which is something to keep in mind when planning your vacation. Luckily, even the Winter months are sunny and warm with highs averaging in the low 70s.

Tenerife weather 2022/2023: an overview

Tenerife’s weather has drawn holidaymakers to its black and golden sand shores for decades.

The promise of warm sunshine with little chance of any rain makes it an attractive option, and when you consider the vast selection of things to do, from the beaches and water sports to hiking and exploring Teide National Park, it’s easy to see why Tenerife is such a hit in both summer and winter.

Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands, which sits in the Atlantic Ocean just over 300 kilometres off the coast of Morocco. As with the other islands in the group, Tenerife’s weather is some of the best in the world with plenty of sunshine: summers are very dry and quite hot, while winters are slightly cooler, with some rain.

Tenerife’s weather, however, is more complex than you might expect: from north to south, sea level to the peak of Mount Teide, conditions can vary greatly within the same day, let alone across the seasons.

Conditions that affect the weather in Tenerife in this part of the Atlantic are governed by gentle trade winds that blow year-round from the northeast, and by the temperature of the Atlantic Ocean surrounding the island.

The trade winds provide a high degree of protection against unsettled weather while the temperature of the water, which varies only by about 4°C all year, prevents the island from becoming too hot in summer or too cold in winter.

Winter often brings snow to the summit © cyclone81 – Fotolia.com

Locally, temperatures are also governed by altitude above sea level. The summit of Mount Teide in the centre of Tenerife is over 3,700 metres (12,000 ft), making it the highest point of any island in the Atlantic Ocean, and Spain’s highest mountain, usually snowcapped in winter.

The air temperature at the summit can be as much as 20°C cooler than at sea level, while cloud and rainfall are also generally greater at higher elevations and, because of the prevailing northeasterly winds, more rain falls on north-facing slopes than in the south of the island.

  • Tenerife’s winter – November to April

Tenerife summer weather – May to October

While the weather in Tenerife may not see any drastic contrast between the seasons, the summer months do enjoy the highest temperatures, both on land and in the sea, as well as the most amount of sunshine.

Days are long, hot, and sunny with barely a drop of rain likely, making it a real winner for those after a holiday close enough to home to avoid a long haul flight but with reliable heat and sunshine to help make any break a big success.

Tenerife’s weather sees temperatures climb from early summer highs of 21°C in May to 25°C by July, peaking at around 26°C in August, although it has been known to be far hotter during the height of summer, especially in the drier south of the island.

Heat and humidity isn’t a huge issue here, with low levels in July, reaching a maximum of moderate in August only. Evenings gradually stay warmer as well, with lows of 14°C in May (you’ll certainly need layers at this time), to the region of 19°C after dusk by August.

The sea too warms up steadily in summer, increasing by roughly a degree per month from 20°C in May to 23°C in August. There’s loads of sunshine to be had with nine hours per day in May, June, and August, while July takes the top spot with no fewer than 10 hours of glorious sunshine per day.

The weather in Tenerife in late summer, September and October, is delightful, as the whole island has benefitted from the warmth of the sun over the previous months.

The sea stays warm until the end of October when temperatures start to decline, days remain hot at around 24°C or 25°C with low heat and humidity, and evenings are pleasant, dropping to 17°C or 18°C.

There’s also plenty of sunshine about with as much as seven hours in October, unlike the UK, which sees only three hours at the same time, although do watch out for the UV, which remains very high in September.

Rainfall is rare and likely to be sharp and isolated if you see any at all. This welcoming weather in Tenerife is what helps make it so popular with those after late summer breaks and even half term holidays.

For those wanting to swim, the weather in Tenerife throws up various options at different times of the year. For shallow, sheltered water, head to the southwest coast where you’ll find plenty of beaches with breakwaters where the sea is at its calmest in summer.

The north of the island is more exposed to the Atlantic with bigger waves, especially in winter, which is when surfers flock to the rougher seas. As for the wind, summer tends to see the strongest breezes, typically coming from the east/northeast.

Tenerife winter weather – November to April

The word ‘winter’ could be misleading: forget icy starts and dark days – Tenerife’s weather in winter is a whole other ball game. Between November and December, the weather in Tenerife is cooling down from summer.

Days sit at 21°C in November, 19°C by December, there’s no heat and humidity, and evenings turn chilly at 15°C and 13°C respectively.

Playa de las Americas beach, Tenerife © Aleksandar Todorovic – Fotolia.com

The sea retains its heat, and is still just warm enough to swim in at 22°C in November, and 20°C by December. There’s a good six hours of sunshine to be had at this time, and only a slight increase in the risk of seeing any rain with December, statistically the wettest month of the year, seeing no more than six days affected in some way by rainfall.

These changes are small and subtle, marking the turn of the season but in no way an end to Tenerife’s holiday weather conditions. Compared to the UK at this time, which sees a whopping one hour of sunshine in December and a high, if you’re lucky, of 8°C, the weather in Tenerife in the early part of winter remains warm with lots of sunshine around.

Moving into the new year, the weather in Tenerife is pretty consistent from January to April, with only marginal shifts in conditions. January and February mark the coolest periods, with days typically reaching 18°C, edging towards 20°C by March and April.

Evenings are fresh at 12°C to 13°C, so do pack extra layers. The sea sits at about 19°C until May, which many find too chilly, so do book a hotel with a heated pool if you want to guarantee comfortable swimming.

The sun gradually offers more of itself as the year moves on, with six hours per day in January increasing to seven in February and March, and eight by April. Just watch out for the UV, which is also on the up from high in February to very high by March and April. A big bonus is the lack of heat and humidity, which makes no appearance at all from January to April.

As with the other Canary Islands, Tenerife’s weather is susceptible to calima winds, which whip up dust and sand from the Sahara, blowing it into the Atlantic and over the islands.

Tenerife can become submerged in a cloud of thick dust with lower visibility, poorer air quality and higher temperatures that can last anywhere from a few hours to a few days. In theory, this can happen at any time of year, but February and March are prone to these storms.

Tenerife weather – summary

Tenerife’s reputation as a fabulous holiday destination is well deserved. Put simply, it’s never too hot or too cold, and it is mostly sunny as well as easy to get to.

While the island welcomes more than a quarter of a million UK holidaymakers every month, Tenerife’s peak season is in winter when thousands of sun-starved Brits, plus other nationalities, head to the island to bask in the reliably warm rays and get a good dose of vitamin D.

There’s a simple way of looking at the difference in Tenerife’s weather across the island throughout the year: for hot, dry conditions, ideal for going to the beach, stick to the bustling resorts of the south.

For rich green landscapes, dense pine and laurel forests, and hiking trails, make for the north; just be aware that typically, it is slightly cooler and cloudier with more chance of seeing some rain.

Ten things to do on Tenerife on a rainy day.

Somebody get the smelling salts, there’s been a mass fainting. Yes, despite what some would have you believe, it does occasionally rain on Tenerife. Sometimes it even monsoons it down. And when it does, it is worth having a plan B alternative to lying on the beach.

These are some ideas of how to keep dry and still have fun when the heavens decide Tenerife needs a soaking.

Go underground

An atmospheric, fascinating and even spooky place to stay dry if it rains is in Europe’s longest volcanic tube, the 17 kilometre long Cueva del Viento near Icod de los Vinos. You don’t explore the whole tunnel, only a short section and although the tunnel might be dry, the information provided by learned guides isn’t. It’s a lot of fun. Giant rats and mutant cockroaches used to scuttle and crawl through these pitch black tubes; I just thought it was worth mentioning that before you descend into Tenerife’s bowels.

Shopping opportunity

Not so long ago tourists visiting the south of Tenerife had to head north for any decent shopping opportunities. The north still has most of the biggest shopping centres but now there are alternatives in the south like Gran Sur and super stylish Plaza del Duque in Costa Adeje, or the Safari Centre in Playa de las Américas. Designer fashion shops include familiar British High Street names as well as lesser known Spanish ones, whilst Canarian supermarket chains are generally the best places in resort areas to pick up local products (cheese, honeys, wine, mojo sauces etc.) without paying inflated tourist prices.

City tour

There are few things more sorry looking than a beach resort on a rainy day. Cities, on the other hand, can handle rain. Some even look more atmospheric when damp and the neon lights from shops add colour to puddles. What they definitely do offer is lots of escape routes from drizzle – whether that’s shops, restaurants, galleries and museums, interesting buildings or even watching the world go by from inside a tram. The Tranvia links Santa Cruz and La Laguna, two Tenerife cities worth exploring whatever the weather is doing.

Want to know more about Tenerife’s cities? Read our articles on Santa Cruz and La Laguna.

Dive under the waves

It might seem irrational, considering the end result is going to be the same, but I’m not keen on the idea of slipping into a rubber suit and slipping below the waves in the rain. Stepping into a mini yellow submarine and diving beneath the sea is a completely different prospect. It’s a wonderful world down there whatever is happening up above the waves. Submarine safaris sail from San Miguel Marina in the south of Tenerife and cost from around €42 for adults.

Soak in a spa

A good way to get rid of poor weather blues is to indulge in a bit of pampering and splash out on a spa visit – jacuzzis, saunas, Turkish baths and ice temples in luxurious surroundings await weary bodies (usually in the grounds of one of the island’s luxury hotels). In the Oriental Spa Garden of the Hotel Botanico in Puerto de la Cruz it’s possible to travel around the world wrapped in only a towel as they have skin revitalising rituals from the Far East, North Africa, Polynesia and Japan.

Take a tapas tour

If the timing is right, the rain will fall to coincide with one of the rutas de tapas that are held in various areas across the island throughout the year. In some places there can be 30+ restaurants participating, all offering a tapa and a drink (beer, wine, water) for €2.50 to €3. You get a passport, park yourself at one of the restaurants, eat a specially created tapa, drink, have your passport stamped and move on. After a few vinos who cares if it’s raining or even snowing? If there’s no ruta de tapas, make your own. Puerto de la Cruz is best for a diverse choice of tapas restaurants.

Here are some popular tapas dishes to look out for on Tenerife.

Visit a bodega

Use the excuse of not wanting to get wet outside by getting soaked inside and discover the best of Tenerife’s wines. There are lots of bodegas in the Tenerife hills, some you can arrange a visit (Monje in El Sauzal, CHP in Candelaria) whereas others are small scale producers. At the Casa del Vino, also El Sauzal, you can taste a selection of the island’s wines, visit the small museum and have tapas overlooking the Atlantic.

Learn about Tenerife

There are some wonderful museums on Tenerife that cover art, history, military movements, the land and even the stars. Most fun are the Museum of Science and the Cosmos in La Laguna, where many of the exhibits are interactive, and the Museum of Man and Nature in Santa Cruz where you can see real… err… dead mummies.

Go to the Cinema

Choose carefully with this one. Pop in to see the latest blockbuster at La Villa multi-cine in La Orotava and you’ll be wondering why Tom Cruise sounds like a Mexican bandit. Most cinemas show movies in Spanish. Gran Sur in Costa Adeje screens a couple of mainstream films in their original language whereas TEA in Santa Cruz does the same with more ‘critically acclaimed’ movies.

Find the sun

Those who claim it never rains in the south of Tenerife might be prone to memory erasing moments but what is more accurate is that often when it’s raining somewhere on Tenerife, it’s sunny somewhere else on the island. One of the most dependable spots for sunshine most days of the year is Teide National Park.

Climbing through grey and gloomy clouds into the most intense blue skies is not only an escape from the rain, it’s also one of those unbelievable travel moments that never, ever loses its power to wow.

Here are ten more ideas of things to do on Tenerife.

7 Things You Should Know About The Weather in Playa del Carmen

Understandably,  just before any traveler embarks on their trip the last thing they do is check the weather in Playa del Carmen.

Weather forecasts are one of Google’s most popular searches, however, the results are definitely more accurate in some parts of the world than others.

When booking any tropical vacation you pray that the weather will be good because for many people it makes or breaks the vacation.

While that is almost guaranteed to some extent here in Playa del Carmen, it’s always good to brush up on the facts before visiting so you can plan ahead.

Rest assured that when you come to Playa del Carmen or the Riviera Maya you’ll have your fair share of sun, ocean breeze, tropical heat, and perhaps the occasional shower.

The average figure for this region of Mexico is 300 days of glorious sunshine a year!

Not bad. 😉

That’s why depending on your personal preferences, there may be better times to book your vacation than others.

Because of the Caribbean’s global positioning, the weather here is subject to change very quickly that’s why we feel there are some things you need to know about the weather in Playa del Carmen to help you plan your next trip more efficiently.

1. The Weather in Playa del Carmen is VERY Hot and Humid.

The tropical Caribbean is a highly popular vacation destination because of the warm balmy temperatures that are apparent all year around.

Be sure to bring ample amounts of sunscreen, you’re going to need it!

Generally, the year is divided up into two seasons. Rainy season (October to April), and dry season (May to October).

However, the highest temperatures often occur anywhere between March or April until October.

The months with the most rainfall are usually September and October with cooler temperatures becoming more noticeable particularly in the morning and evenings around that time.

However, in recent years it’s becoming harder and harder to define the new normal, particularly in the Caribbean.

Many researchers believe that this is largely due to global warming.

Average Low and High Temperatures in Playa del Carmen per Month (in Fahrenheit):
  • January – 61/82
  • February – 62/86
  • March – 64/88
  • April – 66/89
  • May – 71/93
  • June – 73/90
  • July – 72/90
  • August – 72/90
  • September – 70/89
  • October – 68/88
  • November – 64/84
  • December – 64/84

The monthly rainfall is less than 2 inches per month except during the month of May through to October where it can be anywhere between 6-8 inches.

Playa del Carmen is almost always humid, this makes it feel even hotter than it already is particularly from March/April through September/October.

Remember to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water each day, particularly if you have had a heavy night drinking.

2. When it Rains it Pours

Yes, a ‘shower’ in Playa del Carmen usually does mean a heavy downpour.

Fear not!

When the dramatic skies appear and gloomy clouds hang over our beautiful shorelines, 9 times out of 10 it is extremely fleeting.

Due to the favorable winds in this region, a storm usually passes by as quickly as it arrives.

If the forecast predicts it’s going to be raining the entire time during your vacation, do not be fooled, it will likely return to glorious sunshine very quickly after a shower.

Which mean that you can quickly get back to topping your tan up.

Rain are seaweed are the least desirable elements for a beach vacation.

However, mother nature is a force to be reckoned with and we can’t control it. What we can control is the quality of your vacation regardless of these factors.

The truth is, however, no matter what time of year you come it’s always possible that you have a bad beach day (or two or three).

Luckily, Playa del Carmen is home to an array of other fascinating eco-systems that you can enjoy come rain or sun!

These include the jungle, and the wondrous underground cenotes unique to this part of the world.

On a rainy day our top recommendations would be:

1. Selvatica

Tripadvisor’s number 1 outdoor activity is an adventure that can be enjoyed whenever the weather.

In my experience, I would argue that it is even more enjoyable in the rain!

Why?

What’s more fun than gripping and ripping it with a kickass Polaris ATV?

Racing in the rain, that’s what!

Prepare to get down and dirty because when it rains here in Playa del Carmen that’s not enough to stop us!

When you’re behind the wheel of an exhilarating Polaris ATV it makes the experience even more memorable.

These state-of-the-art vehicles were specifically designed for this terrain!

Petrol heads should rejoice at the sight of rain but we bet you’ve never experienced suspension this good.

Selvatica is encapsulated by wild jungle, so sling some mud, let loose, you’re on vacation after all!

The Mayan jungle was made for this!

Not only is the rain the perfect antidote to the hot sticky weather, you can enjoy the way it feels on your skin as you fly like a bird down the parks 10 circuit zip lines.

Forget your conventional ziplines Selvatica boasts some of the most thrilling and innovative engineering designs in the world.

At the attraction, you get to enjoy not 1 but 5 types of zip line!

These include:

  1. Tarzania – AKA the human rollercoaster.

2. Visit a Wellness Spa / Get a Massage

When on vacation you should be relaxing and enjoying life as much as possible and the rain shouldn’t interfere with this.

Bric Spa is a favorite of both locals and tourists for a reason.

All their products are 100% natural.

They use ingredients from their very own garden that have been infused with aromatic oils.

Therapists here also use ancient techniques straight from Mayan culture, resulting in a totally unique massage menu.

Try a Mayan herbal massage,  Shirodhara head massage or work out all those stubborn knots with a traditional deep tissue massage.

Location – Calle 28 & 10 Avenue

3.

Go See a Movie

A child-friendly option would be to go and see a movie.

Believe it or not, most movies screened in Mexico are in their original version and subtitled.

Sometimes there is nothing better than getting cozy in the cinema with all your favorite munchie and watching a great film.

The chances are that by the time it’s finished the rain will be gone! Win, win.

There are plenty of films to watch in either of the two movie theatres found in Playa del Carmen: Cinemex in Centro Maya, or Cinepolis in Plaza las Americas.

The options are endless, so think outside the box, do your homework, and embrace the rain!

4. Come Armed With Mosquito Repellent.

Nobody enjoys being bitten by these pesky insects.

The effects are extremely irritable and very annoying.

Thankfully, there are some very effective means to avoid and prevent them from coming into contact with your skin.

Prevention is the best medicine when it comes to deterring these blood-sucking vermin.

During the rainy season in Playa del Carmen, you will find that there are much more mosquitos than normal.

You will particularly notice this if your hotel is surrounded by lush tropical jungle.

In downtown Playa del Carmen, they are apparent, but not as much.

Here are our top tips to avoid being bitten:

  • Always wear insect repellent, when you’re out. Especially during dawn and dusk,  and reapply after leaving the water.

If you plan on visiting a cenote or want to go snorkeling amongst coral reefs it’s absolutely paramount that you choose a BIODEGRADABLE repellent.

The chemicals in normal repellent cause irreversible damage to the rock formations and coral reefs, not only that, but they can have ghastly effects on the marine life that live there.

As you can imagine millions of people visit Playa del Carmen every year, with so many bodies in the water over time, you can understand why this is of huge importance.

We urge you to be more eco-friendly if you care about sustaining the beautiful marine life in this area of the world.

  • Wear light colors, mosquitos have been known to be more attracted to darker colored clothing.
  • Wear pants and long-sleeve shirts when possible. Obviously, it is very hot here in Mexico so that may not be the most appealing option but mosquitos are known to target areas such as the ankles and arms.

5. Hurricanes

A natural disaster that people all over the world dread.

Yes, of course, because of the tropical conditions in this area of the world hurricanes are possible, but they are not likely.

Another reassurance is that these days hurricanes are much more foreseeable and the advancements in technology mean that we can prevent the devastating effects much better.

Hurricane season runs from June to November for the Atlantic/Caribbean regions.

Weather patterns before and after this time hinder the development of any serious tropical storms.

We are lucky enough to live in a time where meteorologists can forecast the development of a tropical storm.

They do this by studying its growth and trajectory.

This gives time for local warnings to be issued and protection tactics to be implemented to minimize the damage.

The last time a serious hurricane happened in this region was 10 years ago.

If you are planning to travel during hurricane season and you are a little worried just keep an eye on the National Hurricane Center‘s weather updates.

You should always purchase travel insurance but ESPECIALLY during these times as you can change your flight dates without being penalized.

Many hotels and establishments are protected with hurricane shutters and you can rest assured that the authorities and embassies will do whatever they can to ensure your safety.

Hurricane season shouldn’t be a deterrent to your travels it is just like choosing to visit at any other time of year, you will always be protected from the dangers of bad weather if you need shelter.

6. High Season in Playa del Carmen

When coming to Playa del Carmen we should note there are times of the year when it is much much busier than other.

However, due to the popularity of this city, the gap between low and high season is gradually plateauing.

That said prices do differ greatly for hotel room rates and even for some tours during the low and high seasons.

So, you may want to keep this mind before booking.

  • High season: March/April, July/August and Christmas/New Year’s
  • Shoulder season: January, February, May, June
  • Low season: September, October

7. The Best Time to Visit Playa del Carmen

With a better understanding of the weather here in Playa del Carmen, you’re probably now wondering when the best time to visit is?

The truth?

All year round is a great time to travel to Playa del Carmen.

In today’s current global climate it’s virtually impossible to predict the weather.

The only thing we are certain of is that the climate is warm and balmy all year around.

However, if you really do want to avoid rain as much as possible avoid traveling between the months of September and October as you are likely to encounter more bad weather than normal.

Although we did note that the cooler months of November and March can sometimes see a drop in temperature, we should note that the climate will still be more than satisfactory. It’s just that gray skies and rain may occur on some of the days.

We hope you feel more informed on what to expect when you visit Playa del Carmen. Paradise awaits you!

The tropical storm forces to suspend acts and classes

The Canary Islands activated last night at 00:00 the maximum alert for the danger of flooding as a result of the foreseeable effects on the Canary Islands of Cyclone Ten, which late yesterday had already become Tropical Storm Hermine, as announced by the Hurricane Center of Miami. Immediately, all events scheduled for the weekend were suspended, as well as classes on Monday, and recommendations were made for citizens to comply with to avoid greater evils. A cyclone becomes a tropical storm when the winds intensify.

The president of Canary Islands Government, Angel Victor Torres, held an emergency meeting yesterday with those responsible for the island councils in order to coordinate the actions. Although Torres announced that, in view of the latest predictive models, the core of the phenomenon seems a priori unlikely to arrive directly or to stop on the Islands, that does not mean that significant rainfall will not occur

The tropical storm forces to suspend acts and classes

By the way, the president stressed that “it is possible that we are facing the most important of the last decade, according to what the technicians tell us”, while insisting that the Government had declared the maximum alert for rain, wind, storms and pluvial flooding in all the islands. In this sense, Torres explained that the foreseeable thing is that the tropical storm will begin to approach the Canary Islands through the western islands, reach greater intensity from noon today, Saturday, and that its peak will occur between Sunday and Monday. The rain will affect the entire Archipelago, but greater intensity is expected in La Gomera, El Hierro, La Palma, Tenerife and Gran Canaria.

Given this circumstance, the regional Executive proceeded yesterday to activate the Canary Islands Specific Emergency Plan for Risks of Adverse Meteorological Phenomena (Pefma). The level of alert according to the forecasts provided yesterday by the regional Executive is maximum in terms of the risk of flooding. In a pyramidal, chain reaction, the emergency plans were launched by the councils of Tenerife, La Palma, La Gomera, El Hierro and Gran Canaria, as well as the municipal plans.

In view of the predictive models, it is expected that the conditions are conducive to the development of what is called a tropical depression, which would initially affect, starting today, Saturday, the western area (southwest) of the autonomous community, spreading throughout the weekend to the rest of the Archipelago.

From the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), its delegate in the Canary Islands, David Suárez, explained that the most probable evolution points to the cyclone being located to the southwest of the Canary Islands between tomorrow, Sunday, and Monday, emphasizing that the Islands they will receive an indirect impact, so he considered that special attention should be paid to rainfall and associated storms.

The tropical storm forces to suspend acts and classes

The forecast is that there will be widespread rainfall, many of them in the form of showers, although it is not ruled out that they could be locally strong and even very strong. In fact, the magnitudes that the Aemet shuffles suggest that it could be around 100 liters per square meter in 24 hours. As for the wind, it will have a certain intensity, reaching over 70 kilometers per hour.

The truth is that the consequences of the arrival of this tropical storm to the Archipelago have not been long in coming. Thus, the Ministry of Education has decreed the suspension of classes this Monday, while the opening ceremony of the 2022-2023 academic year that was scheduled to be held in the University of La Laguna (ULL), also announced for Monday, has been definitively cancelled.

Auditorio de Tenerife, a body dependent on the Cabildo de Tenerife, suspends the second Fimucité concert and also the open-air dance show Cossoc. As for Tenerife Espacio de las Artes (TEA), the celebration of the workshop that was going to be given by the artists Álvaro Urbano and Petrit Halilaj, as well as the screening of the film La traición de Huda, by Hany Abu-Assad, is cancelled.

The City Council of Santa Cruz de Tenerife reported that it had proceeded to mobilize all its troops in the face of the possible Adverse Meteorological Phenomenon (FMA) and, as immediate measures, had proceeded to clean scuppers and sewers, to review tanks and facilities, as well as the beds of the ravines. Likewise, from the Social Action area temporary accommodation has been offered to homeless people, prioritizing the cases of those who live on the banks or beds of the ravines. In this sense, 20 new beds have already been set up in the Municipal Shelter Center, known as the Shelter. As for the calendar of events, Mobility Week, Neighbor’s Day in Ofra and the Southwest District Party are suspended.

The tropical storm forces to suspend acts and classes

In the municipality of La Laguna, preventive measures have also been articulated and, as regards recreational activities, those planned in Heraclio Sánchez street, within the framework of the European Mobility Week, are suspended; the Inclusive Folklore Festival and dynamization activities for the elderly. As far as the City Council of El Rosario is concerned, the Canarian Equestrian Resistance Championship is canceled

In La Orotava, the Beer Festival (Beer Festival) is suspended, as well as the Diversaldo Fair, while in the municipality of Tacoronte the acts of the Octave of Christ, which are moved to next weekend, suffer the same fate. By the way, the mayor explained that the postponement of the Eighth and all the planned events, such as the Dance Festival, the II Aquathlon, the night procession and the fireworks, while on Sunday it will affect the traditional craft fair , the liturgy and subsequent procession of the Cristo de Los Dolores.

In the south of the island, in Granadilla, the procession and fireworks scheduled for this Saturday are suspended, on the occasion of the Patron Saint’s Day, as well as the XV Barquera Pilgrimage that was to be held tomorrow, Sunday. In Arona, the music band concert scheduled for today and tomorrow, Sunday, the Triathlon and Aquatlon Inverted Spring Hotels is cancelled.

In Adeje, the Black Sound Costa Adeje concerts, a black music festival, are not being held, while in Guía de Isora the Sacred Music Festival scheduled for Sunday is on hold.

  • The Aemet sees it probable that in points of the western islands and Gran Canaria up to 150 liters per square meter will be registered in 12 hours. No windstorm or maritime storm is expected, but strong or very strong gusts from the south are.

Tenerife – features of the region and buying property

The hospitable island is known throughout the world. It is famous primarily for the variety of recreational opportunities gathered in a small picturesque area. Here you can even change the climate – just move from south to north or vice versa. It is not surprising that many people are attracted to Tenerife real estate. ..

About geography, climate and tourism

Tenerife is the largest and most famous island of the Canary archipelago among Russian-speaking vacationers. Despite its relatively small size – just over 2000 sq. km, the nature here is very diverse. The Teide volcano rises above the island, covered with a snow cap, pine forests stretch at its foot, and golden beaches stretch along the coast. In the south, they are warmed by the hot sun twelve months a year. The north amazes with lush vegetation.

The volcanic ridge divides Tenerife into two parts – northern and southern. In the first, the climate is cooler and damper. Rain is not uncommon here, as is unexpected impenetrable fog. True, in an hour it can just as suddenly be replaced by a bright sun. So the weather, although unpredictable, is still pleasant. In the south it is always dry and sunny. There are only a few cloudy days throughout the year. No wonder Tenerife is called the Island of Eternal Spring. Throughout the year, on average, the weather is warm and sunny. The temperature ranges from 20 to 26 °C in winter and from 23 to 29°C in summer. So you can safely come here without looking at the calendar.

The pleasant climate, coupled with the low cost of living, attracts not only residents of continental Spain, but also many foreigners to the island. Tourism began to develop here in the 19th century and today forms the basis of the region’s economy. About 4 million tourists visit Tenerife every year. Moreover, many Europeans over the age of 40 willingly change their well-equipped life in a noisy metropolis for a measured life in a pleasant subtropical climate.

This, in turn, provides a constant overseas demand for local real estate. Especially popular is the south of the island in the area of the famous Playa de las Americas. Although it all depends on the personal preferences of the buyer …

About the main resorts of Tenerife

The island is divided into two parts not only climatically, but also according to “specialization”. In the south of Tenerife, a real paradise for lovers of chocolate tan and non-stop entertainment. The north is perfect for those who prefer a quiet, calm, cultural in every sense of the word vacation in cool weather to noisy parties.

However, the distances here are so small that you can enjoy the charms of the north and south in the same vacation: it takes only a few hours to go around the island.

Playa de las Americas is the largest and most popular resort on the island. Excellent infrastructure, sandy beaches with many water activities, an abundance of clubs and discos for every taste have made it a real tourist Mecca. Young people from all over the world love to live and relax here.

No less developed, but quieter “family” Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje are located in the neighborhood. The latter was until recently part of the Playa de las Americas. But today it has turned into an independent resort, which is ideal for families with children and is considered the best in the Canaries in this regard. The water in the bay here is always quiet and calm. There is no noisy nightlife, but there is a water park and many opportunities for hiking. The three main local beaches not only provide a full range of services, but are also awarded the Blue Flag. Of the minuses – only prices that are higher than those of neighbors. But Los Cristianos is highly appreciated by older tourists for its unusual silence and tranquility for the south. In this city, it is pleasant to stroll along the winding streets, sit down to relax and drink wine in one of the restaurants, or maybe visit the Teide National Reserve to admire outlandish plants.

The secluded resorts of the south include Costa del Silencio, whose name speaks for itself – in translation it means “Coast of Silence”, and El Medano with its long sandy beaches, winds and waves. Thanks to the latter, the region is very popular among surfers.

In the cooler and more picturesque north of Tenerife, Puerto de la Cruz reigns. The oldest and one of the most sedate resorts of the island. It immediately attracts attention due to not only lush vegetation, which in the south can only dream of, or an unusually modest number of hotels, but also a special character. In Puerto de la Cruz, despite the abundance of tourists, life remains unhurried, and the tourism industry itself is somehow homely friendly. The feeling is as if you did not come to the resort, but to visit relatives who are very glad to see you.

Here, in the suburbs, is the famous Loro Parque, or Parrot Park – at the same time a zoo, a botanical garden, a dolphinarium and an oceanarium. One of the main attractions of the Canary Islands, which is visited by vacationers of all ages – about a million people a year.

About buying property on the island

The tourist south of the island is a huge success, so the local real estate market is expectedly more diverse and in demand among foreign buyers. Representatives of Britain, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Russia, Poland and other countries are happy to buy apartments, townhouses and villas on the island.

For example, in the famous Playa de las Americas and other southern resorts of the island, apartments with one or two bedrooms with an area of about 60 square meters are in greatest demand. m. The average transaction amount is about €175,000. Townhouses up to 100 sq. m. are also popular. m and cost up to €250,000. The most affordable options are studios and one-bedroom apartments, the average cost of which starts from €120,000 and €160,000, respectively. Such objects are in demand among investors due to the high rental demand.

“Between 2008 and 2013, the Canary Islands market was not in the best shape. But since 2014, prices began to recover and to this day they continue to gradually grow, which makes local square meters promising for long-term investments. Moreover, many foreign investors prefer to buy apartments for rent, as they provide good returns – about 7% per annum. And we are talking about apartments in new buildings, as well as in older complexes,” notes a specialist from Adelux International Properties, S. L. Fabiola Lopez Marine.

Buyers from outside the EU are often interested in more spacious, high-profile and, accordingly, more expensive properties. Often, the purchase is associated not only with the desire to acquire your own piece of Tenerife, but also to take advantage of the Spanish Golden Visa program. It implies the right to obtain a residence permit in Spain for investors who have invested at least €500,000 in local real estate. The residence permit is issued for two years with the right to extend for another five years. In addition to the applicant and his spouse, a residence permit can be obtained by children under 18 and the parents of the investor.

About the details of registering transactions

Fabiola López Marin, Adelux International Properties, S.L.: “You need to know that there are some differences in the process of completing a transaction and transferring property in Spain and on its islands, so it is important to take the transaction seriously and apply only to experienced market professionals.

  • If you are interested in buying a particular property, but would like to lower the price a little, you can make an offer to a real estate agent right on the spot. Usually the agent and the owners know how much they expect and how much they can give up
  • Tenerife does not have an official property assessment system, so the buyer must rely heavily on their own knowledge and judgment. On the one hand, this is a plus, since what you consider to be disadvantages can help lower the asking price. On the other hand, if you overlooked some serious defect and discovered after the transaction, it is problematic to obtain any compensation.
  • If your price offer is accepted, a deposit is required to reserve the property. Usually it is 10% of the value of the object. Reservation period varies from 3 to 90 days. During this time, the agent must check the property for all possible encumbrances. And provided that everything is in order, draw up a private contract of sale (in Spanish with parallel translation into English or the buyer’s native language), which must be signed by the seller and the buyer. Further, payment for the transaction must be made within the terms specified in the contract. In case of violation of the deadlines, the buyer may lose the entire deposit.
  • The transaction is completed in the office of the local notary, who is responsible for its legality. The notary checks and confirms the terms of the transaction. The law requires that the buyer, seller or their legal representatives be present.
  • When buying a property in Tenerife, the new owner expects more modest additional costs than in mainland Spain. Tax on the transfer of property in the Canary Islands – 6.5% of the price of the object. In the rest of the country – 10%. You also need to pay notary services and registration fees. They depend on the value of the object, but usually amount to €1,000.
  • In the case of purchasing real estate under construction from the developer, the buyer will have to pay for the transaction in stages. Conditions may vary depending on the developer. It is usually required to make an initial reserve deposit within 30 days from the date of signing the contract – up to 10% of the value of the object. The rest of the funds are paid according to the following scheme: 30% at the time of laying the foundation, another 30% when the construction has reached roof level, and the last 30% at the time of signing the escritura (title of ownership).

GEO – ART forecast and rates from a specialist 24.09.22 – Peter-Today, website of the city of St. Petersburg

At 14:00 Moscow time GEO players will play one of the most important matches of the season. This will be a duel, which is scheduled for September 24, 2022, and in it the hosts will have to host the ART football club on their field. The hosts do not play well with this opponent, because in the last ten matches they managed to win only two victories, and the last win was two years ago.

br >

It is very difficult to predict football matches in which the opponents are well-known football teams. Undoubtedly, such confrontations are better to watch, but it is rare that a fan can refrain from betting when he sees famous names in the starting lineups of both teams. The GEO team and the ART team are constantly the main competitors for the leadership in their championship. Therefore, for them, the next confrontation will mean the next stage of the struggle for the right to lead the championship race. Of course, the most likely bet in such a match is a bet on the total number of yellow cards for more. In face-to-face meetings, teams play without sparing themselves and their opponents, of course, the referee will not tolerate such behavior for a long time, and, of course, will reward the most zealous rude people with yellow cards, the total total of which we recommend playing for more in this match. The same applies to the total number of goals scored. Both clubs perform well at the gates of rivals, but their own defensive redoubts are often overplayed, which leads to goals conceded. We are confident that today both clubs will strive to score a lot on their opponents, and they will succeed. So, the total total of goals of the match can be played for more. Well, regarding the favorite of this confrontation, here they should be the home team, who are now showing more stable football. Although, during the match, everything can change, so we do not recommend making large bets on the outcome of this match.

BETTING/OFFICIENTS OF BOOKMAKERS FOR MATCH GEO – ART:

Football club GEO is considered the favorite of this confrontation, which is why the bookmakers set a low odds of 2.08 for the victory. A much higher coefficient of 2.08 was received by the ART football club, and between them there is a quote for a draw of 6.1.

Forecast for the match GEO – ART (Student League, national championship match, Sunday, September 24th, 2022): The GEO football club received a quote of 2.08 from the bookmakers for its victory, and at a coefficient of 2.08 you can bet on the victory of FC ART . Quote [kefdrew] accepts bets on a draw.

History of personal meetings

The large selection of bets offered by bookmakers on the match between GEO and ART can be explained by the fact that both teams are among the elite of modern football, and their confrontation is a match that will undoubtedly attract the attention of football fans around the world. The teams are carefully preparing for this match, as a victory in it will allow not only to score the three points necessary for the standings, but this victory will be a very strong moral boost, because a victory obtained in matches with a direct competitor in the fight for the championship is the best, oh than you can only dream of. In terms of personnel losses, the teams approach the upcoming match in excellent shape. All key players are ready to help the club from the starting minutes of the match, and the mentors were able to acquire a number of promising players on the transfer market who can strengthen the clubs’ game from the bench. So, with the performers, the GEO team and the ART team are in perfect order. The mentors also did not change their tactics compared to last season. Indeed, why break and change something that brings results. Recall that both clubs play attacking football, and, we can say that even sharply attacking, when the whole team can threaten the opponent’s goal during a quick transition from defense to attack, or with standards. This means that today the teams will not sit on the defensive, but will try to create maximum scoring chances.

GEO – ART football match was postponed to September 24, 2022, as it was supposed to take place two months ago, but then the referee canceled the game due to heavy rain. Now the players will take to the field at 14:00 Moscow time, and it will become clear which team is still stronger. At the beginning of the season, GEO and ART played each other, and then the scoreboard showed a draw with a score of 2-2, although the home team were leading by two goals after the end of the first half.

Pre-match analysis and bookmaker predictions

Last season the GEO team and the ART team played a great match, the result of which is still in the memory of many football fans. On the eve of a head-to-head match between these football clubs, the media are actively reminding which opponents will meet, and that the players of both teams can create on the football field. In general, the result of this confrontation will be decisive for both teams. Recall that now the GEO team and the ART team are among the leaders of the championship, the teams occupy places at the top of the standings, which indicates the seriousness of intentions regarding this season. Naturally, the teams have difficult matches ahead, but now all the attention of managers and players is focused on the upcoming game, in which the closest competitors will be the rivals. According to the managers of both teams, with the exception of injured players who have not been able to help their club for a long time, all other players are ready to enter the field from the starting minutes. Thanks to this, the managers of both teams have the opportunity to choose which of the players to entrust to play from the first minutes of the match. In this regard, the question arises of the tactical scheme that the managers of both teams will use for the next match. Our experts have carefully studied the statistics of the teams’ matches in the current season, as well as the statistics of head-to-head meetings between these football clubs in recent seasons. This allowed us to find interesting patterns on which our forecasts are based, which can be found below.

In the line of bookmakers, according to the experts of our resource, the chances of the GEO team and the ART team to succeed in the face-to-face confrontation are correctly reflected. Recall that these teams will meet in the next round of the championship, where they will determine the strongest. The home team is in a great mood for this match, the club has no serious personnel losses before the match, and the statistics of the last games show that the GEO team is in great shape. Guests also showed good results in recent matches. The club achieved important victories, which allowed it to improve its position in the standings. However, for the ART team, away matches this season are not going as well as games at their home stadium. In away matches, according to the players of the ART team themselves, they do not feel as confident as at home. Therefore, today our experts recommend betting on the victory of the GEO team, as the home team is now in excellent shape, and the native stands should help the club demonstrate excellent football and achieve victory. The overall total of the match, we recommend playing for more, since both clubs operate in an attacking style, so we expect a lot of goals in this match. The total total of violations and yellow cards should also be played for more, since this meeting is fundamental for both teams, therefore, the players will often break the rules. But we consider corners less, since the GEO team and the ART team do not use the flanks so often when attacking.

GEO

During the off-season, the management of the GEO football club could not keep many of its leaders, who began to leave the team as soon as it had financial difficulties. There are few experienced players left in the squad, so the current head coach is forced to use players from the youth academy on the football field, for whom this season is their debut in the top division. So, if earlier the football club GEO was a strong middle peasant, then very quickly it turned into an outsider, and the hosts now occupy the last line, not showing an encouraging game. So far, the football club GEO can boast of only two victories, and there are practically no chances of salvation from relegation, because the team has both the most leaky defense and the most ineffective attack. Over the last six rounds, they managed to score only one point, and the change of coach last month did not bring the desired result. In the infirmary of the owners attacking midfielder and right winger.

ART

For the third season in a row, the ART football club is on the verge of relegation from the top division, and the management does not take any measures to avoid this. This year, the team has been in sixteenth place for a long time, only two points ahead of outsiders from the relegation zone. The guests have obvious problems with the game in attack, because the team does not score two goals per match on average. The defense of the ART football club is also far from ideal, and this is especially true for away matches, where the number of goals conceded is twice as much as at home. The team has already suffered ten defeats away, having managed to win only two victories. So, only a good home game has not yet allowed the ART football club to slide into the relegation zone. Guests have a weak composition, where there are enough problematic positions. For example, the team does not have a nominal right midfielder, so either a defender or a winger has to play in this position. And in this match, the attacking midfielder, who received a red card in the last game, will not be able to play for the guests.

The favorites of our experts in the match between GEO and ART are the home team. Even despite the fact that from the tournament point of view, the result of this match will not be of serious importance for the teams, the home team is several goals stronger than their rivals. In general, if you look at the standings of the GEO team and the ART team, then the favorite in this confrontation can be determined with the naked eye, without using special resources or programs. The home team is at the top of the standings, the team has already qualified for the prestigious club tournament. The guests are in the second part of the standings, and even if the team is not threatened with relegation to the lower division, the ART team this season, especially in away matches, does not show the best results. Therefore, the experts of our resource are in solidarity with the bookmakers, who see the home team as the favorites here, and recommend betting that the GEO team will defeat their rivals. More risky bettors can play a handicap for the home team, which is also a good bet for this match. We recommend playing for more total goals in the match, because at home the GEO team always plays very sharply, without stopping after a goal is scored. But there will be few violations and yellow cards in the match, in the end of the championship the teams are unlikely to play rough, since none of the players wants to get injured. Therefore, we recommend playing these totals for less. Both clubs serve a lot of corners, therefore, our experts believe that the total total announced by the bookmakers will be beaten.

The game will end with the victory of GEO – 2.08, the game will be a draw – 6.1, the game will end with the victory of ART – 2.08.

Bookmakers believe that the ART team has no special chances against a more motivated opponent, and our experts fully agree with this. Recall that the home team now needs points, and in terms of the level of play they are noticeably superior to their rivals, who, in addition to everything, have already lost motivation in this championship. Recall that the ART team had become the main loser of the championship even earlier, when they could not win a single away match. And in general, the guests in this championship really look weak, yielding even to frankly weak teams, it is clear that the team has spent the last of its strength to enter the elite division. There is no need to remind once again that the GEO team consists of real professionals who have managed to establish themselves not only at the club level, but also at the level of the national teams, these players know how to decide the outcome of matches with one touch, so the guests simply have no chance in against such a formidable and motivated opponent. So, here we are in solidarity with the bookmakers who predict a confident victory for the home team. Therefore, our prediction is the handicap of the GEO team in this match. The total total must also be broken, moreover, it is necessary to place bets on the total total of goals scored for more and on the individual total of the home team. At home, the GEO team plays very powerfully, especially against weak opponents, who score at least two or three goals. We also recommend playing the GEO team’s individual total of corners for more, as the home team does not stop attacking even after several goals scored.

“GEO”

After the GEO football club lost the starting seven rounds, the president did not stand on ceremony and dismissed the entire coaching staff. With a new experienced specialist, the team won the first match, and then, although there were sometimes defeats, the hosts nevertheless gained stability, so they gradually got out of the relegation zone, and now they are two points ahead of them. In the last five rounds, the GEO football club won two victories with two defeats, and the team scores most of the points in its home arena, where all the defeats were exclusively at the beginning of the season, after which the hosts no longer lose at home. The football club GEO has problems with the implementation of scoring chances, because on average they don’t get even one goal per game. But, on the other hand, now the team is much better on the defensive than at the beginning of the season, so quite often the fights end with zeros on the scoreboard. One striker was out for six months, and three midfielders will not be able to help the hosts.

“ART”

Last season football club ART won the league title, but this season we are not even talking about defending the trophy. The head coach started having problems with many players of the main squad, so there is no longer that well-played fighting team that smashed everyone last year. The guests occupy only the fourth place in the championship, and the backlog from the leader is so large that the team now has to fight only not to lose its place in European competitions. The football club ART plays equally both at home and in away matches, and this season the guests only demonstrate a reliable game in defense, but the team’s performance has fallen significantly compared to last year. Recently, FC ART went on a streak of eight matches without defeat, but in the last round the team unexpectedly lost at home to an outsider, conceding three unanswered goals into their own net. The only loss of the guests is the left striker.

Statistics and head to head

A difficult match awaits all football fans. On the eve of the fact that all football championships go to the finish line, for many teams the remaining game segment will be a serious test, as the position in the standings obliges to play only to win. The GEO team and the ART team are still among the losers, as they have not yet secured a place in the championship for next season. However, compared to outsiders, these teams are doing better, as they have excellent chances to solve their problems in the remaining matches, and even have the right to misfire. However, club managers would not like to put off solving problems until later, therefore, in today’s confrontation, the teams will only play to win, which means that our experts will have to work hard to offer bettors excellent predictions for a principled match between two representatives of the bottom of the standings. In general, football experts have an excellent opinion that when representatives of the cellars of the standings of any football championship meet among themselves, it is necessary to bet on the victory or not loss of the team that plays at home. This rule works almost flawlessly, bringing a solid plus at a distance. However, when predicting the match between the GEO team and the ART team, the experts of our resource are guided not only by the rules, but also by statistics, a thorough analysis of which will allow us to find interesting offers from bookmakers and use them for bets. Below we have prepared some interesting bets, we advise you to familiarize yourself with them, well, do not miss the match, we think there will be a lot of interesting things.

GEO-ART. Football forecast (24.09.22)

The managers of the GEO team and the ART team made a lot of loud statements on the eve of the match. Recall that the GEO team and the ART team will meet each other within the championship. Both clubs are now fighting for the opportunity to improve their standings and, in principle, there is still time for this, as there are still enough matches in the championship. The clubs approach the face-to-face confrontation without significant losses, yes, the teams lost some players before, but they have already learned how to act without them. The advantage of the home field is the main factor that forces bookmakers and experts of our resource to consider the home team as the favorites of this match. In principle, this season the ART team performs just as well, and is quite capable of inflicting an unpleasant defeat on their opponents at home. So, in this match, we recommend waiting for the start of the game, and then, having decided on the form and readiness of the teams, betting on the winner in this match. Total total: here, most likely, it is better to play for more. The GEO team and the ART team have enough players with excellent individual technique that can lead to a goal scored at any moment. Violations and yellow cards are also expected in the match, because, regardless of which team opens the score first, the players will act rudely against each other, provoke and feign, and all this contributes to a large number of yellow cards. Since both teams use the flanks and statistically take a lot of corners, here we recommend betting on total over corners in this game.

Football matches have long attracted not only fans to watch this magnificent action, but also fans of easy money. Today, bookmakers open new offices and representative offices literally every day. They try to lure new customers by offering a variety of betting options, including bets not only before but also during the match. Bookmakers become sponsors of individual football clubs in order to be able to offer only their bets at the stadium of that club. In general, now sports and bookmakers have become inseparable concepts that go hand in hand. However, our experts believe that it is enough to feed the bookmakers, stop betting for the sake of entertainment, it is necessary to seriously punish the bookmakers for their miscalculations. That is why we share our football predictions with bettors. Basically, these are forecasts for statistics, less often forecasts for outcomes. We professionally analyze our bets, trying to offer bettors only the best ones, the probability of which is very high. Our experts are constantly monitoring the bookmaker lines in search of great bets so that bettors can enjoy football and win money.

According to football analysts, FC GEO win or a draw should be considered as a bet on this match, as ART is not in the best shape now and does not always play consistently away.

GEO – ART: statistics and history of H2H

Team performance statistics do not always reflect the essence of what is really happening on the football field. For example, in the confrontation between the GEO team and the ART team, according to our experts, the game will go completely differently than these teams are used to playing. Both clubs are the leaders of the championship, respectively, in matches with their rivals, they are used to playing first numbers. In a match between each other, the teams will either have to act on a collision course, or one of the teams will have to play the second number. Naturally, club managers are faced with a difficult choice, given that the GEO team and the ART team are now having some problems with the main players, and the release of some of them is in question. Much will depend on what tactics the managers will choose for this match. However, our experts decided not to guess the tactics of the teams, we will try to focus on the statistics of this match. Fortunately, the bookmakers offered a fairly decent amount of bets for the match between the GEO team and the ART team, as they believe that this confrontation will be the central match of the weekend. A detailed analysis of the match can be read below. We think that the game is great for live betting, as events will develop rapidly on the field. Thus, the fans will not be bored, they will watch an interesting match with an unpredictable result.

br>

The players of the Slovakia U19 club promised on 09/24/2022 in their field to take revenge on FC Armenia (19) for the recent away defeat with a score of 1-4. The organizers of this tournament are going to start the fight at 12:00 Moscow time. In general, the football club Slovakia (19) is the favorite, based on the statistics of previous matches, because it has 35 wins in 59 meetings. But, lately, the hosts have not been playing the best way with this opponent, having suffered two defeats in three matches and drawing once.

The long-awaited football match between Slovakia U19 and Armenia U19 will start very soon. Naturally, our forecasters could not leave such a sporting event unattended, so we decided to offer our vision of the development of events in this match. Considering all the personnel changes that took place in the clubs during the off-season, as well as taking into account the results of the matches of the first rounds, we believe that the home team should be the favorites in this confrontation. And here we fully agree with the odds offered by bookmakers. Team Slovakia U19) now looks better played and more prepared than their opponents, especially since the team Armenia (19) did not arrive at the match in the optimal line-up. So, regarding the winner of this match, we are for the home team. Considering that last season both clubs acted in an attacking style, and they managed to keep the main backbone of performers, and, most importantly, managers, this season the teams will also most likely play attacking football. And this means that in today’s confrontation we will see a lot of attacks, therefore, there will be many goals scored, so we advise you to play for more total goals in this match. We see a bet on the fact that both teams will score in the match as a good offer from bookmakers. Team Slovakia U19) and the Armenia team (19) have always been famous for their powerful attack and midfield, but in defense they rarely play without mistakes.

History of personal meetings

To analyze and find interesting predictions for the match between Slovakia U19 and Armenia U19, our experts had to work through a large amount of information. This includes both last season’s matches played by the clubs and friendly matches in which the teams took part in the off-season. In addition, we worked with the squads, finding out the usefulness of the departed, remaining and incoming players. All this allowed us to draw certain conclusions, which are reflected in our forecasts. Team Slovakia U19) and the team of Armenia (19) are clubs that played in an attacking manner last season. However, now for one of the teams this style of play will be unacceptable, as a number of players who were responsible for creativity and implementation have left the club. New performers were taken in their place, but it is unlikely that the mentor will immediately build the games of the entire team through newcomers. Most likely, the club will choose a defensive style, trying to threaten the opponent’s goal on the counterattacks. The other team retained its leaders, so we believe that here the coach did not touch the previous tactical scheme, leaving it unchanged. So, our forecasters see several options for the development of events in this match, but the most realistic one will be when one team will constantly attack, and the other will try to destroy the attacks, turning into lightning-fast counterattacks. Regardless of the tactics that the mentors choose for their charges, we believe that the game will turn out to be interesting and will satisfy the “hunger” of fans who miss football.

The football match Slovakia U19 – Armenia U19 was rescheduled for 09/24/2022, as it was supposed to take place two months ago, but then the referee canceled the game due to heavy rain. Now the players will take the field at 12:00 Moscow time, and it will become clear which team is still stronger. At the beginning of the season, Slovakia (19) and Armenia (19) played each other, and then the scoreboard showed a draw with a score of 2-2, although the home team led by two goals after the end of the first half.

Pre-match analysis and bookmakers’ forecasts

Statistics is the most important tool used by the experts of our resource when making predictions for football matches. In the match between the team Slovakia (19) and the team Armenia (19), which will take place in the next round of the championship, we also used statistics to make interesting predictions. So far, judging by the results that the teams are showing this season, it seems that the club management has set serious tasks for them. Both clubs play in an attacking style, which means a large number of shots on the opponent’s goal. In general, the game of the teams this season is completely focused on the attack, which can be seen by looking at the lineups of the teams. Managers have relied not only on a powerful attack, but also on midfield, midfield players are actively involved in the team’s attacks and score no less than the attackers. At the same time, serious attention was paid to building a good defense, which in many matches of the season looks reliable and impregnable. In general, today the team Slovakia (19) and the Armenia (19) team are tough nuts that can get on the nerves of any club. Between themselves, these teams always play productively. From the first to the last minutes of the match, the clubs attack each other’s gates, trying to score as many goals as possible. Now the struggle in the standings is aggravated to the limit, and in order to take a worthy place, teams need to show, first of all, the result. Therefore, according to the club’s managers, in the next match their wards will play only to win, therefore, an interesting confrontation awaits the fans.

For many football fans the confrontation between the team of Slovakia U19 and the team of Armenia U19 is a great opportunity not only to enjoy a good match, but also to win at bookmakers. And this is where the experts of our resource offer their help. The home team is now in a not entirely successful streak that needs to be interrupted. However, the Armenia U19 team is not the best opponent to break the losing streak. The guests are a tough nut to crack, and even considering the fact that Armenia (19) there will not be several base players who dropped out due to injuries, it will be very, very difficult for the hosts to break through the defense of the guests. Therefore, taking into account the personal meetings, and also taking into account the importance of the match for both teams, our experts have come to the conclusion that the most interesting bet in this confrontation will be the bet on the total number of goals scored under. We assume that the game will mainly take place in the center of the field, therefore, both clubs will actively use the tactics of a small foul, in this regard, the total total of violations of the rules, as well as the total total of yellow cards, our experts recommend playing for more. At the same time, we think that in the match there is a high probability of a player being sent off the field, because if you look at the statistics of the confrontations between these clubs, removals are quite common here, and for the odds offered by the bookmakers, it’s definitely worth the risk. Regarding the favorite of this match, we believe that the home team is unlikely to lose, because now they need a victory more than ever, so we recommend betting with a handicap on the players of the Slovakia team (19), and risky bettors can try to win the home team.

Slovakia U19

Fans of the Slovakia U19 football club have already come to terms with the fact that it has been constantly moving between divisions in recent years. At the beginning of the season, everything also went to the fact that the team was expected to be demoted, but after the head coach was fired and an experienced foreign specialist took his place, the team’s results gradually began to improve. The hosts were able to get out of the relegation zone, and now they are generally in tenth place, so they managed to break away from the outsiders by fourteen points already. At the moment the football club Slovakia (19) is generally in great shape, having won three of his last four fights, as well as drawing once. At home, the team wins more than they lose, and the new coach made the players think more about defense, so the number of goals conceded was significantly reduced. Three midfielders recovered from damage at once, so that only the central defender and the left striker remain in the infirmary.

Armenia (19)

After being in the football club Armenia (19)) the head coach changed two years ago, there was a slight decline in the game, but gradually the team began to show even better results with a new mentor. This season, the guests are in sixth place in the championship, claiming a ticket to European competition. But, for this you need to win the fight, which included four more teams. The players of the Armenia U19 club show a very good game at home, but on the road the team plays exclusively from defense, which is why there were thirteen draws in eighteen matches away. At the same time, FC Armenia (19) lost on the road only once, which even the leaders of the championship cannot boast of. For seven rounds, the guests have not lost, having won three and drawn four times. The team has one of the best defenses in the championship, because it is in the top three in terms of the number of goals conceded. The guests do not have a long bench, but at the moment the team has no serious personnel problems, because only the right midfielder is injured, who has been in the hospital for more than a month.

Interesting facts before the match Slovakia (19) – Armenia (19)

The favorites of our experts in the match between Slovakia (19) and Armenia (19) are the home team. Even despite the fact that from the tournament point of view, the result of this match will not be of serious importance for the teams, the home team is several goals stronger than their rivals. In general, if you look at the standings of the team Slovakia (19) and the team Armenia (19), then the favorite in this confrontation can be determined with the naked eye, without using special resources or programs. The home team is at the top of the standings, the team has already qualified for the prestigious club tournament. The guests are in the second part of the standings, and even though the team is not threatened with relegation to the lower division, the Armenia team is still (19) this season, especially in away matches, shows not the best results. Therefore, the experts of our resource are in solidarity with the bookmakers, who see the home team here as the favorites, and recommend betting that the team Slovakia (19) will win their rivals. More risky bettors can play a handicap for the home team, which is also a good bet for this match. We recommend playing for more total goals in the match, because at home the team Slovakia U19 always plays very sharply, without stopping after a goal is scored.

Slovakia will win the match (19) – 1.344, Armenia (19) will win the match – 7.3, there are no winners in the match – 4.5.

It is not always possible to find an interesting bet on the outcome for a high odds, however, in the match between Slovakia U19 and Armenia U19, which will meet in the next round, our experts managed to find an interesting bet. So, teams that have already resolved all their issues in the championship will meet among themselves, therefore, in the remaining matches until the end of the season, clubs can frankly fool around in terms of results. Despite the fact that the home team is somewhat ahead of their rivals in the standings, such a low odds for the victory of the team Slovakia (19) in this match – it is difficult to consider a normal quote. Most likely, the bookmaker relies on insider information. However, if we look at the results of head-to-head confrontations, we see that in the first match of this season between the players of the team Slovakia (19) and the team of Armenia (19) there was a draw. And last season the clubs parted with home victories. We conclude that no one owes anything to anyone, therefore, today you can also safely flirt with a draw in this match, fortunately, bookmakers offer quite impressive odds for this event. Those who are not used to risking for a large odds can try to bet that the guests will not lose in this match. According to the present information, both clubs will not play in optimal compositions. Another good bet in this match is that both teams will score. It’s scary to climb into the total total, as they can play the classics – 1:1. We also recommend not to go into the statistics, since the match is muddy, and the outcome will not particularly decide anything for any of the opponents.

“Slovakia U19”

Until recently, the football club Slovakia U19 was in last place in the championship, and there was no hope that it would be possible to escape relegation. But, after the head coach changed, the outsider’s game improved a lot, so in five rounds under his leadership there was only one defeat, moreover, from the representative of the TOP-5 of the championship, and in the remaining matches the hosts won two victories over stronger opponents and played twice draw. This made it possible to rise from the last place and the football club Slovakia (19) even left the relegation zone, but the team is ahead of the rest of the outsiders solely due to the better difference in goals scored and conceded. The main thing is that the effect of the mentor change should last as long as possible, then the hosts will be able to score more points and move away from the danger zone. But, even despite the fact that the form of the football club Slovakia (19) has improved, it still remains the least scoring team in the championship.

Based on the results of the last season, it was clear that the head coach of the football club Armenia (19) I can’t set up the game, but since the relegation was avoided, the mentor was left at the helm of the team. But, the start of this season turned out to be disgusting, so the coach was given an ultimatum in the form of three victories, but he did not fulfill it. The foreign specialist was replaced by a local coach, who during his career managed to work with a few dozen clubs from this championship. The result was not long in coming, so the football club Bad Gleichenberg managed to leave the relegation zone and rise to at least the twelfth line, although there is a short distance of three points to the outsiders. Away Armenia U19) always does not play as well as at home, but now the guests are in good shape, as they had a series of six matches without defeat, which was interrupted only in the last round. One of the main attackers was out of action for three months.

Statistics and H2H

For the experts of our resource, the match between the team of Slovakia (19) and the team of Armenia (19) was very interesting for forecasting. Now both clubs are fighting in the standings. Despite the fact that both teams are the giants of modern football, things are not going well for them now, as the teams run the risk of flying past not only the championship race, but also past the high places in the standings, giving the right to get into the prestigious club tournament on next year. According to club managers, now the teams are faced with the task of demonstrating their maximum and trying to win a ticket to this tournament at any cost, so the match between the two contenders should turn out to be very tense. Considering that these teams always play defensive football among themselves, trying to concentrate the game as much as possible in the center of the field, and not allow sharp attacks on each other’s goal, it is unlikely that today managers will use a different tactic, especially since for various reasons the teams will not be able to help them some leaders. We believe that the outcome of the match will be decided thanks to one accurate shot, and it’s very difficult to say right away which team’s players will be able to score the winning goal, because, based on the current state of affairs, the match of the Slovakia team (19) and Armenia (19) is a match of equal opponents. Our experts tried to predict not only the outcome of this match, but also made forecasts for the statistics, below you can find them. Tenerife water and air temperature by months. Nature in Tenerife has no bad weather. Every month is ❀ grace! Monthly water temperature in tenerife

The unique climatic conditions of the island give tourists the opportunity to visit the island at almost any time of the year. No wonder they say about Tenerife that eternal spring has settled on it. There is practically no rain here, the mountains provide reliable protection from the wind, and the water temperature never drops below 19 degrees. The landscape of the island has an attractive magic that makes you come back here again and again. Family holidays with children, a youth trip for those who want to have noisy fun, a calm and comfortable vacation for a wealthy businessman – any tourist will find a suitable vacation option in Tenerife.

Tenerife climate

The island lies entirely in a subtropical climate, but has about 30 microclimatic zones, so different places on the coast may differ in climatic conditions. In general terms, we can say that the north is cooler and wetter, and the south and west, respectively, are warmer. Rains here are very rare, and snow can only be seen at the top of the Teide volcano.

Temperature fluctuations throughout the year range from 15 to 25 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the average values do not fall below +21 and do not exceed +27, which makes holidays in Tenerife comfortable throughout the year.

It gets a little cooler at night, but temperature fluctuations are not significant at all. For the evening, just take a light jacket or sweatshirt with you.

In the southern resorts of Tenerife, there is very little rain, most of the precipitation falls in the north and in the center of the island near the Teide volcano. In Tenerife, rains, if they happen, are very weak and short-lived – it will drip a little and that’s it.

When is the best time to go on holiday in Tenerife?

The high season in Tenerife lasts from June to October. The largest number of tourists visit the island from July to August. The best time to visit Tenerife is September and October. Thanks to the blowing ocean breeze and low air humidity, there is no exhausting heat. The Atlantic Ocean during these months is maximally warmed up to 23 degrees and swimming in it is a pleasure. There are noticeably fewer tourists than in July-August. Prices, of course, are growing a little, but not so much as to refuse to rest because of this.

Low season in Tenerife – this concept is almost inapplicable for this resort, we can only talk about a slight decrease in the influx of tourists, which usually occurs in January and April. During these months the water is too cool for comfortable swimming.

Holidays on the island of Tenerife are good in their own way at any time of the year. Here you can find exactly the option that suits you.

Beach season in Tenerife

At the height of the swimming season in Tenerife in September and October, the water temperature is between 20-24 degrees. You can sunbathe in Tenerife throughout the year.

In this heavenly place, you can find a lot of interesting things to do, in addition to swimming, but, for fans of beach holidays, we hasten to inform you: people swim here all year round! Indeed, even in the January off-season, the lowest temperature of ocean water is 19degrees. Of course, not everyone will like such water, but in this case, 4-5 star hotels in Tenerife have heated pools.

Tenerife in spring

The spring state of Tenerife is felt throughout the year. By the way, the Coming of Spring – another of the many holidays that, among other things, the island is so rich in, is celebrated in the spring, on March 21st. March to May is warm, mild, dry weather. Light rain is rare in the north. Sunny during the day, slightly cool at night. Great sunbathing time, visiting various parks and attractions.

Tenerife in summer

Unlike most southern resorts in Europe, Tenerife does not get very hot in summer. The maximum temperature is usually observed in August and is about 30 degrees Celsius, which, coupled with low humidity, gives quite a comfortable feeling. The days are sunny, and the sun is not “evil”, but suitable for sunbathing. Rain is possible only in the mountains, and even then no more than once a month. The water warms up to an ideal 22 degrees. For lovers of sports recreation on the water, the northern breeze blowing will come in handy! Summer holidays in Tenerife have another plus – a lot of fruits are grown on the island, which just ripen in the summer months. There are many tourists.

Tenerife in autumn

The autumn season on the island is slightly different from the summer season. During the day everything is also hot, up to +25. Evenings and nights have become cooler, the temperature can drop to +17, so you should slightly warm up in clothes. But the water, as usual, is warm, the sun is gentle, so you can safely run to the beach. The amount of rain increases slightly – up to five per month on average, especially in the northwestern regions. This is due to the higher humidity of the microclimate, so in autumn the demand is increased for the resorts of the southern part of the island: Costa Adeje, Las Americas, Los Cristianos. In any case, autumn in Tenerife, with its sun, bathing ocean and natural beauty, compares favorably with the dull European slush, which manifests itself in the form of a good tourist flow compared to other resorts in Europe.

Tenerife in winter

The winter months are more like the not so hot summer we are accustomed to. In the evening and at night, the coolness is felt more noticeably, but even a light sweater already saves from it. There is a little more rain, but they are short-lived, which is called “a light summer rain” or “it dripped and passed. ” In winter, lovers of discounts are very fond of relaxing – prices in Tenerife are reduced by about a quarter. The ocean is not so inviting for swimming – about +19 degrees, which significantly reduces the flow of tourists. When planning a trip, do not forget about the strong winds of the north coast, especially when you are going on an excursion to one of the wonderful National Parks of Tenerife. Dress warmly.

Holiday season in Tenerife

Tenerife, as mentioned above, is under Spanish jurisdiction, respectively, and the inhabitants of the island adhere to the Catholic religion. These two facts explain the presence of a large number of church holidays, which are celebrated, however, quite secularly, with carnivals, processions, dances and other fiesta. Of the brightest, it is worth noting the “Holy Week”, which takes place before Easter. At this time, colorful processions of believers with religious symbols can be observed throughout the island. The Corpus Christi flower festival should also be noted, when large cities are covered with whole carpets of flowers. The celebration of the Day of Our Lady of Candelar (she is considered the patroness of the Canary Islands) looks very colorful, it is celebrated on August 14 and 15. And, of course, the Day of the Canary Islands – May 30, which is happening as violently and brightly as possible! Do not forget about the New Year and Merry Christmas, which are also honored on the island.

Carnival season in Tenerife

Peaks in February. It is called “Mardi Gras”. The largest actions are held in the capital of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The dry presentation was deliberately chosen, because any, even the most enthusiastic, replete with exclamation marks and other ahas, is still not able to convey even a small clip of the ongoing carnival riot. It’s just a must see! It is not for nothing that the Tenerife carnival is considered the second most beautiful in the world, right after the Brazilian one, which takes place in Rio de Janeiro. After the unbridled fun of the carnival, its end is marked by Great Lent.

Tenerife – the largest island of the Canary archipelago wins the hearts of travelers with a huge number of sandy beaches of black and golden sand, with its incessant holiday, passionate and at the same time romantic character, and a peaceful siesta. Due to its natural and climatic features, the island has become one of the most privileged and popular resorts in the world.

A continent in miniature with its subtropical and tropical forests, fertile valleys, majestic mountain ranges, volcanic semi-deserts, sand dunes and mountain gorges attracts tourists throughout the year. The tropical trade-wind climate has ensured that the island never experiences prolonged rainy seasons and sub-zero temperatures.

The “Island of Eternal Spring” with its even and mild climate does not have sharp temperature fluctuations. The water in the Atlantic Ocean even in the coldest months warms up to +20°C, and the daily air temperature fluctuates between +18°C-24°C, which makes it possible to sunbathe and swim at any time of the year.

January

The first month of the year is traditionally considered the coldest month
in Tenerife.

But it never gets really cold even in the north of the island
    , where:

  • The average daytime air temperature is from +15°C,
  • The night temperature is from +9°C, and the water temperature does not fall below +19°C.
Air in resort centers in the south of the island
    (in Las Americas, El Medano):

  • During the day it warms up to +21°C,
  • At night – up to +14-15°C,
  • The water warms up to +19-20°C.

If you go to Tenerife in January, you should definitely bring some warm clothes.

Many northern Europeans enjoy swimming in the ocean, while other heat-loving tourists prefer to swim in the hotel’s pools, most of which are heated to +24°C.

Also at this time, most of the island’s guests prefer active holidays in water parks
.
For example, you can go to Siam Park (Siam Park)
is a one-of-a-kind theme park that has the atmosphere of the ancient kingdom of Siam.

State-of-the-art water rides and a breathtaking exotic paradise will leave visitors with unforgettable impressions and photos of fantastic beauty.
Located in Las Americas at Autopista del Sur, TF1, Salida 29, 38660
.

For more information about the attractions of Siam Park, ticket prices for adults and children, read the article about the most popular resort in Tenerife -.

Golf lovers can head to the northwest of the island, where Buenavista Golf is located
, equipped with 18 holes and par 72, provides the opportunity to combine relaxation with learning to play golf throughout the year on courses of excellent quality.

Located at: Calle La Finca 38480 Buenavista del Norte
.

But also in the south, where rain is a rare visitor, there are such golf clubs as:

  • Abama Golf
. Address: Ctra Gral. TF-47, km.9. Playa San Juan,38687 Guia de Isora
    ,

    ,
  • Centro de Golf Los Palos
    . Address: Ctra.Guaza – Las Galletas, km.7, 38636 Arona
    etc.

If the weather on the island leaves much to be desired or rainy days have begun, which in January there are no more than 5 in the south, and no more than 13 days in the north, then you can visit.

It is located in San Cristobal de La Laguna at
: Calle San Agustin, 22 38201 La Laguna
.

The museum is housed in the Casa Lercado mansion, a Renaissance manor house. The expositions of the museum tell about the development of the island between the 15th and 20th centuries. The pride of the museum is an extensive collection of maps of the Canary Islands dating back to the 16th century.

Also in La Laguna at Carretera Tacoronte – Valle de Guerra s/n 38270 La Laguna
houses the Museum of Anthropology, created to explore and preserve the folk traditions and rich culture of the island.

All museum information is available in printed form in a variety of languages including Spanish, German, English, French and Italian.

Museum opening hours:
  • Sun and Mon from 10:00 to 17:00, other days from 9:00 to 20:00.

A pleasant surprise for vacationers in early January will be the feast of the Three Kings or the Three Wise Men, who, according to the biblical story, brought gifts to the newborn Christ. This holiday is especially widely celebrated in the port of the resort of Los Cristianos or in the town square in Adeje, where 3 dressed kings with their retinue arrive by ship or helicopter.

A volley from a cannon on a ship or fireworks is announced to the residents and guests of the resorts about the arrival of the kings, who then change to horses or camels and march along the main streets, accompanied by elegant carts. They distribute sweets to all the children. The balconies and doors of the houses of the inhabitants of these streets are festively decorated with flower compositions and flags.

Another important island event to see is Saint Sebastian’s Day
. It is celebrated every year on January 20th. Traditionally, a holiday in honor of the patron saint of policemen, soldiers, merchants, doctors, gardeners, builders and athletes is held in the province of Costa Adeje in the south and in the village of La Galeta.

Processions leave from the chapel with the faithful, dressed in the national costumes of peasants, riders on horseback. The statue of the saint is carried on a stretcher. Pets also accompany the procession. As a sign of cleansing from troubles, riders enter the sea, where they also try to drag livestock. The sight is funny, therefore it attracts many hotel guests and other travelers.

February

The weather in the second month of the year differs little from the weather in Tenerife in January.

In the northern part of the island
, for example, in the resort of Puerto de la Cruz island:

  • The highest daytime temperature will be +19°C, in the evening it gradually decreases from +16°C to +12°C,
  • The lowest temperature at night is kept at + 9°C.
  • There can be 11 rainy days during February.
  • The sun shines 6 hours a day.

Wet Atlantic trade winds are absolutely not conducive to swimming in the ocean, but for surfers this is the most beautiful weather.

In the south of the island:

  • Around +21°C-25°C during the day,
  • At night the temperature does not fall below +15°C, while the waters of the Atlantic Ocean warm up to +18-19°C.
  • Maybe 3 rainy days.

This month, also in the south, is a paradise for surfers, especially those who like to stay in apartments or hotels in El Medano, where the most reputable clubs are located.

  • Surf Center Playa Sur
is one of the famous clubs located in the Playa Sur Tenerife hotel (C. La Gaviota, s/n, El Medano), offering services to windsurfers, equipment and equipment rental.
  • Fun Factory
is another famous club located at Avenida Europa 2, El Medano
    .
El Medano’s coastal waters are never calm, so the place is ideal for windsurfing and kitesurfing all year round.

If you have a holiday on the island in February, you should definitely take warm clothes with you, especially for evening walks along the promenade. But the rest will be comfortable this month as well, since basically all hotels have heated outdoor pools on their territory.

In February you can climb the highest point in all of Spain – Mount Teide
covered with snow. The last eruption of Teide was recorded in 1909. It offers a fantastic panoramic view of all the Canary Islands. The Teide National Park is located on the slopes of the mountain and is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Attractive end of winter and Carnival, declared in 1980 as an international tourist festival. The date of the grand event is “floating” and depends on the date of Easter – the Resurrection of Christ. Therefore, as a rule, Carnival is celebrated either at the end of February or at the beginning of March.

A grandiose and exciting event, accompanied by processions in carnival costumes, the sounds of incendiary music and dynamic dances, takes place in all the cities and small villages of the island, but it is especially celebrated in Santa Cruz de Tenerife – the capital of the island.

The main attention of all residents and tourists is riveted to the choice of the Carnival Queen (Gala Reina). Girls parade in front of the jury and spectators in extravagant costumes, whose length and width can reach several meters.

Also a separate and most popular competition is competition among drag queens (Drag Queen)
, whose costumes are somewhat more modest than those of the girls, but the transvestites are trying to put more emphasis on plastic movements in ultra-high platform shoes and frankly defiant costumes.

You can get to Santa Cruz at the Carnival by public transport – buses, the route scheme of which provides for regular service, with an interval of about 30 minutes.

  • The distance from Playa de Las Americas and Playa de Los Cristianos to the capital is 75 km,
  • from Puerto de La Cruz – 35 km,
  • from Playa Paraiso – 90 km,
  • from Costa del Silencio – 70 km.
  • Estimated ticket price is 8€.

You can also take a taxi.
For example, the approximate cost of a trip:

  • from Puerto de La Cruz to Santa Cruz will be 50€,
  • from Playa de Las Americas and Playa de Los Cristianos – 80€.

March

The first month of calendar spring is characterized by slight instability in temperatures.

    North of the island
    thermometer:

  • +20°C during the day,
  • +17°C to +13°C in the evening,
  • +10-11°C at night.
  • The waters of the Atlantic Ocean warm up to +19°C
  • The rich and varied vegetation of the northern part of the island is due to 11 rainy days.
    South
    :

  • The average daily temperature is +22°C, but it can warm up to +30°C,
  • The night temperature is +16°C,
  • The water temperature is +19°C.

Warm clothes will not be superfluous, and swimming in the ocean is recommended before 15:00, as you can catch a cold later. There are a lot of advantages of staying on the island in March.

Firstly, there are no crowds of tourists yet, which contributes to a comfortable visit to the sights of the island:

  • Mount Teide
which can be reached by funicular and
  • Loro Parca
is both a botanical garden and a zoo.

The park is located in a resort town in the north of the island in Puerto de la Cruz at the address: Punta Brava, Puerto de La Cruz
and represents numerous varieties of parrots. The park also houses an aquarium and a dolphinarium, where unique shows with marine life are held.

Entrance fee:
  • for adults is 60€,
  • for children from 6 to 11 years old is 40€.
  • You can also purchase the so-called double card (twin card), which includes visiting LORO PARQUE and SIAM PARK, where the ticket price for adults is 149€, for children from 6 to 11 years old – 99€.

If the weather in March does not allow you to indulge in idle “doing nothing” on the beach, then you can go to the jousting tournament in the castle of San Miguel
passing in a small town in the south at Avenida Edelmira Alfonso, S/N 38628, San Miguel de Abona
.

The medieval castle, decorated in the appropriate surroundings, immerses visitors in the atmosphere of the time of the noble knights ruled by King Arthur. At the entrance, visitors are greeted by riders in knight’s costumes, handing out capes of 6 colors, which means which of the knights to cheer for. In the armory, visitors are cordially greeted by the king and princess. Mastery of swords, spears, prancing on horseback and knights in armor are breathtaking.

From among the beautiful spectators, the winner of the tournament chooses a “lady of the heart”, who is given the right to become an honored guest of the royal balcony. After tasting a medieval dinner consisting of stew and chicken, the guests of the castle go to the continuation of the tournament, and then to the disco.

The jousting tournament is held in the castle on Tue, Wed, Thu and Sat.

Ticket price:
  • for adults – 47€,
  • for children – 24€.

April

Real spring reigns on the island.

    North of the island
    set:

  • Average air temperature +20°C,
  • Evening +17°C,
  • At night, the thermometer drops to +13°C,
  • Water in the ocean warms up to +20°C.
  • It is worth taking an umbrella with you as there can be 10 rainy days in a month.
    South coast
from Santa Cruz to Playa Paraiso air temperature:

  • During the day it warms up to +22°C (maximum up to +26°C),
  • Night temperature is +16°C, water temperature is +20°C.
  • Only 3 rainy days are possible for the whole month, but the rains are very short, so it makes no sense to take umbrellas here.

The number of tourists in April is growing. Also, do not forget that April is a vacation time for Spanish schoolchildren, so there are many important seniors with their spouses surrounded by their happy offspring in hotels. Be sure to book your hotel in advance.

As a rule, Easter is celebrated in this month, so every town and small village solemnly celebrates a church holiday. Traditionally, the Crusade is held on Good Friday in small towns, and in large cities, the Crusades, starting from Palm Sunday (we have Palm Sunday), last for a whole week.

At first it may seem to an uninitiated tourist that he has fallen into the Middle Ages and soon someone, or maybe he himself, will become a victim of the Holy Inquisition. But when the orchestras enter, theatrical performances begin and the long-suffering crucified Christ is carried out on a stretcher, you immediately understand that this is the most important church holiday of the entire calendar year.

May

May is conventionally considered the opening month of the tourist season on the island.

In the north of the island
    :

  • Daytime temperature keeps +21°C,
  • Evening temperature drops to +18°C,
  • Night temperature is +14°C,
  • Water warms up to +20°C.
  • During the month, the total number of rainy days can be 8.
    South coast
(in Playa de Las Americas, El Medano, Santa Cruz):

  • Daytime temperature ranges from +22°C to 30°C,
  • Night temperature is +17°C,
  • Water temperature is +20°C.
  • Precipitation in May is very rare, only during 1 day short-term rains are possible.

The beginning of May is the beginning of water activities. You can go for walks on yachts, boats and colorful fishing boats in the ocean, which can be found in abundance in the ports of Playa de los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas.

How to get there and fares:

For example, from the port of Los Cristianos you can cross to the neighboring island of La Gomera (La Gomera) by ferry.
Ferries run daily.

Depending on the type of ferry:

  • ticket price will be from 21€ to 30€,
  • travel time – from 35 minutes to 1 hour 20 minutes.

But on the northern coast, in Puerto de La Cruz, boat trips and fishing are not practiced, since the ocean in this part of the island is unpredictable.

Every year 30 May is Canary Islands Day
. Tenerife also hosts a variety of events that are inspired by local Canarian traditions.

Performances by folk groups in national costumes, theatrical performances, endless music and dances immerse you in the historical past of the Canary Islands. Numerous fairs sell exclusive products from local artisans and offer tastings.

June

An increasing number of tourists go to the shores of Tenerife.

    North of the island
, in Puerto de la Cruz:

  • Day temperature warms up to +23°C,
  • In the evening the temperature drops to +20°C,
  • At night it drops to +16°C.
  • Maximum water temperature +22°C.

    South coast

  • The daytime temperature is +24°C, but the air can warm up to a maximum of +35°C.
  • At night the temperature drops to +18°C.
  • Minimum water temperature +20°C. Precipitation does not fall.

June pleases visitors with a large number of freshly grown fruits. Experienced travelers buy gifts of nature not in supermarkets, but in the so-called fruiteries – small shops where melons, cherries, watermelons and apricots and other fruits are sold directly from plantations and orchards.

October

The weather in the first half of the month on the island almost does not differ from the weather in September, and in the second half the air and water temperature is expected to drop.

    So, in the north
, in Puerto de La Cruz:

  • During the day the air warms up to +24°C,
  • In the evening the thermometer drops to +21°C,
  • At night – up to +17°C,
  • The water in the ocean is quite warm +22° C.
  • There are 10 rainy days in a month.
    South coast
    :

  • Day +26°C,
  • Night +20°C,
  • Water temperature +23°C.
  • There are 3 rainy days during the month.

In October in Tenerife in the capital in a unique building Auditorio Tenerife
opens the opera season.
On October 12, the islanders, like all the inhabitants of Spain, celebrate the Day of the discovery of America by Columbus – a public holiday.

Only Santa Cruz hosts lavish events on this occasion. But, since this day is an official holiday on the entire island, many cafes, restaurants, clubs, water parks, zoos and shops, for example, the San Eugenio and Parque Santiago shopping centers in Las Americas, are closed.

In October you can climb to the top of Mount Teide, but since the temperature at the highest point in Spain can be below zero, the funicular will not work.

You can check the weather forecast at the hotel, and you can also get free maps showing the location of other attractions that can be reached by rental car or taxi.

November

The air temperature drops significantly in the last month of autumn. Wind gusts are especially strong.

In the north of the island the temperature is:

  • +21°C during the day,
  • +19°C in the evening,
  • +15°C at night,
  • The water temperature is +21°C.
  • There are 12 rainy days in a month.
On the south coast of the island
    air temperature:

  • Keeps at +23°C during the day,
  • +18°C at night,
  • Water temperature +21°C.
  • There are 4 rainy days, so it doesn’t hurt to take an umbrella with you and you should definitely put some warm clothes in your suitcase.

The wind is picking up, and if beach lovers no longer choose this month for their holidays in Tenerife, then windsurfers from all over the world come to El Medano, where 2 well-known clubs on the whole island offer equipment, and experienced trainers are ready to give lessons beginner athletes.

At the end of the month in Tenerife, wine festivals are held in several cities at once (for example, in Puerto de La Cruz, La Orotava and Icod de los Vinos).

Wine producers offer visitors free tastings of new vintage wines from their cellars. You even manage to taste wines from the famous Dragon Tree cellar.

In addition to wine, you can enjoy the exquisite taste of Canarian rum, sweet malvasia – sweet liqueur wine and coffee, banana, nut, blackberry and other liqueurs.

On the island you can visit the Astronomical Observatory
, which is located in Santa Cruz de Tenerife at the address: Avenida Buenos Aires, 98, Second D, 38005, Santa Cruz de Tenerife
.

The observatory offers a rare opportunity to observe an incredible number of celestial bodies and the most interesting astronomical objects of the entire universe. The pride of the observatory is a high-resolution telescope.

December

The weather in Tenerife in all winter months: December, January and February does not correspond to the definition of “winter”.
Spring reigns as always in Tenerife.

    North of the island
    air temperature is:

  • Day +19°C,
  • Evening +16°C,
  • Night +11-13°C,
  • Water temperature +21°C.
  • There are 13 rainy days.

Do not forget that piercing winds blow on the northern coast, which is unfavorable for families with small children.
Basically, all hotels have swimming pools with a water heating system.

    South
    :

  • Day temperature +22°C,
  • Night temperature +17°C,
  • Water temperature +20°C.
  • In December, there are usually 6 rainy days, so an umbrella in your suitcase will come in handy, as well as warm clothes.

But you can either completely refuse sunscreen or take it with a low degree of protection.

The most important event on the island, as in mainland Spain and in many European countries, is Christmas, which is celebrated on December 25th.

On the eve of the holiday, Christmas markets are held in Santa Cruz, La Laguna and other cities, where you can just admire the interesting products of local artisans, which they make from ceramics, leather, glass, or you can buy Canary wine, honey, sweets, cheeses and just interesting souvenirs.

You should know that Most shops are closed on December 25
, as well as all parks, water parks and museums, so you should not plan excursions on this day.

The New Year is celebrated cheerfully and solemnly, and many hotels organize an exciting show program and a gala dinner.
It is customary for the Spaniards to eat 12 grapes under the chiming clock and make one wish with each berry.
After celebrating the New Year, you should definitely go outside, as colorful fireworks are waiting for all the inhabitants of the island and guests there.

The first thing that catches your eye on approaching Tenerife, the largest among its six fellow islands in the Canary archipelago, is the snow-capped peak “de Teide”. Tenerife is located off the west coast of North Africa. Its delightful golden and gray beaches and beautiful towns create a huge contrast to the picturesque mountain villages, volcanic desert landscapes and lush green surroundings. Find out on the Tour Calendar why it is best to go to the island for a vacation in July, August, September and October.

Tourist season in Tenerife

The truly magnificent climate of Tenerife allows you to travel here throughout the year, even in winter, and not just like that, but with a bathing component. The island is replete with atypical landscapes, varying depending on its location, from immersed in fat greenery in the north to sun-kissed in the arid south. It is also attractive to the spoiled traveler with the cosmic poetics of solidified lava. In addition, Tenerife is also attractive for its stunning coastline with gorgeous beaches, banana plantations, excellent shops, restaurants and first-class hotels. Families with children come here, older people who prefer quieter resorts, as well as party youth going to noisy cities.

High season in Tenerife

While Majorca’s peak season is in July and August, Tenerife’s tourist wave only hits September and October. During these two months, the warmest water temperature of the Atlantic Ocean is observed. In addition to high prices and a large crowd of people, the high season has no drawbacks. After all, as you already understood, the weather on the island is never very hot.

Low season in Tenerife

Low season and Tenerife are incompatible concepts. But still, a slightly smaller number of tourists on the island happens from December to January and from March to April.

Beach season in Tenerife

It’s very simple: the swimming season on the island lasts all year round. And even in January, the minimum water temperature in the ocean will be 19 ° C. This is really the “blue dream” of any average resident of Russia.

Holiday season in Tenerife

At the end of every January, Tenerife hosts the music festival “De Música de Canarias”. Another highlight on the island is the “Holy Week” preceding Easter. At this time, many religious processions take place throughout the island. May is celebrated in all major cities and villages with the “Feast of the Cross”. In mid-June, at the Corpus Christi festival, locals lay out entire flower carpets on city streets. The Summer Solstice in Tenerife is associated with the feast of St. Juana – something like our Ivan Kupala with symbolic jumps over fires. August 14 and 15 are the two most significant days for all the Canary Islands, as they call the patron saint of the Canary Islands – Our Lady of Candelar. Christmas and New Year in Tenerife are, in general, home holidays. Some islanders at this time go out to the squares of the cities, have fun together, dance and enjoy the lights of colorful fireworks.

Carnival season in Tenerife

Those who find it difficult to imagine the significance and scope of the February Mardi Gras carnival in Tenerife, we will answer this way: in its pomp and scale, it is second only to the Brazilian Carnival. This real carnival fever absorbs absolutely all the cities of Tenerife, but, in particular, its capital – Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The unbridled fun begins with the selection of the Queen of the Festival, and then continues with musical concerts, street entertainment, and the consumption of traditional Canarian dishes and drinks in large quantities. The festival ends with the beginning of Lent.

Golden and gray beaches. Huge forests and large areas scorched by ejections of volcanic mass. A huge mountain with a snow-capped top… all this and much more on a beautiful and chic island right in the Atlantic Ocean. Guess what place we’re talking about? Of course, this is Tenerife, which is part of the Canary Islands. You can relax here all year round, because it is not for nothing that the island is called the island of eternal spring. But even in a world where spring is endless, there are better and worse times to relax. Today we will talk about the weather in Tenerife by months and the temperature of the water in the ocean at different times of the year. Having learned all this, you can easily choose the month when it will be best to relax here.

The best time for a beach holiday in Tenerife

As we wrote above, you can come to the island all year round and relax here on the ocean. But precisely because of the ocean, which almost never warms up, the beach season in Tenerife is not very long.
The favorite months for tourists are August, September and October. These months go in a row one after another, so you can immediately come to rest for the whole quarter.
The island is warmest in late summer and early spring. It is in August and September that the air temperature reaches its peak. During the day it is always stable +27 degrees, and at night it is a little less and +22 degrees.

The ocean off the coast of the island also shows the maximum temperature. The water these days is warmed up to +24 degrees. At this time, there is almost no wind, so the ocean is calm. Although sometimes there are waves on it that interfere with normal rest, but this happens extremely rarely.
October is the third month when holidays in Tenerife are pure bliss. At the same time, the air temperature drops slightly, but the ocean, on the contrary, becomes warmer. True, in October there is a large amount of rain, which scares away tourists. But there are plenty of sunny days. Usually it is 4-6 rainy days and 19-21 sunny days.

Monthly weather table for Tenerife

Look at the summary weather table on the island to see for yourself that you can come here at any time of the year.

The rainiest months on the island

Oddly enough, October is one of the best months for holidays and at the same time, the wettest month of the year. It is in the middle of autumn that the most precipitation falls here, and it can rain for up to six to seven days.
November, December and August can also be referred to as rainy months. But this is more likely due to the higher air temperature, and when the sun shines most actively, there are often showers and thunderstorms.

Dry months in Tenerife

From March to July there is very little rain on the island. The amount of precipitation is not high and tourists do not need to take an umbrella with them. Usually during this period of time there are 1-2 rainy days in each month. But the rains are usually quiet and the drops fall so slowly that you want to help them fall to the ground as soon as possible.

When the ocean is warmest

The Atlantic Ocean does not get warm at all. It is huge, it has many currents, including cold ones. All winter and spring, the water in the ocean is below twenty degrees Celsius. And in summer and autumn, the water gradually warms up and closer to autumn it becomes the warmest. If you like not only sunbathing, but also swimming in the water, then you should come to the island in September or October. It is during these months that the water has its maximum values.

Sunny months in Tenerife

July can be considered the sunniest month. It is in the middle of summer that there are 29-30 sunny days. Next comes March and December, and slightly inferior to them in June.
But the sun is not yet a guarantee of warm weather and warm sea. The sea has its own rules here, and the air warms up thanks to the blowing winds that blow from northern Africa in winter and spring, bringing coolness with them.

Peculiarities of holidays on the island of Tenerife

The main feature here is one: you can relax in the resorts of the island all year round. But swimming in the ocean is not always possible.
You can often see gray sand on the coast of the island. It became so because of the volcanoes that threw ash and lava here hundreds of years ago. To this day, there are dormant volcanoes in Tenerife, which sometimes remind of themselves.
Tourists are sure that it is best to relax on the gray beaches, as it is believed that there are more healing substances.
But there are enough beaches with white and yellow sand on the island. Most of them were made artificially to attract tourists. But there are also those places on the coast where emissions from the volcano did not reach.
The nature of the island is diverse and beautiful. And when you can’t swim in the ocean, then tourists are happy to go on excursions to the mountains, to the forests. They climb snow-covered mountain tops, come close to craters and view the ocean from special viewing platforms that are above the water level.
Most of the hotels are located right on the ocean, and some hang from the mountains and hang over the water. In the morning you will be awakened by the sound of the waves, and in the evening you will fall asleep to the singing of seagulls and the singing of water in the ocean.
Holidays in Tenerife are a pleasure, and we wish you to experience it for yourself.
