Current satellite and rain images for Gran Canaria Airport, Spain

The location marker is placed on Gran Canaria Airport. [More]

The real-time satellite image combines visible light during daytime with infrared radiation during nighttime. At night, the image is not dark as infrared radiation can detect temperature differences. Unfortunately, low clouds and fog are difficult to distinguish from ground temperatures and thus can be almost invisible during the night. Meteosat satellite images for Europe are updated in real-time every 5 minutes. GOES-16/GOES-17 (North & South America) and Himawari (Asia) images update every 10 minutes.

Precipitation is estimated from radar and satellites. At night precipitation estimates from satellites are less accurate than during daytime. Orange crosses mark places where lightning was detected (over Europe).

Park Operations Update — Friday, September 23, 2022

For a listing of what is open, and current hours of operation, scroll down this page.

Covid-19 Status

This week, Coconino County’s Community Level is LOW, based on the CDC classification

Current CDC COVID Community Level >

  • Grand Canyon National Park has been directed by the Department of Interior (DOI) to use Center of Disease Controls (CDC) COVID Community Levels to put in place guidance and masking requirements to protect our community, park employees, and visitors.
  • As of Thursday, September 22, 2022, the CDC reports that Coconino County is in Low Community Level.
  • As such, masks are not required in either indoor or outdoor locations, both for the public and park employees while the local community level remains in either low or medium for the South Rim of Grand Canyon, and the North Rim (excluding Tuweep —not in Coconino County).

  • Please note that this standard is flexible depending on conditions in Coconino County. It is possible that we may return to a mask requirement, under this guidance, if conditions in Coconino County return to HIGH community level. We all need to be prepared to be flexible under this new system.

  • Visitors and employees are always welcome to wear a mask if it makes them more comfortable.

We continue to work to find a consistent approach in managing and communicating this ever-changing situation related to the pandemic.

Public Health Preparation and Response

The health and safety of our visitors, employees, volunteers, and partners continues to be paramount. At Grand Canyon National Park, our operational approach will be to examine each facility function and service provided to ensure those operations comply with current public health guidance and will be regularly monitored. We continue to work closely with the NPS Office of Public Health using CDC guidance to ensure public and workspaces are safe and clean for visitors, employees, partners and volunteers.

While these areas are accessible for visitors to enjoy, a return to full operations will continue to be phased and services may be limited. When recreating, the public should follow local area health orders, practice Leave No Trace principles, avoid crowding and avoid high-risk outdoor activities.

The neighboring Havasupai reservation remains closed for tourism, and details for operational updates can be found on their website.

The CDC has offered guidance to help people recreating in parks and open spaces prevent the spread of infectious diseases. We will continue to monitor all park functions to ensure that visitors adhere to CDC guidance for mitigating risks associated with the transmission of COVID-19 and take any additional steps necessary to protect public health.

Updates about National Park Service operations will be posted on www.nps.gov/coronavirus.

As government roadblocks pile up for acequias in the burn scar, visions spring of a gran limpia

Those who rely on historic irrigation ditches in the burn scar of the biggest fire in state history continue to face government roadblocks as they try to get acequias flowing and life to return to the charred landscape.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency only recently verbally agreed to accept applications from local acequias for funding from its Public Assistance Program, which is reserved for public entities like local governments and tribes. It took months of back-and-forth to convince FEMA officials that acequias should be treated like any other public entity with by-laws, boundaries and rate-payers (known as parciantes), said Paula Garcia, director of the New Mexico Acequia Association.

And the state’s Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management has denied every request from acequia leaders for assistance in the form of backhoes, laborers, diesel fuel or help with debris clean-up.

“This whole bureaucracy is for the birds,” Garcia said as she hopped into her pickup truck for a tour of acequia damage in mid-September.

There are about 75 acequias in the burn scar of the Hermits Peak-Calf Canyon Fire. The irrigation ditches have existed for more than 200 years, nourishing homes and farms north of Las Vegas, N.M. They also channel rainwater, which can help lessen flood damage during monsoon season.

The 341,000-acre fire has been 100% contained since mid-August, but huge swathes burned at high intensity and blackened soil. These areas are highly prone to flooding, and many are adjacent to the acequias that carve through the landscape.

There have been 60 flash floods or debris flows in San Miguel and Mora Counties since May 1, according to reports compiled by the National Weather Service. The floods washed out roads, stranded motorists and destroyed homes. At least three people drowned in flash floods in the burn scar, as well.

On Sept. 13, Carlos Arellano, the mayordomo of the 2-mile Acequia Madre de Holman, stood on top of the irrigation ditch he oversees. The trench, normally 3-feet deep, was completely full of silt. It resembled a hiking path running along N.M. 518 northeast of Mora.

Northern NM residents piece together rough housing solutions when FEMA aid doesn’t come

Recently, the state Department of Transportation placed cement barriers in front of a home alongside the highway to ensure floodwaters were diverted away from the structure, which sent more debris and silt into Arellano’s acequia. It was a short-sighted solution, he said, typical of the way the many state and federal agencies have responded to the crisis.

He and about 40 other mayordomos, with Garcia’s help, applied for FEMA aid and were still waiting on word as of this week. He also sought help from the state for what he said were small but necessary costs: Diesel fuel for a backhoe he can borrow from another acequia, plus some money to pay a guy to run it.

“That’s all we really need,” he said.

The state DHSEM did not respond to calls or an email seeking comment Wednesday.

Local governments are able to file what are called “213 resource request” forms to get state aid with debris removal and other short-term needs. Garcia shared one from July for a 3-mile acequia near Mora seeking a hand crew and a backhoe, also denied.

Recently, the association convinced the County of Mora to submit requests on behalf of acequias to the state, to see if that worked instead. Those were also denied, Garcia said. The reason? Mora County doesn’t oversee acequias.

“The first reason was that they had to be submitted by a certified emergency manager from a county. And we thought, ‘Well, that’s no problem,’” Garcia said. “So he went to the county. But then when we submitted through the county, (DHSEM) said they’re not county-owned infrastructure. So, you can’t do that either.”

Recent monsoon rains flooded this patio along an acequia in the burn scar. A $133 million federal program can be used to prevent more damage but not to repair the acequia. (Photo by Patrick Lohmann / Source NM)

The state Department of Finance and Administration just announced $133 million in federal money to be spent on “imminent threats to life and property” from natural disasters, including removing debris from stream channels and culverts.

But that money isn’t going to help acequias, Garcia said, at least not directly, because the debris clogging them doesn’t pose an immediate risk to people or structures.

For example, the Acequia de la Sierra del Norte runs just north of Holman, meandering between several homes and intersecting an arroyo.

The acequia is full of silt, and it ruptured above a home, sending floodwater over sandbags into a back patio. The federal money can be spent to build a Gabion basket along the broken acequia to catch debris, because the rupture poses an imminent threat to the home.

But it cannot be spent to clear debris from or shore up the acequia, a fix that would remove any threat to the home and also safely channel some floodwater.

“See? That’s how these programs are so fragmented,” Garcia said. “There’s nothing comprehensive that’s like, ‘We’re going to come in and fix this systemic problem for you.’ It’s just Band-Aids.”

At least 10 acequias have applied for the program, Garcia said, but haven’t heard back.

After fire and flood, ash chokes acequias in northern NM

Garcia’s efforts at shaking down state and federal money come as the organization runs on fumes. It is dipping into its reserves to pay for damage assessments throughout the burn scar, plus completing a mapping project of acequias in the area.

Some acequias were flooded before they could be mapped, she said, which complicates efforts. The vast majority of acequias have suffered flood or fire damage, she said.

In the absence of federal or state help, she is wondering if she can muster a huge community effort instead.

Each spring in a normal year, volunteers gather for a limpia, a celebratory clearing of debris from local acequias. It’s normally a day-long effort with help from a dozen-or-so folks, laborers known as peones, who live along or near the ditch.

But to tackle the burn scar acequia damage, she’ll need far more than that for such a gran limpia. The plans so far are vague and no date has been set.

But she pictures the mobilization of three groups of volunteers to form hand crews. They’d at least be able to get up into the canyons and dense forest where backhoes, should they ever arrive, can’t reach.

“One (group) is the peones of the acequia, because every acequia has peones, and they’re usually the most able-bodied and strongest men in the village,” she

The second would be a veteran’s group of volunteers, known as Team Rubicon, which is on site in northern New Mexico but helping with other fire cleanup.

And the third would be a group she would call “Labradores (laborers) de San Isidro.” San Isidro is the patron saint of farmers.

“We would just put out a call for peones and create a schedule,” she said.

Much is still left to be worked out, she said, and the association and mayordomos will have to coordinate which group would come first. But she said it might become necessary, as winter looms and federal or state help doesn’t arrive, to see how many neighbors will pick up a shovel and dig out a ditch.

Even if the volunteers show up, the task ahead is daunting.

“The scope of the damage is so huge. It’s not like cleaning out in the spring,” she said. “It’s going to be a really big undertaking, reopening these acequias.”

Weather in charts

The current weather in Motegi corresponds to the preliminary forecast: it rained all night, but stopped in the morning, and thanks to very warm weather, the asphalt was almost completely dry by the start of free training. And yet, free practices in Moto2 and MotoGP were interrupted by new rains.

MOTOR RACE.RU, September 23, 2022 – According to the special JapaneseGP schedule, the Friday day in Motegi started much later than usual: the organizer took into account that some teams had to complete their pits on Thursday, so they were given more time to rest before weekend plus, it was a safety net in case of delays in logistics. And this schedule helped the teams – they were able to have a normal “acquaintance” with the asphalt of Twin Ring Motegi, renamed this year to Mobility Resort Motegi, which has not hosted world racing events for two years.

Free practices on Friday started at 7:15 Moscow time (13:15 local time). The format of free practices has also been changed: today teams have only one training session each, Moto3 and Moto2 pilots have been allocated 40 minutes each, and MotoGP – 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Motegi is warm. In the morning, despite the rain, it was already +22, and by the middle of the day it got warmer by 4-5 degrees. MotoGP free practice started in absolutely comfortable conditions at +25 degrees in the air and +28 on asphalt. The wind quickly dried up the track before the start of FP1 Moto3.

The pace in the junior class was set by the Red Bull KTM Ajo drivers, but Diogo Moreira of MT Helmets – MSI had the last word: the Brazilian brought the lap time to 1:57.252. Dennis Foggia on a Honda was 2nd on the list, local rider Ayumi Sasaki was 3rd. The gaps in the TOP-10 FP1 Moto3 turned out to be quite large, they reached 0.5 seconds – the teams were just testing the track, on which many young pilots were for the first time.

New history of MotoE: Ducati V21L prototype specification to be confirmed in a few days

The old history of the MotoE World Cup in collaboration with the Italian developer and manufacturer of electric motorcycles Energica is already a distant past. A new story begins these days: official supplier of electric motorcycles from 2023 – Ducati Corse is ready to finalize and freeze the specification of the V21L prototype after the Mugello tests.

The beginning of the Moto2 training session was dampened by light rain, so the first laps were made by the pilots of the class on the rain cut. But then the wind dried up the track and, switching to slicks, the pilots reached their usual pace in the region of 1:50.6-1:50.9. Red Bull KTM Ajo’s Augusto Fernandez and his partner Pedro Acosta, who won the Aragon Grand Prix last Sunday, were both in the top 3 in FP1, KTM drivers were accompanied by Honda Team Asia mates – Somkyat Chantra was 2nd, Ai Ogre – 4th. As in Moto3, the gaps between the top 10 turned out to be large – the top ten was within 1 second, Jake Dixon closed the list.

FP1 MotoGP started on absolutely dry pavement, but in the middle of a long session, “wet flags” were raised again over the track. The rain, however, quickly ended. The pilots returned to the pits for just a few minutes, and then went to the track without even changing tires. Fabio Quartararo dictated the pace in the middle of the session, before it began to rain, he stopped at 1:45. 807. FP1 results – at the end of the session.

The weather forecast for the weekend remains unstable, but it will be warm in Motegi: +25-27 during the day with a slight drop to the night (+17-19), so there should be no fog in the morning. There remains the threat of more or less heavy rains in the first half of the qualifying day, Saturday. But according to the current forecast, the Japanese Grand Prix has a chance to take place on 100% dry pavement: according to the latest data, cloudy, but still dry weather is expected from morning to evening!

“Bollywood” in Smolensk | Newspaper “Working Way”

The drama “Raytsentr” by Natalia Nazarova won the Grand Prix at the XV International Film Festival of Actors-Directors “Golden Phoenix”.
The high award of the Smolensk review is the second winged figurine in the collection of trophies of the talented actress and director. In 2020, Natalya won the main prize of the film forum in Smolensk for the film “A Simple Pencil”, which tells about the simple and sincere feelings of ordinary people.

С the special prize named after the poet Alexander Tvardovsky was awarded to the director of the military drama “Maria. Save Moscow” by Vera Storozheva.

“Maria. Save Moscow ”is a free retelling of the religious myth about the Great Patriotic War, which is based on oral evidence that is not confirmed by facts. The meeting of the Matrona of Moscow, canonized by the Russian Orthodox Church in 1997, with Stalin was told by the daughter of a woman whose old woman rented a room during the war.

On October 17-19, 1941, panic began in the capital. Ministries and departments were evacuated, bonfires from secret archival documents burned in the streets. It was at this decisive moment for the country that Stalin asked the old woman Matronushka:1495 “What needs to be done so that the enemy does not enter Moscow?” Iosif Vissarionovich received the answer of this amazing blind woman: “We need to raise the icon to the sky …”.

“Not only the miraculous icon helped save Moscow,” Vera Storozheva said at a meeting with Smolensk residents at the human rights film festival Stalker in June this year. – Hundreds of thousands of people defended the city, children dug trenches, militia fought to the death. All the people have risen to defend their beloved capital! But I wanted to tell the story of the girl Maria and the revival of her soul, at the same time mentioning the miracle.

At the end of the picture, the image of the inflexible NKVDeshnitsa Maria (Maria Lugovaya) acquires a shade of icon painting. The converted atheist with a baby in her arms goes off into the snowy distance towards a new life, still unaccustomed to her.

Watchdog’s film is not about saving Moscow. He quietly narrates about the miraculous salvation of the soul of Mary, the apostate.

The nominal, “Tvardovskaya” award, the organizers of the festival handed over to the producer Natalia Ivanova.

– The stage of the cinema “Sovremennik” is important and responsible for me personally, – confessed Natalya Ivanova. – Our company “Horosho Production” was awarded two main prizes of the “Golden Phoenix” in Smolensk. The first Grand Prix was awarded to the story of Vera Glagoleva “One War”, the second – the picture “Two Women”, which Vera and I filmed at the Glinka estate in the village of Novospasskoye. I will be very pleased to hand over this winged figurine, symbolizing eternal rebirth, to Vera Storozheva.

N Atalya Ivanova did not hide the fact that the meeting with the audience was marred by a tragic event.

On September 20, Sergei Puskepalis, one of the best actors in Russian cinema, artistic director of the Volkovsky Theater in Yaroslavl and a true patriot of Russia, died in a car accident. The car that Sergey drove to Moscow was bought by him for the defenders of Donbass, but collided with a truck on the highway in the Yaroslavl region.

Sergey Puskepalis played in the drama of Vera Storozheva “Maria. Save Moscow “a small but poignant role.

– Sergei for Vera Mikhailovna was the talisman of her work, – the producer of “Good Production” shared with the Smolensk people. – Storozheva asked me to convey a personal message, in every word of which sorrow.

“Seryozha and I worked together for fifteen years,” Vera writes. And it has always been a creative work, full of dedication and complicity.

Sergei proved to be a very devoted friend. It so happened that Puskepalis had to rush from Yaroslavl to Moscow at my first call to the premiere of the film “Maria. Save Moscow. He honestly worked on stage for all the other actors who did not find free time. Seryozha laughed: “My role is small, but I behave as if it were my main one.

Vera Mikhailovna says that the loss of Seryozha is irreplaceable for her: “There is no other comrade and artist like this, either in life or on the screen. A special case when neither fame nor popularity and demand spoiled the nature of a real person. It hurts and it’s hard.

Bright memory!”

“In Asilevsky” the prize “For a truthful and honest reflection of reality” was won by Igor Ugolnikov’s military drama “Learning Fruits”.

“Thank you for the recognition!” – the director thanked the Smolensk people.

The award named after composer Mikhail Glinka was awarded to the work of Kamil Abdullin, who created the original musical characterization of the heroes of Ainur Askarov’s film The Family of the Year.

“Our film crew has already taken part in the Golden Phoenix festival more than once, having been highly appreciated by the jury for the work “From Ufa with Love” (2017), – Ainur Askarov does not hide his joy in the video message. It was one of the most beautiful prizes in our “piggy bank”, and I’m glad that the number of statuettes has doubled. It’s great when the organizers of the project celebrate the composer’s contribution to the common cause. Unfortunately, this is usually not the case. “Golden Phoenix” is a completely different case, which is why it differs from other film screenings.

I’m proud of you Camille!

P named after actor Anatoly Papanov” was awarded to actress Svetlana Nemolyaeva, who performed a brilliant role in Alexander Kott’s short film “Gogol-Mogol”.

“Good weather on Deribasovskaya”, “Russian business”, “Fathers and grandfathers”, “Lonely people are provided with a hostel” …

All the films staged according to the scripts of Arkady Inin, Honored Art Worker of Russia, laureate of the Golden Ostap, Golden Calf and many other literary awards, known for skit movies and many books, you can’t immediately list!

When Arkady Inin, screenwriter, writer, satirist and jury member of the Golden Phoenix, entered the stage, the Sovremennik hall exploded with applause.

“Finally, the time has come to explain why I was asked to present the Papanov Prize,” Arkady Yakovlevich told the audience. – Anatoly Dmitrievich played in the lyrical tragicomedy of Yuri Egorov “Fathers and Grandfathers” filmed according to my script.

Papanov is an amazing, absolutely amazing, fantastic actor and a man who went through the war, was wounded, but managed to save in a catastrophe that burns out everything human, a pure soul in a person.

Incredibly humble, shy. All these current “stars” and “stars” are not suitable for him! I cannot but share with you an episode from our common history with him.

The film “Fathers and Grandfathers” was presented at a film festival in Italy. I remember sitting with Anatoly Dmitrievich in the hall, watching the Italian painting “The Key” by Tinto Brass with the beauty Stefania Sandrelli. There was a spicy scene: Stefania enters the bathroom, draws the curtain behind her. For a second, her bare shoulder flashes . ..

And this must happen: Papanov was completely sincerely upset about the demonstration of a naked female shoulder on the screen! “Shame on her! After all, people are sitting in the hall … ” . The front-line soldier could not calm down for a long time: “In our country, this is impossible!”

Think shoulder!

I resigned myself to his disappointment. The festival ended, Papanov was presented with an award for the main male role. That’s the whole trouble, that in the nomination “Main female role” they noted the “insidious temptress” Stephanie!

The awards ceremony is coming to an end, let’s go to the banquet. Anatoly Dmitrievich rears up: “I won’t go there for anything!” Began to convince him: “You have no moral right to let down the Soviet Motherland. Let’s go!”

He reluctantly agreed. As is usually the case under the law of meanness, Stefania Sandrelli and Papanov were put at the same table. I look at them and think: what will happen now?! The actor will not go into his pocket for a word, he will put everything clean. The translator introduced the artists to each other. Papanov folded his palm like a boat, extended his hand to the beautiful Italian and … said: “Tolik!”

Peppercorns and mixes from Arkady Inin

“I make all films for women and about women. Although, I must say, they are also not gifts. Once in Odessa, I was told a joke about two friends, Sofa and Sonya. Sonya says: “You know, Sofa, in our house, which is opposite, some man settled. Its window looks directly into my bedroom. We need to buy curtains urgently!”

Sofa is surprised: “Why do you need curtains?”

“He can see me naked!” “If he sees you naked, he’ll buy the curtains himself.”

I’m joking, I’m sharp, but I still adore lovely ladies, because in difficult times, we men hide behind their backs.

Here’s another story: a robber breaks into a bank and declares from the doorway that he’ll “kill” everyone now. Grabs the cashier: “You first! What is your name?” – “Zina” – “No, I won’t “wet” you, my mother’s name is Zina.”

Pounces on the guard: “And I’ll kill you for sure! What’s your name?” – “Kolya. But my mother calls me Zina … “.

and the Sculptor Sergey Konenkov Change Award was given to the director of the film Promises Lana Vlady. Andrey Noskov, the director of the comedy “The Clown is Me!”, received the most cheerful award of the film festival – Nikulin’s.

“I will return to St. Petersburg with a piece of Smolensk,” admitted actor Vadim Zhuravlev, whose skill graced Noskov’s film. “Now we have a great incentive to work further and create good, kind films.”

The best producers, who proved their right to the prize named after patron Maria Tenisheva, had a hand in the creation of Danila Kozlovsky’s short film “Buy”.

The most popular prize, established in honor of the People’s Artist of the USSR Lyudmila Kasatkina, determines the audience vote. This year, Smolensk residents voted with their hearts for Igor Kopylov’s painting “Sky”.

The Yuri Gagarin Prize awarded Tatiana Kolganova’s film “Delayed Happiness Syndrome” as the best “Debut” of the year.

“Yuri Alekseevich – the first person to conquer outer space, – an actress-director shares her joy with the Smolensk people. – I, having shot my debut film, made my first exit into the cinematic space. Insanely proud that my firstborn is so highly rated!”

In it is known that the largest number of films are made in Bollywood. In third place is Hollywood. Then which country occupies an intermediate position in the top three? Nigeria! They say that the estimate of many Nigerian films does not exceed 1 thousand dollars, the shooting principle is called van tausend movie. Any art is always an author and a viewer. How they meet is irrelevant. The main thing is that they met today in Smolensk!

At the closing of the festival, another award was presented, indicating a change in the status of the film forum in Smolensk. The organizers of the project highly appreciated the Indian film director Raaj Rajeshwaran’s “Triangle” presented in the international panorama.

“Triangle” is my first film that I show in Smolensk. Thank you for the warm welcome”, – thanked the Smolensk cinematographer, who received a special prize of the “Golden Phoenix”.

“The diamond of the Russian land Smolensk deserves to be a city that will prove the importance of the film forum that has become international, – said People’s Artist of Russia Vsevolod Shilovsky. – “Golden Phoenix” will slightly open the doors of France, Germany, Italy! It will be, I believe!”

A special prize from the Guild of Film Directors of Russia was awarded to a bright, touching and clean family-friendly film by Alexander Galibin “Marusya Foreva!”

“Golden Phoenix” is dear to me, – Alexander said in a video message. – This is the festival where I received my very first award for directing and it warmed my heart. And a very special feeling when colleagues encouraged your work!”

“There was no desire to pause the festival” — Amurskaya Pravda

“Amur Autumn” is preparing new surprises for its fans

Amur Autumn

For 20 years, there has not even been a desire to “put the festival on pause” or “get out of the race”, although there are always difficulties, the permanent president of Amur Autumn Sergey admitted to Amurskaya Pravda Novozhilov. He spoke about the most precious moments of the film and theater festival and revealed the secret plans for the 21st Autumn.

— Sergey Vladimirovich, were these 20 years difficult?

– Yes, there were a lot of moments when I wanted to quit everything, because there are always a lot of problems. But it’s been twenty years! This is a whole life, and it is impossible to give it up so easily. Everything was here: both bad (including the accident), and a lot of good. But there are so many more good ones! And difficulties, well, they only harden.

– We see how the festival is developing, new formats, new faces, new blocks in the programs appear. And what is the most precious thing for you in these twenty years?

– I will never forget the fifth festival. We had just moved to the hall of the Public and Cultural Center and Lyudmila Gurchenko, Gina Lollobrigida, Nina Urgant and Alexander Domogarov, Irina Muravyova and Valery Zolotukhin, Vladimir Etush and Alexander Galibin were standing on the stage at the closing ceremony at the same time. It really was a Starship Trooper. I remember Julius Gusman also said to me: “It is impossible to see something like this in Moscow at the same time on the stage!” It was our first anniversary autumn. And I will never forget the twentieth. For the first time, we were able to combine the festival and the Big Tour program, namely the arrival of the Vakhtangov Theater. This is without any doubt an event for the Far East region and for the Amur region.

Accordingly, this imposed on us very serious obligations and responsibility, how to put it all together. We were afraid: “What if the audience doesn’t go to private performances?” But the combination turned out to have an unexpected effect: it turned out to bring up to the set bar and entrepreneurial projects. There are also classical plays, such as The Queen of Spades, for example, and an inverse play based on Chekhov – an interesting project, and The Dowry, based on the classics, although an avant-garde production.

— Was the twentieth autumn also remembered by other new stories?

– Yes, there is a competition for unfinished projects. Very interesting story, I think it will continue. The jury chose from those whose work has not yet been completed and who needs help, including financially. A new art object PUSHKARЁV ART GALLERY has appeared. I am very happy about this! This is such an experimental platform, and it’s good that it appeared, because the viewer needs to be offered something new. Surprise – and it is not easy. But I hope we succeed, although it can be difficult.

— Then, perhaps, there are already plans for the 21st festival?

– There are secret plans, but I never talk about them. ( smiles. ) There are thoughts, especially anniversaries for next year: the centenary of the birth of Leonid Gaidai, the anniversary of Valery Priemykhov. So consider, I have already told you two stories. Moreover, they are dear to the Amur people and very important.
