Autumn Weather in Mallorca and why this is the best time to visit

Find out about Autumn weather in Mallorca to help you plan your holiday to the island.

In this guide know what to expect weatherwise at the beach, as well as sea temperatures in Mallorca, if it will rain, the likelihood of experiencing a dramatic thunderstorm as well as what to pack.

September and October are also considered by many as the best months to visit, so find out more about this below.

The holiday season on the island runs until 31st October when many hotels, restaurants and excursions will close for the season.

That’s not to say all tourism closes down in Mallorca for the winter. There is plenty happening on the island from November onwards, so please check out this article here.

But one of the main questions holidaymakers ask on the Mallorca Under the Sun Facebook Group is about the Autumn weather in Mallorca.

So here is the ultimate guide as to what you can expect weatherwise if you are planning your Autumn holiday.

Contents Quick Links

Why Autumn weather makes this the best time to visit Mallorca

Autumn is considered absolutely the best time to visit Mallorca.

As families return to their home countries and children return to school, the atmosphere on the island changes.

Mallorca is a lot quieter in the Autumn and you will notice this in the hotels and on the beaches.

And with cooler temperatures, this is the best time to go sightseeing on the island.

Summer can be a very unpleasant month for sightseeing but when it’s cooler, you can discover Soller for example, in a much more comfortable way than you would do in the Summer.

The same could be said for sightseeing in Palma as well as exploring the many other towns and monuments around the island.

What is the weather like in September in Mallorca?

September and October are very different months weatherwise in Mallorca. The weather in September can be described as a hangover from the Summer.

In Autumn 2022, we entered the month with very high temperatures (experiencing highs of 32 to 35 degrees Celcius).

The nighttime temperatures have been extremely hot and muggy for this time of year, and we have been struggling to sleep in highs of 28 degrees Celcius.

And I am apologising in advance for any grumpy locals you may encounter around the island. This is due to lack of sleep and the never-ending perpetual heat (not to mention working for the entire summer without a break.)!

However, thunderstorms are common in September, so don’t expect this great weather to last.

Be prepared if you are coming out in September to witness spectacular thunder and lightning storms.

The disruption caused by getting around the island can be temporarily immense, with localised flooding and driving made difficult and dangerous.

If you are driving, please watch your speed and watch for others around you.

Better still leave your car parked and do something else for the day.

But the good news is that this stormy weather rarely lasts.

In fact, you can experience a tremendous thunderstorm and then see the sun come blazing out a few hours later, allowing you to head back to the pool or beach.

What is the weather like in October in Mallorca?

October can be very similar weatherwise to September, but it will be cooler and you will notice a season change in the air.

Highs experienced during October are usually 24 or 25 degrees Celcius, but this can feel a lot hotter in the sunshine.

On a cooler day, expect highs of around 19 to 21 degrees Celcius.

S’Illot beach, Mallorca in October

With fewer daylight hours, as Summertime draws to an end, the temperatures will be more bearable but you will be spending less time on the beach.

You could also experience some rainy days too, so make sure you have a wet weather plan to make the most out of your stay.

If you’re struggling to find activities, check out these Get Your Guide activities here:

Autumn weather in Mallorca – the storms!

If you are visiting Mallorca, please take care if you are outside during a thunderstorm.

The thunderstorms in Mallorca, while being spectacular to watch, can also be a danger to life.

If you are on the beach and you can see lightning, leave your beach umbrella in the sand, leave the beach quickly and seek shelter indoors or in your hire car.

Do not be tempted to take your beach umbrella with you as this can easily act as a lightning conductor.

If rain is forecast then make a wet weather plan for that day.

Maybe visit Palma (although you may also find every other tourist planning the same thing, so bus stops can be extremely busy and car parks fill up quickly).

Check out this article here to find things to do in the rain in Mallorca.

When to go to the beach in the Autumn in Mallorca

During September expect to be going to the beach early and staying late. The early hours prove a much cooler start to the day and a great time to go to the beach if you can’t bear the high temperatures.

However, by October, you will probably not head to the beach before 10:30 and early mornings are a lot cooler.

On a sunny day, the sun will be warm enough to sunbathe. However, it may also be a little windier than in the summer months.

You will probably then leave the beach at the latest around 17:00 depending on the temperature.

You will notice to that the sea will be at times a little choppier in Autumn than during Summer when the Mediterranean sea is like a pond.

During Autumn in Mallorca, the effects of the storms also can affect the sea too, so if you are travelling with very small children, please keep an eye on them in the water.

This change though is great for surfers who will finally be able to head back to some of the beaches to catch some waves.

Surf beaches in Mallorca include Playa Palmira in Peguera, Cala Mayor beach and the beach in Son Serra de Marina on the East Coast.

Is 21 Degrees Celsius Warm enough to sunbathe?

Yes, it is! In fact, 21 degrees in the sunshine and out of any wind will feel a lot warmer.

So make sure you find a sheltered beach such as Cala Mayor, and the beaches and coves in Illetas.

However in October, you will most likely find temperatures on a sunny day to be a little warmer than 21 degrees.

If it is 21 degrees, and you are either on a beach or on your balcony, then make sure you wear sunscreen because it’s perfectly possible to get sunburn at any time of year, not just in the Summer.

Autumn Sunrise and Sunset times in Mallorca

In mid-September, the sun will rise at around 7:30 and set at around 20:00.

By mid-October, this changes to the sun rising at 8:00 and setting at 19:10.

With these sunrise and sunset times, you can plan roughly how many hours of daylight you can enjoy and also when to watch the sun go down.

October is the start of the really amazing sunrises and sunsets that we experience on the island, so my advice is to make the most of your time here and get out early in the morning or find a nice spot for the sun to go down in the evening.

What to pack for Autumn in Mallorca

I would always recommend bringing a cardigan or light long-sleeve top to Mallorca on holiday whether it is Spring, Summer or Autumn.

As well as needing some kind of covering on the overly airconditioned aeroplanes, you will experience lower temperatures at some point during your stay, whether it is at night, or if the day is rainy.

Take a hoodie to the beach with you in the Autumn. As I mentioned before, Autumn can feel a little winder, so if you swim, you will feel a lot cooler when you come out of the water.

In early September, it is unlikely you will need to wear a long sleeve top, jacket or jeans in restaurants in the evenings.

In October, the evenings will be cooler, so I would recommend bringing something warm to wear.

What’s the sea temperature like in Autumn in Mallorca

The effects of the long Summer days mean that the sea temperature in Mallorca in Autumn is warm. It’s around 27 degrees Celsius.

In fact, it’s a lot warmer to swim in Mallorca in September than it is in May and June.

The storms do, however, cool down water temperatures slightly from one day to the next, but it is still pleasant to swim all the way into November in Mallorca.

By October, the sea temperature is around 22 degrees Celsius, which has been made cooler by the occasional rain shower or storm blowing through the island.

A quick word of warning. If it does rain very heavily, avoid swimming in the sea for at least 24 hours as pollution levels will temporarily go up.

This is because of the rain pouring from the streets into the sea.

If it does rain heavily, you will also notice the temperature of the hotel swimming pool to be a lot cooler too.

With the high temperatures we are experiencing in Autumn 2022, this is not such a bad thing.

How do I find out more about Autumn weather in Mallorca

We no longer accept posts in the Mallorca under the Sun Facebook group asking about the weather forecast.

This is because it’s so easy to find out yourself. Either take a look at your mobile phone weather app and select the destination in Mallorca where you are travelling to.

Or Google “weather in Alcudia“, “weather in Palmanova“, or wherever you are staying.

This is what you will see:

This search will give you an idea of temperature and if you click on the tabs for precipitation (rain) and wind, you can get an even better insight.

Another great website to use is Accuweather which will give you an extended weather forecast.

Windguru is worth checking out if you’re looking to windsurf or kite surf.

If you choose to come on holiday to Mallorca during September and October, the Autumn weather in Mallorca will be very different to what you would experience in the Summer.

However, many would say it is much more pleasant and will make an amazing Mallorca holiday.

Now, due to smog in Moscow, the embassy is closed, and the visa deadline has been moved to 9September. So they will arrive to me not earlier than the end of September.
Question: How is the weather in Mallorca at the end of September – beginning of October? Or where would you advise to fly for 5 days with your parents at this time? It is necessary that it is warm and you can swim in the sea …
Canary Islands maybe? Or need to Tunisia-Egypt??

Travel Tips

Popular flight routes

Popular flight routes are particularly frequently used connections from one airport to another. Since demand determines supply, very popular connections are served by a number of airlines. Therefore, it is always worth comparing prices, because when competition is high, prices will usually drop. Therefore, the chances of finding a cheap flight on a particularly popular flight route are very high. For example, one of the top flight routes is the connection from London Heathrow to the USA. If you look for flights here, you will find numerous offers by a great number of different airlines. Flights from Manchester airport are also very popular, whether to Paris or to sunnier climes such as Spain. For some flight routes, it may come as a surprise at first that these in particular count as popular routes, such as the Manchester to Antalya route. No surprise, however, is the route from London to Paris, which is used by business travellers and holidaymakers alike. Sun-seekers will find plenty of cheap deals from London to Malaga Airport in Spain. Portugal’s capital Lisbon and Barcelona in Spain are further popular destinations, whether from London or Manchester Airport for example. Airlines also compete for customers on flights from Edinburgh or those to Bangkok for instance. The route from London to Lima in Peru is also popular.

Filter options when searching for flight routes

When searching for flight routes, there is the option of looking for an outbound flight or a return flight. If a user wishes to fly with a specific airline, this can be selected so that results from other airlines are excluded from the outset. Those who do not wish to change flights can choose the option “direct flights only”. Flights with one or more stops will then not be listed in the search results. Flexible customers are best off searching not only for routes from one airport to another, but in general for flights from the country of departure, such as the United Kingdom, to the destination country, such as Spain, Greece, Italy or Thailand. This way, many more results are displayed and the customer may even get a flight for a much lower price.

International ranking of the most popular flight routes

Incidentally, around 160 people worldwide use an aeroplane every second, with certain routes far ahead in a global comparison. In the international ranking of the most popular flight routes of the World Air Transport Association (IATA), the most popular flight route worldwide is Hong Kong – Taipei, and most of the top routes are also within Asia. Outside Asia, the flight route from JFK Airport in New York to London Heathrow Airport is one of the most frequently used. In the United Kingdom, Spain and Portugal count amongst the most popular internationL destinations. Popular flight routes from the UK also go to Turkey, Ireland and Amsterdam.

TOP 10 definitivo [2023] ❤️

¡Vas a flipar!.

¿Cómo llegar a Gran Canaria?

Mejores playas Gran Canaria: Las Canteras

Mejores playas Gran Canaria

  • Patalavaca
  • Las Burras
  • Playa de Amadores
  • Anfi del Mar
  • Las Canteras
  • Puerto Rico
  • Melenara

      Fab place!!

Visited here twice during our recent holiday whilst staying in the hotel down the way.
Was hands down the nicest food we had whilst in the resort, the curries are amazing, as is the Lamb dinner on a Wednesday.
Lovely staff , great prices ,will visit again if we return to the area.
      Can definitely recommend.

      Late lunch at Apache

Visited bar Apache today, the resort of Es Cana seems very quiet still and things are just getting going for the season. We were greeted by the friendly staff who were very accommodating. My partner and I ordered the tapas we picked four dishes between us. We went for spinach and goats cheese croquettes, spring roll with sweet chilli dipping sauce, KFC chicken and potatoes bravas. All of the food came piping hot and the portion size was massive plenty for the two of us. The majority of the food was frozen but was cooked really well and tasted very fresh. The only slightly disappointing thing was the sauce with the potatoes bravas was not quite what I was expecting. I expected a thick chunky sauce with vegetables in it (this could be my misconception). Otherwise, the food way fab and very reasonably priced. The menu hosts an array of cocktails on BOGOF however they are not on at the present time, the waiter advised that they will be on in May. On the whole really enjoyed the change of scene from our hotel restaurant and the food was really nice. There were lots of English people in enjoying the food and reasonably priced drinks.

We went on the morning tour to the church and then 3 beaches. 10 minutes stop at the church was more than enough time. We went to 2 beaches for half hour each and a fishing cove for 20 minutes. Maybe it would be better to spend longer at just one beach as both were down steep hills. As my husband has heart problems we didn’t bother with the 2nd one as he’d struggled on the first so spent the time having a drink in the bar at the top.
The commentary was interesting although sometimes lost in the noise of accelerating up hill. It was interesting to see some different parts of the island and worth the 20 euros each.

      Reliable car hire

I totally agree we researched loads of car rental places. They were excellent car clean paid the extra cost of 9euro for full inclusive and no higher deposits taken. Simular companies quoted over 1000 euro deposit to be held against card.

What to see and do in Es Canar in 2023

Do you feel like getting to know a fascinating and very peculiar place on the Ibizan eastern coast? Es Canar is that place, a very popular small town among tourists, ideal for an unwinding holiday but also, to experience intense emotions and enjoy its outgoing mood.

Besides the beach, perfect for spending the day with the children, what really attracts thousands of curious onlookers is its hippy market. So, make sure to write it down on your to-do list because it is something you cannot pass up!

    Booking.com

    How to get there

By car, Es Canà is 30 minutes from Ibiza Airport and less than 10 minutes from the town of Santa Eulària des Riu.

    What to see

Es Canar is a tourist destination that offers an ample variety of places of interest. Touring the streets is a real pleasure anyone can experience. Some of the most interesting places in this charming town are the following:

    The harbour

What you see on one side of Es Canar beach is a small fishing harbour, owner of spectacular views. This is the destination for several ferries arriving from Santa Eulària harbour, offering this transportation option that allows the faithful savouring of the sea while on the move.

Look at the beautiful boats embellishing this and other harbours on the island: they are called llaüts and they are typical Balearic boats, relics that you will surely want to immortalize with a photograph. Actually, you can enjoy a trip sailing one of them along the coasts of Ibiza and feel closer to a magnificent sunset like no other.

    Punta Arabí Market

Es Canar is just the place for those who love shopping and a variety of products can be found and browsed in the different markets here. The most iconic and fascinating of all is the hippy market in Punta Arabí, a magical and popular place where people from all over the world come to take a look and buy. This is a must-know event when visiting Ibiza and it is open every Wednesday in summertime.

    Las Dalias Hippy Market

We can also wander around another popular hippy market taking place every Saturday, Las Dalias Hippy Market, a colourful and cheerful market that creates the perfect atmosphere for you to browse and find quality products at very good prices. For instance, you can find jewellery made of silver from India.

You can also run your eye over a large amount of clothing, footwear, handmade leather goods and impressive works of art.

    Beaches

Fine white sand, crystal clear waters, palm trees, delicious cocktails, postcard sunsets, a unique and cheerful atmosphere … these are just some of the wonders we will find on Es Canar beach, the supreme beach in this area. Moreover, there are a lot of activities for visitors to do, both day and night, together with a spectacular selection of beach bars where to taste different dishes or relish a cold drink while embracing the sound of the waves in the sea.

Another magnificent beach we would like to mention is Cala Nova, located just 10 minutes on foot from the previous beach. It has kept its natural charm and is the favourite place for surfers. It has great beach bars serving fine food and numerous beach clubs, so fun is above all guaranteed here.

    What to do

There is a wide range of entertainment and leisure activities for us to enjoy the wonderful town of Es Canar.

    Water sports

Es Canar beautiful beaches are the perfect setting for parasailing, scuba diving, surfing and windsurfing. In addition, thanks to the fishing harbour in the area, we have guaranteed access to boat trips and ferries, so that we can live the experience of an unmatched sunset by the sea. In fact, this is one of the best ways to get to know the Ibizan coast, so we cannot brush this opportunity aside.

    Tourist train

This train offers a magnificent 3-hour tour, during which we can visit the historic town of San Carlos and other interesting places in the area. The train departs from Club Cala Blanca hotel in Es Figueral. It makes a first stop at Punta Arabí Market and another one in Cala Nova. It is an exciting and different way to get to know the northern part of the island, forgetting about driving and learning interesting facts about towns and landscapes on our way.

There are other routes running from Santa Eulària, Portinatx or Cala Llonga that we might be interested in.

    Where to eat

Needless to say that there are a lot of restaurants in the area, so the local cuisine is very assorted and it will satisfy all kinds of tastes and demands. International dishes, Mediterranean, Ibizan and Italian food are all cooked and served here. Many restaurants have beautiful facilities that integrate perfectly with Es Canar landscape and atmosphere. On the beach, several beach bars offer good food, so you don’t have to leave in order to eat.

Fortunately, there are places to eat for all budgets and tastes.

There are also supermarkets in the area in case you prefer to cook.

    Where to lodge

There are many hotels available for you to stay no matter how you travel, on your own, with a partner or with the whole family. Many of the hotels here have magnificent sea views and a swimming pool, spa and a wide range of entertainment activities for all their guests.

It is also possible to rent 1 or 2-bedroom apartments, which is a great option for families; some come with all-inclusive service.

Accommodation is varied and for all budgets, from rural hotels to luxurious private holiday homes. So we only need to choose the option that best fits our holiday requirements and get ready to enjoy a magnificent holiday in Ibiza, a place where we will live one of the best experiences of our life in a holiday paradise.

    Family Busy Beach

    Aug. 2018 • For two

Beach equipped with everything you need – clean sand, showers, bars, shops. But in essence, that’s all. No zest, no beautiful scenery. Among all the beaches of Ibiza, this one turned out to be better only than the beach – in the city of San Antonio.

We were on the beach out of season, in May. I liked it, there are few people, the sea is clean, beautiful, turquoise, like everywhere else in Ibiza. They turned on the music from their speakers, but the foreigners located next door demanded to turn it off. A good place.

My fifth visit to Es Cana from 1st street in 1980. The resort is generally more built up than then, but I still enjoyed my week here.
The beaches in and around the resort are beautiful. The sea was a bit cold in October though. Warm in summer. Lots of restaurants and shops. Bars have disappeared over the years and now it’s more hotels and restaurants. Serves all nationalities. nine0003

    Oct. 2019 • For two

I love this beach, it’s great for swimming here. Lots of different places to eat. We visited in October and swam every day. The water is a little chilly this time of year, but still pleasant. Many families with young children seem to be ideal for children. Sunbeds cost 6 euros, as do umbrellas. Recommend

Playa es Cana is located about 5 km from the city of Santa Eulalia. There is a bus between them about every 20 minutes, or you can take a ferry around the coast. It has a first-class and safe beach with many water facilities, as well as hotels, several bars and good restaurants. Slightly from the beach (20 minutes walk) is the Hippie Market. nine0003

If the Costa Adeje are generally more quiet and suitable to a family vacation, the Playa de las Americas – a lively place. Especially this difference significantly closer to midnight. Costa Adeje after ten in the evening preparing for sleep, and the inhabitants of Las Americas go for a walk, to show themselves and others to see.

Veronicas – strip just west of the hotel Sol Tenerife on the border with Costa Adeje. It has a bad name “hot spot.” Here heap poke a few dozen bars and discos, much loved British youth.
Happy is boring a 200-meter street. But if you get on the Veronicas at night, it would seem that it is not the end: at every step bars, discos and souvenir shops. Air breathing holiday, though there is never ending New Year.

But closer to midnight here from all the neighboring dormitories are beginning to flock gaggle of drunken loafers unkempt appearance. In the morning, they crawl back (those who could still crawl), shaking the sleeping quarters of squeals and screams.

Secondly, the company of drunk Englishmen though socially dangerous at first glance, in fact, are not inclined to conflicts on its own initiative.

And thirdly, the scale of the disaster is local. Night noise from Veronicas really interferes only inhabitants hotels Sol Tenerife and Gala.

As for the level of institutions on the Veronicas, then in the majority, they fully comply with the visitors: unpretentious and without frills. Frequenter of the metropolitan nightlife seen upset. Not yet Ibiza.

If you are looking for something more than a jolly student disco – come in to “Tramps” hour of the night, which begins its work on the Veronicas street after midnight. The best thing in these parts, and the public more decently.

From world-famous DJs to intimate bars by the sea, nightlife in Tenerife will have something for everyone on a night out. Here are some of the most popular venues:

    • Tramps Tenerife, Starco, Playas de las Americas: Open 9pm to 6am. World class DJs, themed parties every day of the week, Dance and R&B across its three main rooms.
    • Sugareef Tenerife Terrace & Club, Veronica Strip, Playas de las Americas: Open 9pm to Late. Resident DJ James Hanbury plays the best of chart, R&B, hip hop and dance during the week. Themed weekend parties.
    • Linikers Bar, Staco, Playas de las Americas: 12pm – Late. Run by the famous Liniker family. Linikers Bars are well liked by British revellers due to the daily food and drink promotions and live screenings of football at the weekends.

The famous Veronicas Strip, heart of Playa de Las Americas. The party capital of Tenerife!

    Tenerife – The Straight Night

Before heading to Tenerife, it was agreed that one night we would do a straight night. Come Thursday, after 2 days of girls pleading for us to come drink at their bars, we finally agreed to go to one of the bars.

We ended up in Jumping Jacks, where the promotion was buy one get one free, plus three free shots with your first round. Straight away, I knew I was getting pissed that night. How pissed, was another question.

So after downing our free shots, we sat down at the nearest table and the enjoyed the DJ, who reminded me of Mighty Mick at Churchills, taking the piss out of everyone.

He was pure entertainment and mainly took the piss out of a group of lads. Well, they looked young enough to still be at school. And one of them was trying to be a Ronan Keating look-a-like.

The DJ had also decided to play ‘Name the theme tune’. If you got it right you got a free shot. If it was wrong, you had to do a forfeit.

The first forfeit was a group of five lads (mainly the school boys) having to dance to YMCA. Trust me, they knew all the moves.

The second forfeit ended up being me. Well, I did give the wrong answer after he told us the correct one!!!

So, I had to down a bottle of beer without using my hands. So I clenched the bottle with my teeth and started to down the drink in one. With everyone cheering me one, I succeeded. Of course, I wouldn’t want to waste any alcohol now would I?

Turned out I am the only the second person to succeed that forfeit. Which surprised me because I thought it was easy. Not bad for a gay is it?

After several more drinks and shots, I was steaming and Steve had had enough of the bar. So, we headed off to Gemini’s to finish the night off.

After saying ‘no’ to gong to another bar, a girl started shouting things about us being gay. Which was supposed to offend us, but it did the total opposite. I was flattered she noticed and cared to make a comment.

I couldn’t remember walking to Gemini’s, but when I got there I noticed that I no longer had my wallet. So in a pissed up state I headed back to Jumping Jack to see if it was handed in.

Now this was a meaningless exercise as it was more likely to have been stolen. Although, I got to have the last laugh as it was worthless. There was no money in it cause I remembered taken out my last €10 and putting it in my pocket.

The credit card had not been activated. Though earlier, I was cursing myself because I forgot to do that.

The bank cards were no use in the country unless you knew my PIN numbers. Plus, there was no money in the accounts anyway.

And the Boots Advantage, WHSmith and Sainsburys cards were of no use abroad.

The only two things that I am pissed about losing are my wallet and my driving license, but hey they are replaceable.

So, I staggered back to Gemini’s to continue partying the night away.

From that night, Steve and I decided that we had to avoid the Veronica Centre like the plague for the rest of the holiday. This was to be a difficult task, as the entrance to the hotel lead to the centre.

We stood on our balcony overlooking the centre and thinking of ways to avoid the bar beggars, but then we would scrap the idea once we noticed it wouldn’t work.

The final option we could think of was to head in the opposite direction, then head to the beach and walk back via the beach front. We hoped there wouldn’t be anybody else on the other side of Veronica’s asking for us to go into their bar. This was a success and the route that we followed every night we went out.

      Very good

Everything is good, but I would not go to this hotel for the second time Well located pool – there is never a wind and all the sunbeds are always in the sun – excellent for sunbathers ! The beach is 5-7 minutes walk, it’s close. nine0006

The entrance to the hotel is somewhere on the side, you won’t find it right away, but there is no sign. The hotel itself is located on some not very interesting street, it immediately spoils the whole look and mood

      Not bad

Sufficiently large room, the room and the hotel are clean, there are many cheap and quite tasty eateries for breakfast/lunch nearby

The street on which the hotel stands is kind of dirty . The pool is very cold, even in winter it is colder than the ocean. We were in winter, Troya beach was about 10 minutes on foot, but it was all the time with waves, so we went to las vistas beach – and this is already about half an hour. nine0006

      Very good

Arrived at the hotel 3 hours before the check-in time – they provided us with a luggage room and prepared the room within an hour. The kitchen had everything you need – a two-burner stove, an oven , refrigerator, dishes. We booked a room for four, but there were 5 beds. In general, the fact exceeded expectations.

Twice withdrew money from the card when paying. Initially, there was a communication failure, and then a receipt came out with the word “dublicato”. We were told that the operation did not go through and was offered to use another card. As a result, both cards were written off. But when we were sure of this and asked the staff to clarify in their bank – whether there were receipts from us twice – they went to a meeting, in the morning of the next day they transferred the money back. It’s bad that the room is not cleaned twice a week. we cooked ourselves, a lot of garbage accumulated. nine0006

      Excellent

friendly staff, 5 minutes from the ocean, large room with two
bedrooms, large loggia, everything you need (refrigerator, coffee maker,
kettle, toaster, stove with oven, kitchen utensils, etc.),
regular cleaning. There are only small grocery stores nearby.
who only have the essentials. if you want to eat in
room, then the nearest large supermarket is 1 km from the hotel. from big
      supermarkets select:
      * MERCADONA – near Las Vistas beach, 1.5 km from the hotel (C. C Mencey, C/ Ramona Martín Artista, S/N, 38650 Los Cristianos, Santa Cruz de Tenerife),
      * SPAR – Calle Cuba, Playa de las Americas, in front of the Acapulco Hotel.

the windows faced the side of the pool and there was a smell every night
sewerage. I had to close the windows, otherwise I couldn’t sleep.
complained at the Reception and after the answer was received that everything is in order in the hotel
OK, and the smell is most likely coming from the Las Americas sewage treatment plant,
located a few kilometers from the hotel. the day was all right
the smell is only at night at certain times and only from the side of the pool.
I also did not like that there are many
youth nightclubs. there was no music from the bars, the only thing
every evening from 22.00 to 01.00 a singer from the restaurant sang very loudly
“…. Americas” and disturbed sleep. pay TV, pay internet. nine0006

            Feb. 2019 • For two

On the way from Los Gigantes to Puerto somewhere on the serpentine we saw an aloe cosmetics shop. We went in, bought a lot))) Actually, it’s expensive, I’ll tell you. For example, hygienic lipstick 6 euros, face cream (middle price category) with hyaluronic acid and aloe 55 euros, aloe oil 17 euros …. shampoos 10 each ….) But it captivates that this is a local thing) And also me gave a bush of aloe to plant at home))) drove and planted! Now I have aloe from Tenerife growing in my house)))

Tourist shop 2016 • Traveling alone

Just dropped in while walking around the beautiful city of Puerto Cruz. An ordinary store, of which there are many on the island. The choice of circles is large, from cheap to expensive. You can try and smell it. Everything seems to be not bad, but the prices are clearly designed for tourists. In many other stores you can buy cheaper. But it is quite possible to pick up what you need. nine0003

Aloe Vera creams made in Puerto 2016 • Traveling alone

Came to this store after reading about it on TA. The products are the same as in the online store, a friendly saleswoman who speaks several languages. I bought several samples of their products, you can see in the photo. From the purchased: I liked the face and body cream, very good skin hydration, pleasant fresh smell. I didn’t like the cream in a glass jar with aloe and calendula on a vaseline basis for very dry skin, the smell of vaseline and not very good moisturizing (tried to use for the skin of the feet). No burn gel yet (never needed!),

            Jan. 2019 • Traveling alone

I went there twice. Since I heard a lot of good things about Aloe Vera and saw the farm on the way to the Pyramids of G Mar, I thought it was worth a visit. The young lady (sorry I forgot her name) was very nice, friendly and funny. I told her about my skin problems and she recommended pure aloe vera gel and I bought a liter. She asked me to come back after I shaved and used the product. I came back two days later when I was back in the area and it took her a while to get to know me :). This time I also saw a great demo from Claudia who is also very nice. She even speaks Dutch, which is my native language. Highly recommended! Next time I’m in Tenerife I will definitely be back. nine0003

We stopped here as part of our tour and it was a lovely little museum that was informative about the healing properties of aloe vera. Our guide was interesting to listen to and well informed. They give you a piece of aloe to experience what they are talking about and there is a shop at the end that sells a variety of products from lip balm to lotion for arthritis and tired muscles. Great products! nine0003

Aloe Vera Gel for Skin: Benefits, How to Use

Here’s how to make Aloe Vera Gel at home and how it’s good for skin health.

Aloe vera has been used for cosmetic and medicinal purposes since antiquity. The juice of the plant (or rather, a jelly-like gel) was used to heal wounds, burns, improve digestion by the inhabitants of Ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome. And women knew several recipes for face and hair masks with aloe vera. And today the benefits of this succulent are invaluable. You can always purchase a remedy with this ingredient or prepare it yourself directly from the leaves, of course, provided that the plant has been registered in your home for a long time. nine0003

            Contents of the article

Do not self-medicate! In our articles, we collect the latest scientific data and the opinions of authoritative health experts. But remember: only a doctor can diagnose and prescribe treatment.

            The value of aloe vera

There are about 500 species in the Aloe genus, but aloe vera has the greatest value. The inhabitants of the Arabian Peninsula, Africa, South America, as well as the Canary Islands and Madeira were the first to discover its use. But the population of Europe got acquainted with the succulent a little later, with the development of trade routes. Currently, the plant is cultivated all over the world, including as a green pet. nine0003

But sometimes there is confusion. For aloe vera, they often take a different form – aloe arborescens, aka agave. Its juice also has a healing effect, but the scope is not so wide. Basically, this succulent “specializes” in the healing of cuts and burns. But the spectrum of action of aloe vera is many times more extensive.

And this is not surprising, because the composition of aloe gel, which is hidden under the delicate skin of dense leaves, includes:

            • amino acids, including those that the human body does not produce on its own; nine0165
            • vitamins B, A, C and E;
            • hyaluronic acid popular in cosmetology;
            • trace elements – potassium, calcium, zinc, phosphorus, sodium, magnesium, iron, copper, etc.;
            • anthrachionins, which reduce pain and have a mild laxative effect;
            • antibacterial glucocides and isobartoloins;
            • allantoin, which allows the skin to receive more moisture;
            • anthranols that improve oxygen metabolism in skin cells. nine0165

Many often confuse aloe vera (left) and aloe vera (right)

            Legion-Media

            Legion-Media

Outwardly, these plants also differ. The fleshy and pointed leaves of aloe vera make up a large rosette, and the agave loves to stretch up like a small tree.

The benefits of aloe vera gel

The substances that make up aloe make it possible to use the plant as a medicine for the treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, skin, various wounds and burns, including sunburn. But aloe gel is especially indispensable in cosmetology. It helps to get rid of wrinkles, acne and pigmentation, fills the skin with the necessary moisture, tightens pores, cares for hair, nourishing it and giving it smoothness. nine0003

Another area that aloe vera loves is the thin and frizzy skin around the eyes. It responds well to many preparations with plant extract, but patches with this component are especially good.

And the great news is that aloe vera gel for beauty purposes is easy to prepare at home. But if you don’t want to bother, then the remedy can be found in stores and salons. The main thing is to choose a quality brand.

Aloe vera gel skin and hair benefits

Dr. med., dermatologist Gretchen Freeling is sure that aloe vera gel is indispensable not only in the home first aid kit, but also in the cosmetic bag. And it can be used in different forms. For example, rubbing jelly directly from succulent leaves or paying attention to products that include plant extract.

            Aloe vera for skin hydration

A study published on PubMed Central confirms that aloe vera deeply hydrates the skin as well as the hair. And this is not surprising, says Dr. Freeling, because the leaves of the plant contain water and substances that help retain it. The latter include mucopolysaccharides, which literally return youth to the face. After all, the less moisture loss, the healthier and more elastic the skin. Add to this the ability to act on regeneration and remove dead cells – and you get the perfect body and face care product. nine0003

Aloe vera gets rid of dark spots

Tired of dark spots? Then turn to aloe vera for help! Aloesin, which is part of the plant, will quickly get rid of this problem. Research by scientists has shown that this substance, when applied 4 times a day for 15 days, is very effective for treating hyperpigmentation. This is especially true for the effects of ultraviolet radiation and post-acne.

            Aloe antiviral and antibacterial

Rest assured: with aloe vera you are well protected thanks to anthraquinones. Scientists have found that they have antibacterial and antiviral effects. And the fatty acids and enzymes found in aloe vera gel help reduce inflammation. So, when applied topically, the juice of the plant is able to fight herpes.

            Aloe vera heals burns

People have known about such benefits of aloe for the skin for a long time. But only recently, researchers have shown that first- and second-degree burns heal faster when using medications and dressings with succulent extract. And it’s all about the anti-inflammatory properties of the plant, whose juice improves blood circulation and prevents the growth of bacteria, Dr. Freeling confirms this. nine0003

Aloe Vera Help for Chronic Skin Conditions

According to Dr. Freeling, aloe gel is also great for treating chronic conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis. They cause inflammation and weaken the natural protective barrier, making the skin more susceptible to bacterial and fungal infections. And the succulent contains vitamins, antioxidants and enzymes that contribute to the rapid restoration and healing of the integument. nine0003

So, the dermatologist advises all those suffering from the above diseases to include aloe vera gel in their daily care. It will also help in the fight against acne and acne, especially when combined with special creams with tretinoin. Recent studies have shown that such drugs work best when paired with plant elements. Do not forget that aloe vera gel is also a source of salicylic acid.

            Aloe vera rejuvenates

Another benefit of aloe vera gel for the skin is that it promotes rejuvenation. The leaves of the plant are rich in antioxidants that reduce free radical damage and naturally slow down aging. Of course, no one has managed to linger in eternal youth, but this nourishing succulent will definitely help preserve beauty at any age.

            Aloe Vera Supports Healthy Hair

Everything about the benefits of aloe vera for skin can be safely attributed to hair care. Vitamins contained in the leaves of the plant maintain a healthy shine of curls, strengthen the bulbs, preventing hair loss. Trace elements have a beneficial effect on the scalp, eliminate dandruff, nourish the hair along the entire length, giving the tips a well-groomed look. And the same allantoin perfectly moisturizes, which can help weakened from staining and dry strands. nine0003

Aloe vera cares for the skin around the eyes

Natural aloe vera juice or gel is indispensable for the skin around the eyes. This is a special area of responsibility for every woman, who requires considerable tricks in the selection of funds. So the magic drug was found a long time ago! Apply aloe vera gel to the area under the eyes at night and the next morning the result will surprise you. The drug copes especially well with bags and bruises, as well as fine wrinkles. You can add it to your favorite cream that you use regularly. But remember that one-time treatments, even with aloe vera, are completely useless. Cosmetologists talk about a visible effect only with daily care. nine0003

Aloe vera gel for different skin types

In fact, a plant from hot countries is universal and suitable for any person. It’s hard to imagine dry, sensitive skin care without aloe vera. As a rule, there is no allergy to extract or juice, therefore it is added not only to creams, but also to tonics, cleansers and moisturizing masks.

But aloe vera gel is also a great help for oily and combination skin. nine0154 It tightens pores, removes excess sebum, mattifies, fights comedones. Dehydrated skin provides the necessary moisture. Another plus is that aloe vera tends to be combined with many components of home and salon cosmetics. So you can safely add the gel to your favorite night and day cream.

How to make aloe vera gel at home

You can get aloe vera gel at home, of course, if you are the owner of this houseplant or you have a whole mini-plantation in the greenhouse. The main thing to remember is that healthy whole jelly is obtained from succulents that are three years old. Green sockets under this age are usually just not able to meet your needs. nine0003

The leaves are cut almost to the root and placed in a container or loose dish to drain the unwanted latex. Some cosmetologists recommend putting freshly cut aloe in the refrigerator for a couple of weeks. But most often 10-15 minutes are enough, after which it is worth cutting off small spines, and then carefully remove the flat side of the sheet.

Scoop up all the gel with a spoon and transfer it to a blender to obtain a smooth consistency. Before transferring a natural remedy to a jar, make sure it is sterile. Honey and vitamin C will extend the shelf life of the gel, but it is better to use it for its intended purpose as soon as possible. nine0003

How to choose an aloe vera product

If you bother with the constant collection of aloe vera gel, you can buy it in the store. The main condition is that the remedy must consist of at least 95% of the plant. Only then will it be truly effective.

It’s good if the manufacturer’s website indicates the place and time of collection of the plant. The latter is important for the color of the gel. It can be a golden hue, completely transparent or yellowish. If something bright green “looks” at you from the jar, then the composition clearly contains artificial dyes. nine0003

If the product contains water, it means that there will be a preservative present. Opt for gels with natural options, such as ascorbic acid or potassium sorbate.

Who Aloe Vera Gel Is Not For

Despite its versatility and compatibility with sensitive skin, aloe vera gel is not for everyone. Before use, be sure to test for the tolerance of the components. Each organism is individual, so in some cases, allergies may occur.
