“Building a brand new waterpark from scratch is a huge undertaking. We needed a partner with the horsepower to get it done and WhiteWater was the right decision. A project of this scale took an incredible amount of teamwork and WhiteWater was with us every step of the way and we opened on time as scheduled. “

“I give a lot of credence to WhiteWater and their design team for taking our idea and running with it. There were tiny details that they really perfected. WhiteWater’s design studio can make whatever a park’s unique needs call for.”

“WhiteWater has been an outstanding company to work with! The company and team have supported us not only at the construction phase, but also once the ride was complete and in operation. Our new “Timber Falls” log ride has tripled our ridership capacity to approx. 900 riders per hour, is completely themed under the direction of the WhiteWater design team, and has increased our online sales by 39%. Calaway Park could not be happier with our new ride and the relationship that we have with the team at WhiteWater.”
Bob Williams
General Manager, Calaway Park

“Our new attraction has been a huge hit with our customers. The Tailspin section of the ride is amazing. The riders emerge from the enclosed tubes into the Tailspin and you can see the pure joy on their faces as they circle around inside. The Tailspin also makes a great visual impact to all of our customers in the park, the layered effect is so unique it gets everyone excited to try the ride.”
While on vacation and recuperation in the Sanatorium “Rodnik”, you can visit the water park “Tiki-Tak” in Dzhemet.
“Tiki-Tak” is one of the largest water parks in Anapa with a huge selection of pools and attractions. Moreover, in terms of water volume, this is the largest European water park! Children, adults, youth, and even teenagers, who are sometimes not so easy to please, will find an exciting and fun activity for themselves.
The water entertainment complex is located on Pionersky Prospekt in the village of Dzhemete, a suburb of Anapa. nine0003
The water park has almost 20 rides and six pools, including a spa pool with jacuzzi. Here you will also find a dance floor where foam parties and dances in fountains are held. Adrenaline lovers will be pleased with extreme rides, and mothers and kids will enjoy gently sloping safe slides.
Swimming pools
The water park’s swimming pools are designed for a wide variety of visitors – there are pools for kids, for young people who like to jump, and for those who prefer to swim calmly or lie on the water. For example, the “Jumping” pool, four meters deep, is designed specifically for outdoor activities. And on the “Lazy River” with a slow current, you can sunbathe while lying on an air mattress. In the “Wave” pool, adults and children enjoy swinging on the waves – high and low. nine0006
Extreme attractions
Thrill-seekers will find plenty of entertainment to suit their taste. For example, the Twister slide is two ten-meter pipes that are intertwined with each other like a pigtail. A person descending this hill flies all ten meters with all turns in complete darkness. And on the “Superball” the visitor can literally try himself in the role of a “ball” that bounces over the surface of the water. On the Boomerang, you can descend from dizzying heights… to soar upward again – and plummet down again! nine0006
Animation
Professional animators work in the water park, who will not let both children and adults get bored. For adults, various exciting competitions are held. And for children – fun games, sports and much more.
On the dance floor “Pearl” foam parties and dances in the fountains are held daily.
For children
The water park can offer safe entertainment even for the smallest visitors. The depth of the children’s pool is 0.25 meters. Toddlers can ride the gentle slides or relax on dry land. There is a sandbox and a children’s creative workshop. nine0006
Family holidays
Do you like to have a rest with your family? Did you come to Anapa to communicate more with your children on vacation? Just for you, the water park has family attractions! For example, on the Tabogan slides, you can go down on an inflatable ring together with a child.
You can also try your hand at rafting! The inflatable boat can accommodate up to four people. Climb into it with the whole family – and go down the winding “river” with many rapids and unexpected turns. It will definitely become an exciting and fun adventure for all family members! nine0006

Evpatoria water park Lukomorye
Water park “At Lukomorye” – perhaps, if not the best in Crimea, then definitely one of the top three. Located in the city of Yevpatoria on the territory of the central park of culture and recreation “Frunze”. nine0003
Geographical coordinates of the Water Park “At Lukomorye” on the map of Crimea GPS: N 45.183751, E , 33.358142.
The water park strictly adheres to the theme of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin, from the name to the scenery and landscape design. The water park “At Lukomorye” has its own secure parking. The whole complex occupies about 4 thousand square meters.
The entrance to the water park begins with a huge hero at the entrance. Every morning the hero opens his eyes, which symbolizes the beginning of the water park. The water park is open from 10-00 to 19-00. For children below 100 cm, admission accompanied by parents is free, Crimeans have a discount of up to 50%. Behind the entrance to the Water Park “At Lukomorye” a stunningly stylized view of the Mermaid, the frog princess, the golden fish and many other fairy-tale heroes of A.
We’ve looked at the most up-to-date weather data for Cyprus, covering the last 12 years up to 2022, plus we’ve asked our team of travel bloggers for their first-hand experiences in order to answer the most frequently asked questions about Cyprus weather in October.
What’s the weather like in Cyprus in October?
Throughout October, the climate in Cyprus is fairly warm, although cooler than the summer months, with temperatures ranging from around 24 to 27°C. It doesn’t feel overwhelmingly hot, and there’s often a pleasant balmy breeze in the air. On the whole, things stay fairly dry, but you might experience the occasional rain shower as the month draws to a close.
Answered by The Rare Welsh Bit
What should I pack for a holiday in Cyprus in October?
Pack cool, comfortable clothing for a warm climate, alongside a couple of light jackets and perhaps a raincoat. While temperatures aren’t quite as scorching as they are during the summer months, it can get hotter at certain times during the day, so it’s a good idea to bring a hat to protect your head from the sun.
Answered by The Rare Welsh Bit
What’s great about Cyprus in October?
The climate is very pleasant, it’s often quieter and less-crowded and accommodation rates are often lower than they are during peak travel times.
Answered by The Rare Welsh Bit
How warm is it in Cyprus during October?
The temperature reaches around 27℃ during the daytime in October, falling away to 20℃ at night. The UV index will be high at this time of year, so protection against skin and eye damage is needed.
Try to limit exposure between 10am and 4pm. Apply broad spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen every few hours, even if it’s cloudy, or more frequently after sweating or swimming, and wear UV-blocking sunglasses too, and bear in mind that bright surfaces, such as sand and water increase UV exposure.
Does it rain in Cyprus during October?
On average, there will be 4 rainy days during the month, amounting to 54.9mm in total. That’s broadly comparable with the amount of rain we see in England during the summer months, and would be considered dry. There’s a small chance that you’ll catch a thunderstorm during your trip.
How warm is the sea in Cyprus during October?
The water around Cyprus reaches a very pleasant 26℃ during October. This is very warm, and will feel bath-like. People who normally feel the cold will find this temperature perfectly acceptable. The hot air temperature will mean that you will feel comfortably warm when coming out of the water.

Economy vacation in October
02 June, 2019
The fact that it’s the middle of autumn doesn’t mean that you can forget about the rest. In fact, this time of the year can give a lot of opportunities for a wonderful pastime in various parts of the world, which at the height of summer could only be dreamed of. Many have understood this, and immediately plan an economy vacation in October.
Greece
Here, first of all, it is worth mentioning the island of Crete, from where, according to many scientists, European civilization started. Like it or not, it is not very important, but the fact that some of the most ancient monuments of European civilization have been preserved here, which was already ancient in the time of Homer, is a fact. nine0003
In addition, the weather here is still comfortable in October, even by the standards of the already not too cold mainland Greece. There are more than enough sunny days in October, and rains are rare.
A big plus is the strong reduction in prices for accommodation and tickets to entertainment venues. In parallel with this, it is worth noting a noticeable decrease in the number of tourists, thanks to which the rest will really look like a vacation, without any fuss and crush. For the same reason, the tourist will have the opportunity to get on any excursion and visit any museum. nine0003
Those who are not too lazy to pack their things in advance can try to find a last-minute tour to Greece in October, since their number in the middle of autumn is very large. Thanks to this, you can make your trip even more economical.
Tunisia
This month in Tunisia the weather is fine by European standards. It will only disappoint fans of extreme heat. Others will surely appreciate the soft warmth. The air warms up to at least +25 °С, and the sea is steadily warm. In addition, it is very easy to buy a last-minute tour to Tunisia in October, even despite such comfortable climatic conditions. nine0003
This Mediterranean country abounds in sights, and not only in the Arab-Islamic world. Here you can find Roman buildings, and even the remains of ancient Carthage, with which the Romans fought so desperately.
It is worth mentioning the many wellness programs and spa treatments that Tunisia is traditionally famous for. Of particular note is thalassotherapy, the effect of which has already been appreciated by many tourists. And, of course, there are traditional oriental bazaars here, where they sell a lot of exotic goods, many of which will become wonderful souvenirs. nine0003
The advantage of Tunisia is that, although the country is Islamic, there is no radicalism in it, and if you keep within the bounds of decency, nothing will threaten the tourist. Naturally, since, at least formally, it is mid-autumn in the yard, there will be few tourists, and prices will be very democratic, and not only for accommodation, but also for food, entertainment, etc.
Cyprus
On this island You can relax in general all year round, and even in October and even more so. The landscapes here in October can be even more beautiful than in summer, the weather is wonderful, the club life is very lively, but the most important thing is the abundance of attractions that await tourists literally at every corner. nine0003
In Cyprus, you can see medieval fortresses and monasteries that still remember the era of the Crusaders and orders of chivalry, as well as the ruins of buildings from much older eras, and archaeological sites, which in October will be much easier for tourists to get to than in summer.
Beach holidays in Cyprus in October are absolutely real, and you should definitely take advantage of this, as the local beaches are considered among the best in Europe. Moreover, both the southern and northern coasts of the island are equally suitable for a beach holiday. nine0003
Those who are not indifferent to a more high-status holiday should turn their attention to Paphos, which is distinguished by its special amenities, and fans of club and disco entertainment will certainly be interested in Larnaca.
Turkey
Probably the most interesting place for an October holiday in Turkey will be Kemer. In this place, even in November, the weather is truly Mediterranean, and there is nothing to say about October. Of particular note is the amazing combination of amazing smells of pine forests, mixed with a clean sea breeze. By the way, pines do not grow somewhere in the depths of the mainland, but come close to the beach itself, sometimes approaching the water itself. nine0003
Buying a last-minute tour to Kemer in October is quite simple, which is good in itself, and even more so when combined with a small number of tourists at the resort. As for architectural monuments, historical sites and masterpieces of natural origin, they delight in October just like in any other month.
It is also worth noting the many beaches, thermal springs, spas, a real Turkish hammam, an abundance of excursions and entertainment programs, as well as many hotels operating on the most revered all-inclusive system among Russians. nine0003
Bulgaria
This country is generally good for an economy holiday, and especially in October. At the same time, the service here is quite decent, and although the beach season is almost over in October, it’s still worth buying a tour to Bulgaria in October. The combination of decent service, comfortable weather, beautiful nature and surprisingly low prices, coupled with the almost complete absence of a language barrier, give every reason for this.
The air temperature is usually around +25 °C. This month, you can not only see the local sights and take walks, but even work on your tan. nine0003
In addition, there are many health resorts in Bulgaria. This country has generally relied on recovery, so there is no shortage of spa treatments. In addition to this, there are healing hot springs.
Those who are looking for an active holiday will not be bored either, because here in October there are all the opportunities for both water sports and land sports, such as trekking. It is worth mentioning the water parks, and many entertainment venues.
Canary Islands
It is worth mentioning these islands, as it begins to seem to everyone that only very wealthy people can afford them. In fact, they are quite affordable, especially if you buy a tour to the Canary Islands in October. This month the air temperature does not fall below +23 °C. The temperature of the coastal waters is quite comfortable, but if it doesn’t seem so to someone, they can be replenished by swimming in the pool, where it is warm and the waves do not interfere.
Most often, tourists choose Tenerife, where the abundance of amusement parks and entertainment venues is combined with beautiful nature, volcanoes and tropical thickets. Those who are looking for a romantic or just a secluded vacation should pay attention to La Palma or La Gomera. nine0003
Vietnam
This is the best place to go to Phu Quoc, where you can enjoy a beach holiday in a relaxed atmosphere and alone with nature. The tourist will be especially pleased that after the autumn of Russia he will find himself in the middle of a real summer, and besides, he will also be surrounded by tropical jungles.
Thailand
Another budget destination. This month, the cost of tours to Thailand is much lower, so savings, space and lack of fuss are guaranteed for the tourist. Naturally, opportunities to get acquainted with Thai culture, history and architecture will be presented in full. nine0003
The richness of the entertainment program will be almost maximum, and ticket prices will be much cheaper than in the high season. As for the weather, it is mostly frightened by its vagaries, but in reality it is usually quite comfortable.
Maldives
Here in October – a real paradise that has nothing to do with the gray European autumn reality. Here, the tourist will have the opportunity not only to sunbathe on the beach, but also to explore the underwater world, since it is very diverse off the coast of the Maldives archipelago. nine0003
True, October is not one of the cheapest months, but if you try, it is quite possible to buy a last-minute tour to the Maldives in October, which will allow you to relax in this beautiful place at a reasonable price.
United Arab Emirates
The advantage of this period is the combination of affordable prices and moderate heat. At the same time, the list of entertainment will be complete, and the tourist will be able to enjoy everything from a beach holiday to sightseeing, visiting restaurants and cafes, sand and water skiing. And all this at fairly modest prices. nine0003
Sri Lanka
As such, there is no high and low season here, but October is still characterized by lower prices. This month, tourists are just starting to pay attention to this island, so prices have not yet been pushed up to the maximum. And the opportunity to buy a tour to Sri Lanka in October is not something out of the ordinary.
Israel
Another suitable place for a year-round holiday. The best place in October will be Eilat, where it is comfortable for both lovers of secluded relaxation and sociable youth. Here in October there is a good beach holiday, the water temperature is quite comfortable, and besides, there are excellent conditions for walking in the local nature. Diving in Eilat in October will also be at the level. nine0003
Jordan
Another inexpensive and multifunctional place that will be comfortable for both fans of a beach holiday and those who are looking for a cultural holiday. The combination of sea, desert and ancient heritage is sure to leave a vivid mark on your memory.
In addition, it would be remiss to forget about holidays in European cities. They will surely attract those who appreciate culture and history the most. The Czech Republic and Italy will be especially good. We should not forget about the Crimean resorts, where the weather is still quite warm, and the prices are already almost minimal. And the geographical proximity makes the Crimea very suitable for a budget holiday. nine0003

Belarusians for holidays in Thailand: need a visa
Italy
In northern Italy, the sea is cool in October. In southern Italy, the islands of Capri, Sicily and Sardinia, the sea is warmer and more comfortable for a beach holiday. The weather is amazing: sunny days, pleasant warm air + 24 … 26 ⁰С, sea water + 21 … 23⁰С.
Belarusians for holidays in Italy: need a Schengen visa Malta in October is similar to the weather in southern Italy, the distance between the islands is about 150 km. Daytime temperature +23…24 ⁰С, evening +17..18 ⁰С. Sea +21…23⁰С. It is windy in Malta, keep this in mind when packing your suitcase. nine0003
Belarusians for holidays in Malta: need a Schengen visa The water temperature in October will be +22…24⁰С.
Canary Islands: Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Fuerteventura, La Gomera, La Palma – ideal for a holiday in October. Tropical landscapes, the Atlantic Ocean, volcanic beaches, the purest waterfalls and valleys-reserves of frozen lava. Perhaps God himself ordered to rest here in the fall. The temperature during the day does not drop below +26⁰С, the water in the ocean is +22…24⁰С and on average equals the air temperature in the evening. Keep in mind that the Canary Islands are located in 4 climatic zones and 28 climatic zones, so the weather can vary significantly in different regions. For a beach holiday, we recommend choosing the southern parts of the islands. nine0003

Board & Bike
A new style of Windsurfing & Biking Adventure Windwise Style!
Windsurf & Biking Holiday In Tenerife
We’ve just announced a really great ‘Board & Bike’ holiday and adventure for those keen on windsurfing and mountain biking! This is a perfect combination to cater for any wind conditions and ensure that we make the full use of everyday. It’s a perfect pre-season tune up and suitable for a range of windsurfing & riding levels. Read on for full details and to book your place now!
1st-6th Feb ‘Board & Bike’ *New style of adventure trip* (6 days)
Our Board & Bike six day windsurfing & biking adventure has evolved out of our Bike & Bite social in the South Downs. Plus we have a deep family history in high level cycling. But basically we windsurf if it’s windy and mountain bike if it’s not and will offer a mix of both sports throughout the trip. This is fully guided by our Windwise Board & Bike Coaches and SB will be there ‘assisting’ too. On the water Windwise will run through the Skills Training System and on the bikes we’ll offer assistance on riding and guide you on some great routes/rides! So ‘Board & Bike’ is less focused on pure coaching and more about experiences and “progression through adventure!” We can offer different levels of assistance for both the windsurfing and biking elements of this trip!

It’s a huge windsurfing beach which is famous for flat water on the inside, rolling swell out back and two optional wave breaks – The ‘Harbour Wall’ an easy intro to waves & El Cazebo where world cup wave events have been held. We will be operating out of TWS Centre which is based in the best part of the beach and is stacked to the roof with kit for you to use! Off the water you’ll get a taste sensation with fresh fish, tasty tapas and of course that apres windsurfing Dorado beer, plus the renowned WINDWISE socials, location guiding and adventures.

Windsurfing Level?
ideally you need to be intermediate so able to waterstart and plan in the harness and straps. If you’re not at this level please contact us and we can discuss your options. We will windsurf in the bay for those seeking flatter water and for more experienced sailors venture into the waves.
Biking Level?
You need to have had reasonable biking experience, so if you’re happy riding on South Down bridleways and ride with clip in’s, you’ll be fine for Tenerife. We’ll have a variety of different level rides, with options for more and less energetic riders to sample what the Tenerife has to offer. This is more enjoyable, relaxed riding, rather than race pace. So expect some ups and downs plus some fab scenery. We will have some different route options to ensure those who want an easier ride can and those who want to stretch the legs can push on. If you’re unsure of your level then please contact us we’d be happy to discuss it further with you.
Other Holiday Highlights
After a full day of windsurfing or biking – we will decide which is best based on the conditions and also make sure we do a mix throughout the week. We will give you optional socials, adventures, safari’s and check out some special places on this popular Canarian island, with full guiding throughout your whole trip to make sure you eat the best food on the island!
Kit & Conditions
Mostly flat water in the bay, rolling swell out of the bay. A decent entry to waves at the harbour wall and then if you fancy a truck up with, you can sail El Cabezo, which is the World Cup beach. Makes a great downwinder!

Plus of course we’ll take you to some the best places to eat in El Medano, and other secret get aways!
What to take

WINDWISE will do their best to ensure your safety and enjoyment on the water. There will be times when you’re being coached individually and in a group. There will also be times when you are freesailng by yourself. Windsurfing is, potentially, a dangerous sport and you must agree to sail in a responsible manner and in the designated areas outlined to you in resort.
In the event that Simon Bornhoft is not able to make the Board & Bike Adventure due to illness or unforseen circumstances, your WINDWISE booking and holiday are still valid and the course/holiday and adventure will still go ahead and another Windwise coach will be provided for you.

Perhaps our new and spacious surf club on the island of Tenerife in the Las Americas beach area is the result of the experience of the last ten years. The Baltic, Europe, the Caribbean and of course the Canary Islands – all the experience and accumulated knowledge have gathered in the new project OCEAN FREAKS WORLD SURF CLUB . The result is a modern surf club that includes: school, rental, surf shop and of course a stylish lounge bar with a spacious terrace. The menu was specially thought out taking into account the sports loads of our clients, but we didn’t forget about sweets, and the cocktail list is impeccable))) Write, call, come in! Warm welcome, warm ocean, vocational training and as they say “ HEALTHY FOOD ” at your disposal!

We are settling in, the school of surfing and kitesurfing, the rental is operating as usual, and from the new one, we are opening the second surf club on the island in the Las Americas region in April and will be able to offer you both all the surfing amenities and an excellent menu in our lounge bar. When the forecasts take time outs 🙂 the waves weaken or the wind turns sour, our surf school does not stop producing adrenaline. We regularly visit local skateparks and pools, where you can hone the necessary movements, stance and balance on regular or surf skates, which is important in surfing lessons. nine0005
Tenerife has plenty of places for street style fans. For example, Plaza del Corte Inglés and Plaza de España in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, or Plaza de Europa in Puerto de la Cruz. There are also excellent slopes for longboarding and good skate parks in Santa Cruz on the waterfront and in Parque de La Granja, we have in El Medano next to the football field. One of the best concrete parks is located in the city of Punto de Hidalgo on the north side of the island and the second is smaller in the town of Costa del Silencio in the recreation area and sports fields. There are also small parks in the most touristic area of Las Americas and Adeje, in Los Cristianos they roll a street on the square. nine0005
You can rent a skateboard from us and get advice on where and how best to ride or buy a skateboard, longboard in Tenerife at a good price.

Canarian autumn is perhaps the most comfortable period for learning and practicing surfing in Tenerife. The Atlantic Ocean comes to life and begins to please with regular but not radical forecasts. Warm ocean and gentle sun, you can surf without a wetsuit. As always during this period, our OCEAN FREAKS WORLD school devotes more time during this period to surfing and offers intensive private and group lessons, regular surf safaris and equipment rentals for all levels. Write, call, we are waiting for old and new friends! nine0005
P.s We will also select and book comfortable and inexpensive accommodation, meet, organize all types of excursions 🙂

Bodyboarding is one of the varieties of surfing. There is a wide variation in equipment prices and riding styles. A bodyboard (bodyboard) is very cheap compared to surfboards, kitesurfboards and windsurfers. It costs less than $50. The bodyboard is a rectangular piece of foam with a length of about one meter. It has a smooth shape of the corners and consists of polypropylene or polyethylene. On such a board they ride lying down, less often half-sitting or standing. To make it more convenient to manage, use flippers. Everyone will be pleased to slowly and effortlessly glide along the waves while lying down. Of course, competitions are also held in this sport. Athletes perform spectacular stunts. Many of them cannot be completed in normal surfing. And all this in a supine position. It is worth noting that this sport is most common among the youngest athletes, world champions in it became at the age of 17-18. nine0005
In Tenerife, you can ride a bodyboard both on all known surf spots, and on more difficult and suitable for this category (La Caleta, El Confintal, El Poris, Punta Blanca). The first steps, as in surfing, are easier to do in El Medano on a safe sandy beach. We have a good selection of boards for hire at our school and you can always get a briefing or a lesson.

Paddle surfing or SUP (Stand-up Paddling) is one of the variants of surfing, where the rider uses a paddle to move through the water while standing on a surfboard. Paddle surfing has Polynesian roots – translated from the Hawaiian Ku Hoe He’e Nalu literally – stand, paddle, surf, waves. nine0005
One of the differences between modern classic surfing and paddle surfing is that it can be used both without waves and without wind: SUP can be practiced on the open sea, on a lake, on a river or on any large body of water. The advantage of Stand Up Paddle Surfing is the surfer’s viewing angle – standing on a surfboard allows you to better see what is happening under you in the water, as well as around.
Stand Up Paddle Surfing gives you a unique training opportunity – paddle work while standing on an unstable surface forces the body to work differently. Picking up the paddle and standing on the board, many immediately solve the problem of balance, acquire the necessary skills and reduce the time of learning to windsurf or surf. Stand up paddle surf allows you to enjoy ordinary paddleboarding, just like on a raft or canoe. nine0005
SUP surfing is a great opportunity not only to adapt to the board in order to use this skill in surfing or windsurfing, but also excellent fitness. El Medano Bay is great for SUPing and fun on windless days.

In a bay a little east of Montaña Roja, the small and pretty resort town of El Medano is hidden away from the noisy tourist centers of the south of the island.
In addition to windsurfers, kitesurfers and just surfers, quiet El Medano may be of interest to those who do not like big resorts and prefer a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. Of course, adjusted for the omnipresent wind.
To the west of El Medano, along the bay of the same name, there is a beach with the same name. The Playa El Medano beach is of natural origin, which is not typical for Tenerife: it is believed that the light sand was brought here by the constantly blowing wind from the coast of Africa. nine0005
On the opposite side of Montaña Roja, there is an even longer sandy beach – Playa La Tejita. As on the beach near the town, here there are traditionally more local residents than wind-resistant holidaymakers, and the minimum of civilization is conducive to relaxation without swimsuits.
El Medano – the place of our residence on the island: station, surf school, kite surf, rental and sale of equipment. In addition, for ordinary life – shops, markets, pharmacies, bars and numerous restaurants create a unique comfort for residents and tourists. And of course there is no other place on the island where all types of surfing are available in one place. nine0005

Forecast Yulia Terzhiyska – Almudena Sans Llanes Fernandez (02.12.2022), bets and odds
On December 02 at 10:30 Moscow time, a match will take place within the UTR Pro Tennis Series championship, in which Julia Terzhiyska will enter the court , and Almudena Sans Llanes Fernandez will face in this fight. br>
Since Yuliya Terzhiyska in three previous personal meetings cannot defeat such a tennis professional as Almudena Sans-Lanesa Fernandez, few people doubt how the duel scheduled for 02nd will end December. But, Yuliya Terzhiyska will still be able to prove the opposite at 10:30 Moscow time, when the opponents appear on the tennis court.
Julia Terzhiyska – Almudena Sans Llanes Fernandez. WHO IS THE FAVORITE OF THE MATCH?
The prestigious tennis tournament starts next week, and on December 02 it will open with the confrontation between Yuliya Terzhiysk and Almudena Sans Llanes Fernandez. For those who want to get to the opening match, it is better to come to the stands before 10:30 Moscow time, that is, before the start of the game. Yuliya Terzhiyska and Almudena Sans Llanes Fernandez know each other very well, because the history of the confrontation has already twelve matches in which Almudena Sans Llanes Fernandez can be proud of seven victories, but Yuliya Terzhiyska has only five victories.
Yuliya Terzhiiska
In most of her won fights, Yuliya Terzhiiska wins due to a strong serve, because apart from her there is nothing else to brag about. But, if Yulia Terzhiyska seizes the initiative from the first minutes and constantly serves, then the opponent has little chance of saving. One match has already been played at this tournament, which was played very confidently. The pitch worked at the highest level, so that the opponent did not have a single break point. Julia Terzhiyska is now in good physical shape, which was evident from all previous matches of the season, because even if she had to play five sets, there was no big fatigue at the end of the match. The profile surface is clay, but Yuliya Terzhiyska also has to play hard courts, and this season there have already been enough matches on hard courts to get used to such coverage.
The start of this season could have been just great, because already in the first tournament we managed to reach the semi-finals, but had to abandon the game due to a small injury. Fortunately, the injury was not serious so Almudena Sans Llanes Fernandez is now back in the ranks and hopes to play better in this tournament. Almudena Sans Llanes Fernandez has an unusual style of play, performing a lot of cut short shots during the match, so it is very difficult for opponents to adapt to such a game and act confidently on draws. Fernandez is experiencing problems with serving Almudena Sans Llanes for now, but it is unlikely to be long, because there is simply no need to put a lot of pressure on the hand, since it was with it that there were small problems that made us turn to doctors. On the hard surface of Almudena Sans Llanes Fernandez performs most often, so he has a lot of experience playing on these courts. Now Almudena Sans Llanes Fernandez is ranked 38th in the world rankings, but there are excellent chances to climb even higher.
Julia Terzhiyska – Almudena Sans Llanes Fernandez. HOW DID YOU PLAY WITH YOUR ONE?
For a long time Yuliya Terzijska and Almudena Sans Llanes Fernandez could not cross rackets to determine who is the best athlete today. For a long time in the world of tennis there has been an opinion that these athletes are now the best, but before this tournament the paths of tennis players did not intersect, so it was not easy to say which of them deserved the title of the best athlete on the tennis Olympus. Tennis fans, as well as world experts and forecasters, among whom there are employees of our site, believe that the result of this meeting will allow answering many questions. The media also do not stop actively discussing this match, offering not only to watch this confrontation online, but also actively sharing their predictions. In the light of such events, we also decided to offer tennis fans predictions for the central match of the tournament, in which Julia Terzhiyska and Almudena Sans-Llanes Fernandez will meet. This will be a confrontation between worthy opponents, as tennis players are significantly superior to their counterparts in both physical and psychological preparation. Talks are going around whether one of the opponents will be able to win with little blood, or whether the fans are in for a tense confrontation, the winner of which will be determined by the decisive set. The advantage of the decisive set is that the intrigue is maintained until the end, and only the decisive draw will be able to put an end to this confrontation, determining the winner of the match. And the predictions from our experts will allow you to watch this match with even greater interest, as bettors will be able to make a variety of bets, thereby increasing the chances of winning.
Yuliya Terzhiiska is coming into this tournament in great shape, so she will try to make every effort to defend last year’s title. Up to this stage, five duels have already been played, and in all of them there were not only easy victories, but not a single game was lost. But the opponents were not the weakest, so this once again confirms that Yuliya Terzhiyska is not at the peak of her abilities, so few people will be able to stop the big tennis star. Yulia Terzhiyska cannot boast of the strongest serve, but she has high speed, and little energy was spent on previous matches. Julia Terzhiyska tries not to focus on strength at the first serve, but simply uses many variations, trying to confuse her opponent. Yuliya Terzhiyska shows stably in draws, plays reliably when exchanging blows on the back line, and in terms of combinational play, there are no worthy competitors at the moment.
Almudena Sans Llanes Fernández is just getting started this season, so only four matches have been played so far, of which two have been won and two have ended in losses. It is worth noting that both defeats were in matches against opponents who act in a similar style, acting on the court in a very aggressive manner. While Almudena Sans Llanes Fernandez is playing only as much as the opponent allows, so if there is too much aggressive pressure, then Almudena Sans Llanes Fernandez starts to make mistakes and the defensive game is destroyed. As for this court surface, Almudena Sans Llanes Fernandez does not perform well on it, because in his entire career there have been no achievements, except that two years ago at the same tournament he managed to go to the quarterfinals, but then there were too easy opponents. There were only two days to prepare for this match, and since a lot of energy and emotions were spent in the last game, it is unlikely that Almudena Sans Llanes Fernandez will be able to show his best tennis now.
Today is the match between Yulia Terzhiysk and Almudena Sans Llanes Fernandez Forecasts from BC BaltBet
The excellent performance of athletes in the previous rounds of the tournament could not go unnoticed by our experienced analysts. Therefore, as soon as the bookmakers offered a line for the match in which Yuliya Terzhiyska and Almudena Sans Llanes Fernandez will meet, the analysts of our portal immediately began to look for interesting bets on this match. Considering the personal meetings of the athletes, we noticed that the struggle between them is always quite tight, none of the rivals has a visible advantage. In addition, Yuliya Terzhiyska and Almudena Sans-Llanes Fernandez play aggressive tennis, trying to finish rallies in two or three hits, which allows them to save strength to protect points on their serve. To make high-quality predictions, our experts try to study as much information as possible regarding the performance of athletes in the tournament. The history of performances of today’s rivals here is quite bright. Both Yuliya Terzijska and Almudena Sans-Llanes Fernandez made it to the final rounds of the tournament multiple times. This suggests that the coverage of the tournament allows them to play tennis that is comfortable for them, therefore, it can be assumed that this year the opponents will make every effort to break through the tournament grid as far as possible, which means that the match must there will be wrestling and interesting combinations that will not leave indifferent any fan of this sport.
Based on the bookmakers’ odds for the match between Yuliya Terzhiysk and Almuden Sans Llanes Fernandez, our experts have paid attention to it. In general, Yuliya Terzhiyska is not in such good shape now to see this athlete as a clear favorite of the match. It is possible that the bookmakers in their quotes for this confrontation proceeded from the opponents’ rating, but they apparently did not take into account that Almudena Sans-Lanes Fernandez has more played matches on this type of coverage, and indeed, in personal meetings has an advantage. We carefully analyzed the results of the opponents in this tournament, and also paid attention to how the athletes performed here in previous years. The information received gave us additional confidence that Yuliya Terzhiiska is not such a clear favorite. Based on this, we recommend betting on the positive handicap of the bookmaker’s outsider in this match. Those bettors who prefer risky bets can play an outsider’s victory, by the way, bookmakers offer a fairly high coefficient for this, which will allow you to increase the game bank several times. We would also recommend paying attention to the total total games in this match. Our analysts think that the match will be long, which automatically implies betting on total over games. Our confidence in this forecast is supported by the fact that all personal meetings of athletes on this type of surface took place in wrestling. Most likely, this confrontation will not be an exception, especially since Yuliya Terzhiyska and Almudena Sans Llanes Fernandez demonstrate a good level of preparation at this tournament.
TODAY MATCH Yuliya Terzhiyska – Almudena Sans Llanes Fernandez. FORECAST FROM EXPERTS
For a long time, only a few athletes were at the top of the world rankings in tennis. In fact, the composition of the main contenders for trophies in a particular tournament remained unchanged. However, things have changed significantly over the years. In terms of the level of play, young people begin to catch up with the representatives of the elite elite, and young talents are trying not only to impose a fight, they go on the court to win, as evidenced by a number of unexpected results at the most prestigious tournaments. Sensations in tennis matches are happening everywhere, and this is no surprise to anyone. Our analysts have long realized that it is necessary to rebuild the approach to predicting tennis matches. It is necessary to pay more attention to analytics, paying attention to the statistical indicators of athletes on a particular type of surface, it is necessary to abandon the analysis of matches based only on the rating of athletes. The fact is that only a small part of tennis players are generalists who can demonstrate stable results on all types of surfaces. Most athletes show the best tennis on only one type of surface. Thus, the analysts of our portal emphasize that high-quality prediction of tennis matches is impossible without understanding a number of factors. We tried to use these factors in the analysis of the match between Yuliya Terzhiyska and Almudena Sans Llanes Fernandez, a detailed prediction for this interesting tennis match can be found below. We hope that the fans will not be disappointed with the performance of the athletes.
Forecast Gabriele Pennaforti – Carlo Alberto Fossati (November 30th), bets and odds
11/30/2022 at 11:00 Moscow time the match within the ITF championship will take place , in which Gabriele Pennaforti will enter the court, and Carlo Alberto Fossati will face in this fight.
At 11:00 Moscow time, tennis fans will be watching closely to see how Gabriele Pennaforti and Carlo Alberto Fossati will face each other on the court. For those who want to watch the game, which will be held on November 30, 2022, live, you can still buy tickets, as there are still empty seats in the stands. There have been only four meetings between the world’s leading rackets in history, and in them there were two victories for each opponent.
Gabriele Pennaforti – Carlo Alberto Fossati. WHO IS THE FAVORITE OF THE MATCH?
Events that will take place on 11/30/2022 have appeared in the line of bookmakers, so in the tennis section you can find the duel between Gabriele Pennaforti and Carlo Alberto Fossati. For those who want to make a pre-match bet on the game, it is necessary to do this before 11:00 Moscow time, until the match starts. Gabriele Pennaforti and Carlo Alberto Fossati have never met on the court, despite the fact that they occupy high positions in the tennis rankings and have been playing at a professional level for several years.
Gabriele Pennaforti
In most of his fights won, Gabriele Pennaforti prevails due to a strong serve, because apart from it there is nothing else to boast of. But, if Gabriele Pennaforti seizes the initiative from the first minutes and constantly serves, then the opponent has little chance of saving. One match has already been played at this tournament, which was played very confidently. The pitch worked at the highest level, so that the opponent did not have a single break point. Gabriele Pennaforti is now in good physical shape, which was evident from all previous matches of the season, because even if he had to play five sets, there was no big fatigue at the end of the match. The profile surface is clay, but on hard courts Gabriele Pennaforti also has to play, and this season there have already been enough matches on hard courts to get used to such coverage.
Carlo Alberto Fossati
The start of the season was a complete failure so now Alize Cornet has little game practice. Only three matches were played, all of which ended in defeats, and only one managed to win one set. It was in a game with opponents who are significantly lower in the world tennis rankings. So, even though last year at this tournament we managed to reach the quarterfinals, it will be a surprise if this time we even manage to overcome the qualifying matches. Alize Cornet demonstrates an extremely weak level because there is no such aspect of the game in which there would be no problems. And with the filing, problems began, and the reception worsened, so the marriage is visible all around. Alize Cornet does not feel the backline, and cannot close the area near the net simply because of poor speed. What happened in the offseason is not clear, so it is hoped that with an increase in playing practice the situation will improve so that Alize Cornet will not look so hopeless in all matches.
Gabriele Pennaforti – Carlo Alberto Fossati: the author’s prediction
Gabriele Pennaforti and Carlo Alberto Fossati are interesting rivals who always try to show not only quality, but also beautiful tennis. The public simply loves when rivals take to the court in matches with opponents. However, the face-to-face confrontation of these athletes is an excellent occasion to admire various unthinkable things of modern tennis. Plasticity and excellent feeling of the ball are the main trump cards of the opponents, allowing them to shock opponents with successful hits from absolutely incredible positions. Our experts, predicting this match, paid attention to the coverage on which the tournament is held. They perfectly suit the opponents’ style of play, that is, there will be a place not only for incredible draws, but also for standard combinations that allow athletes to defend points on their own serve. In general, victory in this match will allow you to go to the next round of the tournament, earn rating points and prize money. Given that the opponents do not have the highest rating, they are unlikely to neglect this opportunity. Therefore, the struggle in the match will be serious. We think that the confrontation will turn out to be protracted, and we base our predictions for the match on this. They can be found below. And we recommend not to miss the match itself, as we believe that it will be an amazing spectacle that will not leave indifferent any fan of this sport.
Gabriele Pennaforti doesn’t have a very strong serve, but just tries to send the ball as deep as possible into the opponent’s half of the court. But, since Gabriele Pennaforti’s reception, he loves and knows how to attack with good shots, so he can create danger, both on the first and on the second serve. With vast experience in tennis, Gabriele Pennaforti knows how to read the game well and always predicts the direction of the blow, even if the opponent is distinguished by the variability of shots. So getting an ace against a tennis legend like Gabriele Pennaforti is not easy. The beginning of his career was just on grass courts, so even though this season there have not yet been matches on this surface, but Gabriele Pennaforti knows how to play very well on it. The weak point is endurance, because at this age it’s not easy to play matches so often, but so far in past fights you haven’t had to get involved in a protracted game.
Carlo Alberto Fossati is just getting started this season, so only four matches have been played so far, of which two have been won and two ended in defeat. It is worth noting that both defeats were in matches against opponents who act in a similar style, acting on the court in a very aggressive manner. While Carlo Alberto Fossati only plays as much as the opponent allows, so if there is too much aggressive pressure, then Carlo Alberto Fossati starts to make mistakes and the defensive game is destroyed. As for this court coverage, Carlo Alberto Fossati does not perform well on it, because in his entire career there have been no achievements, except that two years ago at the same tournament he managed to reach the quarterfinals, but then too light opponents came across the grid . There were only two days to prepare for this match, and since a lot of energy and emotions were spent in the last game, it is unlikely that Carlo Alberto Fossati will be able to show his best tennis now.
Today is the match between Gabriele Pennaforti and Carlo Alberto Fossati Forecasts from BC BaltBet
Mass media pays a lot of attention to the tennis match between Gabriele Pennaforti and Carlo Alberto Fossati. And this attention is well deserved. Tennis players are having a great season, in which they prove that they are among the best representatives of this sport for a reason. Participation in semi-finals, finals and winning trophies of prestigious tennis tournaments – all this is in the career of athletes, including this season. Now the rivals are considered by the bookmakers as the main contenders for the trophy of the current tournament. However, only the winner can compete for it. The history of personal relationships between rivals on the court is quite rich. Gabriele Pennaforti and Carlo Alberto Fossati met on various types of surfaces, including the one on which this tournament is held. Considering that Gabriele Pennaforti and Carlo Alberto Fossati overcame the resistance of their counterparts in the previous rounds quite easily, our analysts concluded that the athletes saved their energy for the final matches, as they were well aware that difficult matches were coming in important stages of the tournament with rather uncompromising opponents who know how to hold their serve and can impose a fight on the opponent’s serve. Personal meetings of Gabriele Pennaforti and Carlo Alberto Fossati emphasize that the opponents prefer active attacking tennis, although they can change their usual tactics, playing on the opponent’s mistakes. For spectators, the match promises to be an interesting spectacle, and our forecasts should also make it profitable for those who bet on tennis at bookmakers.
Judging by the number of finals and titles that Gabriele Pennaforti has to his credit in his career, the question of a favorite in a tennis match between Gabriele Pennaforti and Carlo Alberto Fossati disappears by itself. Our analysts and bookmaker analysts do not see an opportunity that will allow an outsider to win this match. Carlo Alberto Fossati, in principle, is not an outsider, judging by the rating, but Gabriele Pennaforti are superior in all respects to their opponent. The only thing in which there are some doubts is whether the favorite of the match will be able to break the odds declared by the bookmakers. In principle, judging by personal meetings, here the handicap is set correctly. In the lion’s share of matches between tennis players, the handicap either broke through the favorite back to back, or did not break through. So, our analysts decided not to guess, but simply skip the handicap bet in this match, since it would be wrong to predict bets neither for nor against the handicap. But the total number of games offered by the bookmakers aroused our interest. Based on the current form of the athletes, we concluded that it is unlikely that Carlo Alberto Fossati will be able to win a set against an opponent, so we are waiting for an easy victory for the favorite here. And this means that the bookmakers have overestimated the total number of games by 1-2 games. We decided to take advantage of this and recommend bettors to bet on total less, especially since Gabriele Pennaforti feels much more comfortable on this type of coverage than his opponent.
TODAY MATCH Gabriele Pennaforti – Carlo Alberto Fossati. FORECAST FROM EXPERTS
Tennis is especially popular among fans of sports betting today. Due to the fact that modern bookmakers have significantly expanded the line of bets on this sport, bettors have the opportunity to have a large selection of events for tennis matches. Now you can bet not only on match outcomes, odds and totals, but also on sets, games and statistics. Of course, in order to win on bets on tennis statistics, you need to have certain knowledge, but thanks to our analysts, who select the most interesting tennis matches and make predictions for them, everything becomes much easier. Today, among a large number of tennis matches, our experts have chosen a match in which the opponents will be Gabriele Pennaforti and Carlo Alberto Fossati. These sportsmen confidently play in this tournament, they overcame their opponents without spending extra effort. Most likely, tennis players planned their schedule in such a way as to reach the peak of their form with the preservation of a large amount of physical and psychological strength just in time for the important stages of the tournament. Our analysts believe that the upcoming match will be a serious test for both Gabriele Pennaforti and Carlo Alberto Fossati, as the actions of the athletes on the court will allow them to assess their real training, and will also answer the question of whether athletes can be considered as one of the contenders for the title in this tournament.

Boutiques and shopping centers of San Sebastian
Perhaps the following can be said about shopping in San Sebastian – it is still a small resort town (although considered the most expensive among the cities of the “Basque country”), and not Milan or Barcelona. Therefore, one should not expect endless alleys with shops. However, the city authorities are well aware that the popularity of the resort depends on tourist shopping, so you can also find large-scale shopping centers and strings of fashionable boutiques here. Moreover, in the local stores you can find a fairly extensive range of different goods. And during the annual sales (winter from January 7 to March 6, summer from July 1 to August 31) in local stores you can find clothes and shoes with a discount of up to 80%! The largest number of shops and boutiques are concentrated, of course, in the central part of the city. Despite the fact that there are no classic branded clothing outlets in the city (with the exception of Internet outlets), here you can find designer clothing and underwear store Desigual San Sebastian Loyola (Loiola Kalea, 19), MIINT FEMME women’s clothing boutique (Garibai Kalea, 24, 20004), multi-brand boutiques Noventa Grados (Mayor Kalea, 3) and ARBELAITZ (Txurruka Kalea, 7, 20004), as well as various brand stores of famous brands – Armani, Gucci, D&G, Zara. It’s no secret that one of the main goals of tourists when visiting San Sebastian is the so-called gastronomic journey. Hundreds of restaurants and bars operate here, as well as the largest number of restaurants awarded with three Michelin stars (the highest award in the restaurant business). Vacationers can organize their own “restaurant tour” by visiting the numerous cafes and tasting the famous “tapas”. Another “three-star” San Sebastian restaurant is Akelare (Po Padre Orcolaga 56), located on Mount Igueldo. The chef, Pedro Subihana Aquelare, is one of the founders of the avant-garde New Bacca Cuisine, which takes an innovative approach to traditional Bacca recipes. The restaurant’s menu is seasonal in order to preserve the freshness of the products used.

What to do in San Sebastian in winter.
Spain in Russian
If you have not yet decided where to go during the New Year holidays, read how you can spend this time at San Sebastian , one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
The “Royal” city of San Sebastian, Donostia in Basque, has long been one of the favorite holiday destinations of Spaniards and attracts more and more visitors from all over the world. It is so refined and well-groomed that it is often called the most beautiful city in Spain. In 2016, San Sebastian was elected the European Capital of Culture. In summer, everything is filled with tourists, and in September an international film festival is held here, which attracts stars of the first magnitude and those who want to see celebrities on the red carpet. nine0003
You can have a great time in Donostia not only in the warm season, but also in winter . And for this, in the elegant capital of Guipuzcoa, one of the three provinces of the Basque Country, there is every opportunity.
“Old” city
Basilica Santa Maria Del Coro
It is simply impossible not to see her, she is the heart of the city. The external and internal decoration of the religious building is impressive. The church was built in 1774. Inside there is a museum of the Diocese. nine0003
Church of San Vicente (Iglesia de San Vicente)
This is the oldest surviving monument in the city. The Gothic temple was erected on the site of the one destroyed in the 16th century. On its walls it is written: “He who swears by his house does not keep bad things in this house.” On the facade of the atrium and near the entrance, it is interesting to look at the sculptures made by Jorge Oteis. In San Vicente you can find magnificent altars, as well as a wonderful sculpture of Ecce Homo. nine0003
Cathedral of the Good Shepherd (Catedral del Buen Pastor)
The Cathedral is the seat of the Diocese of San Sebastian, belonging to the Archdiocese of Pamplona. The cathedral was built at the end of the 19th century. The architect Manuel Echave was inspired by the style of the Gothic cathedral of Cologne when creating it.
Theaters
Teatro Victoria Eugenia
nine0002
The Victoria-Eugenia Theater is one of the architectural landmarks of the capital of Gipuzkoa and one of the cultural centers of the Basque Country. Performers from all over the world come here. The repertoire includes classical music, ballets and shows performed by famous artists. The institution is located in the very center, next to another famous architectural monument – the hotel of Maria Christina.
Palace Kursaal (Palacio Kursaal)
The Kursaal Congress Palace, known as the site of the San Sebastian Film Festival, is located near the theater on the promenade of Zurriola Beach. In the winter season, concerts and cultural and entertainment events are held here.
Museo San Telmo
The museum has an interesting and varied exposition. The first floor is dedicated to artifacts of past centuries and millennia found in the North of Spain: ancient Basque symbols, occult objects, tombstones. Here are collected a variety of archaeological finds, skeletons of animals from the Paleolithic period and a dome element from the famous cave Altamira with bison. This part of the museum will be of great interest to young visitors.
Painting gourmets will be delighted with the incredible collection of paintings presented in San Telmo. The works are placed in sections from the 15th century to the present. The halls contain paintings by Tintoretto, Goya, Madrazo, Sorolla, Zualonga and other famous artists.
In winter, admission is free.
Attractions
Promenade walks
Well-groomed embankments are one of the attractions of Donostia. For several years in a row, the famous travel site TripAdvisor has ranked the city beach of La Concha in the top of the best. Walking along the elongated coastal strip has become part of the pastime in San Sebastian. Wonderful views open here, you can relax on a stylish bench and breathe in the sea air. Comfortable walking or running along this embankment will bring incredible pleasure. The length of the three beaches is about 6 km. nine0003
It will be interesting to know that “ Five Spanish beaches are included in the list of the best in Europe according to The Guardian “.
Miramar Palace (Palacio Miramar)
Visitors to the capital of Gipuzkoa who love hiking will also be attracted by the route to the Royal Palace of Miramar. Walk here along the promenade from the city center for about 25 minutes. The name of the palace means “look at the sea”, which emphasizes its “strategic” location with impressive views of La Concha Bay. Royal Palace was built in 1893, commissioned by the Spanish Royal House by the English architect Selden Wornum.
Funicular to Mount Igueldo (Funicular Monte Igueldo)
Not far from the palace, on the beach side of Ondaretta, there is a historical funicular to Mount Igueldo, where impressive views of the bay and the city open from above.
Wind Comb (Peine del Viento)
Walking further along the promenade to the end of the beach, you can reach one of the symbols of the capital of Gipuzkoa, a metal composition called “The Comb of the Wind”. The installation by the famous San Sebastian sculptor Eduardo Chillida was installed in 1977. It is made of twisted rusty rails, built into the rock at the end of the beach, through which the wave beating against the rocks passes with force. The installation reminds a person that nothing can resist the forces of nature.
nine0068 Entertainment
San Sebastian has its own casino. It is located in the city center at the address: C / Mayor Nº1. Also in the city there are many establishments with slot machines that work like bars.
Read more about this in the article: “ San Sebastian: everything you need to know about the most beautiful city in Spain “.
Thalassotherapy
nine0002 Located in the city center, La Perla Centro Talaso Sport Spa is a cozy sea water establishment right on the promenade of La Concha Beach. The complex also includes a restaurant and a cafe overlooking the bay.
Famous Pintxos
One of the Basque traditions is “chiquiteo” – going to bars to chat with friends. Txikito is a small portion of wine that you drink and move on. After all, every next bar has something new. Perhaps pintxos culture was born precisely because a person needed a quick bite to eat. One thing is clear: this number is pintxos – bars with excellent quality food are only found in Donostia San Sebastian and nowhere else in the world.
Entertainment
Aquarium Donostia-San Sebastian
The Museum of Oceanography or the Aquarium of San Sebastian has been operating since 1928. It is located on the pier in the Palace of the Sea. There is a 480 m² swimming pool with an underwater tunnel with a panoramic view. The oceanarium is complemented by themed aquariums and ponds. nine0003
New Year’s Markets and Squares
New Year’s markets are set up in the squares of the old town. Such mercados offer cider or wine, hot dogs or traditional chuletta (beef steak on the bone), fried padrone peppers or sheep cheese with quince marmalade. And those who have not yet felt dizzy from food and drinks can get even more impressions on the Ferris wheel.
Parks and squares around Christmas and New Year are decorated to create a sense of celebration, especially for kids. Festive “henbanes”, New Year trees and carousels are installed in them. The smell of fresh baked goods is in the air. nine0003
More information about Christmas markets in the article “ Top 5 Christmas Markets in Spain “.
Surf lessons
Surfers never get cold and never miss an opportunity to enjoy the waves. Even in winter. Although the water in San Sebastian is not so cold in winter: the Gulf Stream, the warm sea current of the Atlantic Ocean, maintains the water temperature around 14 degrees. A favorite spot for surfers is Zurriola Beach, San Sebastian’s liveliest and most colorful sandy beach. nine0003
Shopping and winter sale
San Sebastian is filled with an incredible number of fashion stores for all tastes.

Thoughts from the road – Tenerife we have arrived and we need vacation
We have left Gran Canaria and arrived in Tenerife. This week’s thoughts from the road are about vacation, vaycay, staycation or whatever you want to call it. Because how awkward does it sound when I say that I would really love a vacation? We are traveling and exploring full time – how can we talk about vacation?
Table of Contents
From Gran Canaria to Tenerife
Since Gran Canaria has so much to offer, we stayed almost two months on the island. Finally, we felt that we needed to move on so that we could explore some of Tenerife to! And it was super easy. We came to the harbor about 16.30 and then we were on the ferry by 18. 00, no reservations, nothing.
And then about 80 minutes later we arrived in Tenerife. We have checked into a camping (the best so far since our arrival to the Canary Islands) and are getting some work done. Next in line is to make a plan for our weeks here in Tenerife. After that, it is time to make a trip to Sweden and get some work done. Mini will be traveling the country, taking pictures and I will be freelancing for the local newspaper.
Working mode all the time
I do believe that we have the best job in the world! We get to travel all the time and explore new countries and new destinations all the time. But it also means that we are never really free of work. Each time we visit a city, a museum or even when we go diving – we are always working. Mini, taking pictures in different angles and trying to squeeze in some videos. Me, taking notes – both on paper and mental.
And every time we go to a restaurant it’s the same thing. Is this a good place? Will we write a post on it? Will it be mentioned in an article? All the time, every day and even at night. Several ideas for articles come to me when I sleep. I wake up and have a plan for something new. Our brains are always in work mode!
We love our way of living – creating content
And at the same time, I love the saying “If you do something you love you will never work another day in your life”. We love what we do and we often talk about how lucky we are to be able to live this way. It has been three years now since we became full-time travelers and we wouldn’t want to change it. But I would love to be able to “shut my brain off”. We would love to book a liveaboard diving trip and just leave the cameras and computers in the motorhome.
At the same time that would not work. We need to constantly find new things that we can write about. Sure it’s easy to complain but at the same time, I’m pretty sure that the second my computer is gone, I would miss it. It has become a lifestyle, a part of us and we don’t want to change it!
Workcation is the way to go
My best friend has a really popular podcast. She does Swedens largest true crime pod and we are super proud of her. “Mordpodden” is a full-time job for her and at the same time, she is often talking about taking the weekends off and not work. For us that sounds impossible. For her, it’s the only way that works. She works Monday to Friday and then she hangs with her family and friends on weekends.
I admire that – her way of being able to leave the work and do something else. And now I notice that it sounds like we are glued to the camera and computer 24 hours a day and that’s not true either. But at the end of the day, the computer is likely to be up and some sort of writing is done. Now we are going to do a test for “Allt om Resor” and we will be trying out walking poles and hiking boots. What better place to do that than in the Canary Islands! That will be a great workcation.
Are there any other digital nomads or full time travelers reading this – it would be great to hear how you separate work from life!

I want to share with you my opinion about this hotel! The hotel has many pluses and minuses! I’ll start with the pros: Good location, first line, access to the beach, beautiful view from the room, wherever you are given a room, you will have an ocean view! The kitchen is simply amazing, for all 7 days I have not found a dish that was not tasty! The choice of dishes is large, many types of cheese, jamon and sausages, seafood and many different fruits, fresh juices for breakfast, the staff is friendly! Cleaning every day! nine0205 A big plus is a warm pool! Good free Wi-Fi.
Now what I didn’t like: One socket in the room. The rooms are a bit tired, in building B the room was already very shabby when they moved to building A there is a little better! The pool is a little shabby but not critical, the tiles near the pools have sagged a little and you can see the sharp corners about which the tourist got hurt, the sunbeds are crushed, which once again indicates the need for reinnovation!
A very noisy area, in building B it is very difficult to sleep, the music plays very loudly until 2 am, we were moved to building A overlooking the pool, it was better and quieter, they moved without problems, I understand that this is a common thing with them! nine0205 For dinner, all drinks including water for a fee, you can not bring anything with you! There are very few parking spaces, but at the top near the hotel there is a hotel parking only for a fee! Items were handed over to the security room, no complaints, they were used twice! In conclusion, I want to say that if I come to Tenerife again, I will settle only here!

What our customers say
“When boarding the Azura, it was just like wow, this ship is awesome!
There were a couple of niggly points like the WiFi etc, but nothing major. As for the staff, they were wonderful – especially our room steward
Before leaving Southampton we had the standard protocol for the life jackets etc which was ok. The food on board was pretty much great with only a couple of exceptions, but nothing much to write home about.
The excursions that I had booked were all very well done, although I booked most of those through a third party company rather than P&O. The only one I booked through P&O was the excursion to the aquarium in Alesund. I must admit – the time allotted for this was a bit on the short side, but as we had already bought a hop on and hop off bus ticket, we decided to stay and use the bus to get back to ship rather than the coach.
The other excursions to Stavanger, Olden and Bergen were all very well done, and I must admit the Olden excursion with the walking tour was very enjoyable. Olden isn’t very big, and she was extremely knowledgeable of the area – and even had one of the houses we went past in the family.
We thoroughly enjoyed the cruise, all the entertainment that was put on and would recommend this to anyone!

Fantastic experience.Beautiful scenery.Cabin perfect .Good food .Bars prices value for money .
Azura was our first cruise ship and she proved a bit of a challenge to find our way around. Fortunately our cabin was near midships which made life easier. All the staff were extremely friendly and the food was excellent. Particularly in the formal restaurant. We didn’t really take full advantage of all the facilities or activities but we will on our next cruise which is already booked. We thought the excursions were quite expensive so We only did one. We were extremely lucky with the weather and the fjords were amazing. Truly bitten by the cruise bug.
Lovely ship good size but a little tired in places. The staff were excellent.

The Belén de Arena (Christmas scenes made of sand) festival on Las Canteras Beach has been a major Christmas attraction in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria for several years now. The outdoor exhibition will run until January 8th. During this time, the organizers plan to break last year’s record – in 2016, 214,000 people came to see unusual creations made of sand, and the collected 28,000 euros were used to support the public canteens of the capital of Gran Canaria. nine0003
Traditionally, one can find ancient Egyptian motifs in the Belén de Arena exhibits. In addition, a significant part of the henbanes tells about the travels of the Magi. This year, the pyramids and figures, reaching a height of four meters, are concentrated mainly on the “exhibition area” of the beach, presenting a more majestic composition. The sculptors claim that in this way “visitors will be able to see the whole ensemble and the connection between several nativity scenes.” nine0003
In 2017, the festival takes place for the twelfth time on Christmas Eve. Nine professionals from all over Europe took part in the creation of sand sculptures and installations. Students from the Canary Institutes of Arts also contributed to the work.

Christmas ruined: quarantine ruined German holiday plans
The last week before Christmas in Germany was the week with the highest incidence of COVID-19 in the entire pandemic: from 14 to 20 December, 175,314 people were infected with coronavirus in Germany, which is a record. During the same period, 4,303 residents of the country died from the consequences of the disease. It is also the highest weekly increase in COVID-19 deaths. So far, the record number of deaths per week was recorded from December 7 to 13, it was 3,050.
All of this is happening against the backdrop of new, tougher quarantine measures adopted by the federal government, which came into effect on December 16th. In Germany, all retail outlets are closed until at least January 10, except for food, hardware and some other stores selling essential goods. Hairdressers, beauty and massage parlors, tattoo parlors and similar establishments do not work. Only banks, post offices, car repair shops, gas stations, pharmacies, newsstands, pet stores are open. nine0003
A maximum of two households (maximum five people) are allowed to meet in private houses and apartments. This rule does not apply to children under 14 years of age.
A general ban on gatherings has been introduced for the New Year holidays. You can not drink alcohol in public places from December 16 to January 10.
Schools and kindergartens have been closed since December 16, except for special cases. Bars, restaurants and other gastronomic establishments remain closed from November 2, but it will still be possible to order food and drinks to take home or take away. nine0003
Another Christmas
For many Germans, this Christmas and New Year will be very different from previous or future ones. No Christmas markets and even the usual stalls with mulled wine and hot chestnuts, no Christmas concerts, no massive fireworks and large-scale festivities on New Year’s Eve. In fact, the coronavirus has forced people out of public space and is turning the holiday into a celebration within four walls.
Millions of families in Germany are faced with a dilemma: take the risk of going to relatives and friends or staying at home, sacrificing the usual festive atmosphere and depriving their society of 70-80-year-old grandparents. In any case, Christmas 2020 will not be accompanied by many of the rituals that this holiday is directly associated with. nine0003
The indignation of many Germans, with whom the TASS correspondent spoke, is caused, first of all, by the fact that the country’s authorities promised the exact opposite – when extending the “light” lockdown on November 25, they even justified the adoption of measures by the fact that it is better to suffer a little, but then give people relax on christmas and new year holidays. It was planned to lift a number of restrictions in the period from 24 to 26 December. “These days (at Christmas) are especially important for family and social cohesion,” the document said at the time following the meeting of the chancellor with the heads of regions. nine0003
This, however, did not happen. The authorities only allowed a maximum of ten residents to meet, but we should talk about close relatives. A number of regions subsequently canceled any indulgences. As a result, many citizens of Germany are disappointed, the pandemic has split society and brought a political charge to the family holiday, which has always, regardless of its religious content, been really important in terms of uniting the Germans.
Before Christmas, amid a high number of new infections, the German government once again urged residents to limit contact. “Do not travel. Avoid, if possible, visiting relatives and friends,” said Cabinet spokeswoman Ulrike Demmer. nine0003
Every second German is for a ban on Christmas services
Despite the fact that, unlike the quarantine during the first wave of the pandemic, holiday services are not banned in principle, they are unlikely to take place in their usual form. The authorities of the federal states have declared the need to work out, together with religious communities, the concept of organizing events for Christmas. So far, at least chants are banned. In addition, it is necessary to observe the rules of social distance and wear protective masks. The Evangelical Church in Germany has strongly recommended not to participate in worship services. nine0003

How the coronavirus won in the UK Christmas
In general, all this means that the Germans are waiting for mostly online services and the lonely voice of the pastor in the empty walls of churches. Yes, and there will be no influx of applicants. One in two Germans are in favor of a ban on Christmas masses this year, according to a YouGov poll.
According to the results of the study, which was attended by more than 2 thousand people, 50% of respondents were in favor of the abolition of open worship. Only 35% consider it important to adhere to this tradition, another 15% found it difficult to answer. Moreover, only 6% of the survey participants expressed their desire to go to church, 87% said they would not do so. nine0003
Travel is not prohibited
The German government and the Länder have advised Germans not to travel anywhere. However, in principle, travel is not prohibited, and according to a YouGov poll, 9% of Germans intend to go to friends and relatives, and 1% even plans to go on vacation to other countries. True, hotels inside Germany are not allowed to accommodate tourists, only in some regions of the country there are special rules regarding the reception of people who visit relatives on Christmas. nine0003
Despite the fact that in most regions of Germany a person will have to be quarantined upon returning from abroad, some people dare to go abroad.

Pandemic holidays: between the third wave and the collapse of European ski tourism
For example, more than 4,000 flights are scheduled from December 18 to January 10 at Munich Airport, most of them domestic. But about 100 flights will be carried out to the Canary Islands, 50 to the USA, about 60 to Asian countries, primarily to Abu Dhabi, Doha and Dubai. In addition, it is possible to fly to South Africa for the holidays. In total, about 200 thousand passengers are expected in the air harbor during this time. True, for comparison, in December last year, the airport served about 120 thousand people a day. nine0003
In Europe, certain regions that have not yet been declared high-risk areas due to COVID-19 by the German authorities are now in Austria, Greece, Ireland, Norway, Finland, France and Estonia. To them are added, in particular, the Portuguese Madeira, the British Isle of Man, Guernsey, which are part of the Kingdom of Denmark, Greenland and the Faroe Islands. The German airline Condor offers flights to the Dominican Republic, the Maldives and Cuba.
At the same time, the example of the UK, which was cut off from continental Europe in a short period of time due to a new strain of coronavirus, certainly cannot but affect cautious Germans, for sure, forcing many of them to still sacrifice holidays for the sake of safety and refuse to travel . nine0003
Losses for companies
According to the Institute for German Economics in Cologne, retail outlets will lose a total of up to €22.05 billion due to the new quarantine. Economists have calculated that in December alone, the damage will be from €10.2 billion to € 13.35 billion, in January, with an optimistic scenario of the development of the situation – up to €5.7 billion, with a pessimistic scenario – up to €8.7 billion. , will account for 60% of revenue compared to December 2019of the year. This is about €12 billion, about 250 thousand jobs are at risk.

All about the coronavirus: a selection of relevant materials
The assistance programs agreed by the German authorities are unlikely to be able to compensate for all the losses from the lockdown. The German government has promised to help firms and private entrepreneurs: the total amount of funds allocated for these purposes will be €11 billion per month. The maximum amount of assistance to an individual company in January was increased from €200,000 to €500,000
The first “victims” of the lockdown are already here: Kaethe Wohlfahrt, one of Germany’s best-known Christmas decoration firms, has filed for bankruptcy protection due to financial difficulties. The company’s losses are estimated at millions of euros. Now 300 employees are employed part-time, several hundred seasonal workers this year were not involved in the manufacture of products. Kaethe Wohlfahrt pavilions could be found in about 60 Christmas markets in Germany. The company sells toys and action figures online, but online sales cannot cover all losses. nine0003
After it became known that a strict quarantine was introduced on December 16, the Germans rushed to the shops to buy gifts and goods necessary for the celebration, such as dishes. Queues lined up in front of souvenir shops, hairdressers, and shopping centers. So the traditional pre-Christmas fuss fell in Germany in mid-December. Now only the illumination of streets and houses, as well as the number of people in grocery stores, are reminiscent of Christmas.
The streets of Berlin, even in the center of the city, are unusually deserted, especially since the weather has been gloomy and rainy this week. At the Brandenburg Gate, a Christmas tree stands alone, decorated with festive illumination, there are practically no tourists. nine0003
New Year without fireworks
If Christmas, celebrated on December 24-26, is a quiet family holiday, then on New Year’s Eve, most Germans usually rushed to the streets to participate in New Year’s shows held in the country’s cities, and be sure to set firecrackers into the sky.
However, the night of January 1st will now be much quieter. On Tuesday, the German Ministry of the Interior announced that the sale of pyrotechnics in Germany amid a pandemic and the danger of overloading the healthcare system will not be carried out. In addition, the authorities of cities and communes have the right to prohibit fireworks in busy squares and streets. nine0003
Thousands of people end up in hospitals every year due to careless handling of pyrotechnics. The authorities believe that in the current conditions this threatens to seriously complicate the work of doctors. At the moment, intensive care units in Berlin clinics alone are almost 90% full, with the proportion of patients with COVID-19 being almost 30%.

+: Great hotel, clean rooms, lovely, friendly staff, comfortable beds, everything you need is in the room. Very convenient location: very close to the airport (literally 5 minutes by car) and is located on the very shore of the ocean. Great beach! -: you can slightly improve the quality of breakfast0133 Rest 08/19/2019
+: In reality, everything looks better than in the photo. Great beds, pillows, bathroom. Everything is great, including the staff! -: There were no slippers in the room, it would have been appropriate given that there is a balcony. There was a problem with the barrel in the bathroom, but it was fixed very quickly. Great staff!

Lorina Rest 02/06/2019
+: Great location, great room with a balcony with a great ocean view. Friendly and competent staff. I liked everything except breakfast – meager and monotonous. And let the weather down. -: It is necessary to diversify the breakfast menu by providing something hot, in addition to bacon and eggs.

+: Access to the beach. -: Poor sound insulation, you can hear your neighbors very much. The pool is under renovation.

Andrei_mgn Rest to the main attractions on the northern part of the island, breakfasts are hearty, but monotonous, the staff is moderately friendly. -: Something needs to be done with soundproofing, it’s just a disaster. In addition to the planes taking off, you can hear everything that happens in the corridor.

excellent 9000 An excellent hotel in every respect. Located between the airport and the capital of the island. Accordingly, it is very convenient to get there. It is quite possible to walk to the city on foot, and from there – to any point of the island by bus (for example, it costs only 7.5 euros to get to the popular windkite surf resort of Corralejo). The beach is right next to you, in the summer it should be just great. Wifi is very fast, breakfast is great! Time of stay: January 2018

Cafe – so-so. The promised tennis court does not work, the shuttle to the airport described in the description of the hotel does not exist. In fact, you can only get there by taxi or your own car. From the airport once an hour – by bus. Back – only by taxi. Very good administrators! They helped as much as they could and even more! Stayed: November 2017
