Sioux Falls Arena
My atlas shows a marker for the Sioux Falls Arena.
It’s in the northwest part of town south of the airport.
Newer maps may include the many landmarks listed below.
What landmarks should I look for?
Sioux Falls Convention Center
There’s not much too see until you’re near it, this is mainly a residential part of town.
What you can keep in mind is that it is due south of the airport. Russell Ave is
on the north side of what has become a major complex. The ballpark was the latest part of the
renovation with the skyboxes, exterior wall and more.
Sheraton Hotel
Originally there was only the Arena, Football (Track) field and the Bird Cage. But there
has been lots of big expansion including a new Convention Center and a new Sheraton Hotel
attached to them. Parking was expanded in all directions.
What you should bring with you?
Like the other Sioux counterpart, this is a warm summer park. Only a light jacket or sweatshirt is needed for night games.
Day games are bright and sunny, bring sunscreen. Since there usually a breeze, it is normally pleasant to sit through without too much heat.
Shelter from rain under the bleachers, skyboxes and canopy look adequate for brief downpours.

Google Maps learned how to calibrate using the camera
Google has updated the maps application for Android and added the ability to calibrate not with a compass, but with a map. During this process, the smartphone determines its location and direction using Google Street View data from the surrounding houses, road signs, and other prominent objects. The feature, not yet presented by Google, was noticed by the site 9to5Google.
In 2018, Google showed at its annual I/O conference an early prototype of a new feature for Google Maps, augmented reality navigation where the user sees pointers and arrows overlaid on the world in a camera. The function is based on a set of algorithms that calculates the location based on Street View data and user photos uploaded to the service. After testing with a limited number of users, the company released this feature in mid-2019year, and then made it available in most countries, including Russia.
For the most accurate positioning and especially determining the direction, the Google Maps application, until recently, periodically offered the user to calibrate the compass: for this, it is necessary to move the smartphone, describing it in the air with a figure eight. In general, such a calibration worked well, but not always, and besides, it is simply inconvenient.
In mid-July 2020, users of the Google Maps app on Android discovered that the company had added the ability to calibrate maps using the camera without public announcement. Judging by the interface of this function, it is based on the same algorithms as navigation in augmented reality.
To start, click on the blue dot showing the location of the device. After that, four items will appear on the screen, including determining the location using the camera. Then you need to give the application access to the camera (if this has not been done before) and move the smartphone around, capturing buildings and other prominent objects in the camera.

Abstract
Objectives:
The Canary Islands are considered one of the first places where Atlantic slave plantations with labourers of African origin were established, during the 15th century AD. In Gran Canaria (Canary Islands, Spain), a unique cemetery dated to the 15th and 17th centuries was discovered adjacent to an ancient sugar plantation with funerary practices that could be related to enslaved people. In this article, we investigate the origin and possible birthplace of each individual buried in this cemetery, as well as the identity and social status of these people.
Materials and methods:
The sample consists of 14 individuals radiocarbon dated to the 15th and 17th centuries AD. We have employed several methods, including the analysis of ancient human DNA, stable isotopes, and skeletal markers of physical activity.
Results:
1) the funerary practices indicate a set of rituals not previously recorded in the Canary Islands; 2) genetic data show that some people buried in the cemetery could have North-African and sub-Saharan African lineages; 3) isotopic results suggest that some individuals were born outside Gran Canaria; and 4) markers of physical activity show a pattern of labour involving high levels of effort.
Discussion:
This set of evidence, along with information from historical sources, suggests that Finca Clavijo was a cemetery for a multiethnic marginalized population that had being likely enslaved. Results also indicate that this population kept practicing non-Christian rituals well into the 17th century. We propose that this was possible because the location of the Canaries, far from mainland Spain and the control of the Spanish Crown, allowed the emergence of a new society with multicultural origins that was more tolerant to foreign rituals and syncretism.

Canary Island History
Music, stories, traditions, superstitions. ..
the imagination has always been a major facet of the unique Canarian culture.
In fact, long before the Guanche, Spanish
Conquest and post-Conquest history of
Tenerife, a combination of seamlessly interwoven legends and facts compose
the earliest chunk of this Atlantic tropical paradise.
Long before the revolutionary discovery that the world was not, in fact, a flat
table that would send sailors plunging into a black abyss should they sail too
far, very few ventured far into the mysterious Atlantic Ocean. There is, however,
evidence that the Canary Islands were known to Phoenicians, Greeks and Romans;
yet very few people who reached the sunny isles returned to tell about it. The
only possible explanation was naturally that the Atlantic Ocean was inhabited
by vicious ship-destroying, crew-devouring monsters and angry gods who created violent storms and massive whirlpools on a whim. The Atlantic Ocean became
the subject of epic legends, widely believed myths and great literary works.
In classical literature, the Canary Islands are often thought to be Paradise,
the so-called Fortunate Isles, or the Elysian fields at the end of the world
described in Homer’s Odyssey and Virgil’s Aeneid. Others believed
it to be the visible part of the lost continent of Atlantis. When Zeus punished
the Atlantes with debilitating volcano eruptions and tidal waves, all but the
continent’s tips – now the Azores, Madeira, Cape Verde and Canary Islands –
sank far below the ocean’s surface.
The author Pliny the Elder (1st century, A.D.) tells of a Carthaginian expedition
to the Canary Islands sent by King Juba. They returned with giant dogs, from
which the the archipelago derives its name; “can” or “canes”
means “dog” in latin, and when the Carthaginians put a name to the
islands, they called them the “Insularia Canaria” (Islands of the
Dogs). Backing up the story, the islands still have native dogs today that are
thought to be the very dogs to which Pliny referred centuries and centuries
ago.
Legend has it that the Tenerife could even the lush Garden of Hesperydes, where
the Greek god Atlas’ three daughters (the Hesperydes) lived and cultivated gardens and apple
orchards. One of Greek superstar Hercules’ 12 legendary tasks was to kill the
fierce dragon – who, by the way, had 100 flaming heads working to his advantage – that
patrolled the surrounding seas and to then steal the Hesperydes’ apples.
Since the
dragon knew and trusted Atlas, Hercules made a deal: he would hold up the sky for Atlas
while Atlas killed the dragon and collected the apples. The story goes that
in every place that a drop of the dragon’s blood fell a tree grew. Known known
fittingly in the Canary Islands as their characteristic dragon tree, the tree
has a massive trunk with bunches of twisting branches resembling the dragon
and its many heads.

Canary Islands ᐉ UA-Football
Unlike another non-mainland autonomous community, Balearic Islands, the “Isles of Dogs” – that is how the name Canary is translated from Spanish – is, by and large, already Africa. They are much closer to, for example, Western Sahara than to mainland Spain. But it so happened historically that the Canary Islands were under the rule of a huge colonial Spanish empire – and remained one of the last fragments of its former power. Another interesting feature of the Canaries is the capital. There are, in general, two of them – Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Santa Cruz de la Tenerife. That is, the capital is one, but periodically, once every four years, it moves from one city to another. So that no one is offended. As you understand, the representatives of this region in the example are based in the capitals. nine0003
LAS Palmas-1951-1952, 1954-1960, 1964-1983, 1985-1988, 2000-2002
The highest achievement: 2nd place (1968/69)
“Union deporta las Palmas” was born on August 22, 1949. How? This will be answered by the abbreviation UD – a sports association. As many as five clubs in Gran Canaria have merged into one. And this whole was already playing in the Example two years later! And, mind you, not taking someone’s place – but honestly winning the playoffs first in Tercera, and then in the Segunda. nine0003
The first run turned out to be unsuccessful, but the team was clearly ready to fight for the elite – and after two seasons in the Segunda (spent under the sign of the fight for the coveted ticket) returned to the very top. There, she didn’t represent anything serious from herself – for example, an ordinary middle peasant from the second half of the standings (Los Amarillos never rose above the tenth place). This continued until the new reboot – four seasons in the Segunda. After them, “Las Palmas” came to Example in earnest and for a long time. nine0003
“For a long time” – this is for almost two decades, until 1983, the Canaries were represented in the elite by the “Yellows”. “Seriously” – these are two seasons in the late 60s, when the “dog lovers” challenged the strongest in the world of Spanish football. Almost all the strongest – because “Real” in those years was unstoppable. But all the rest…
In the 67/68 season, the Amarillos very quickly rose to the top three, occasionally rising even to the second place (the first, I repeat, in those years was practically unopposed behind the “creamy”). In the match of the 28th round, “Las Palmas” defeated “Atletico” 4:1 (he even challenged “Real” at the beginning of the championship, and then was blown away), “Barcelona” played a draw with “Malaga”. Both teams, Canary and Catalan, scored 36 points each. Formally, the “Yellows” were third, because the goal difference was better for “Barcelona” – in fact, the second, since personal meetings (by which, if the points are equal, the more successful team is determined at the end of the championship), they won. In general, it remained to win two matches, but .. . But the defeat from Real Madrid at the Bernabéu – the hosts scored the winning goal in the 77th minute – confused all the cards. Now it was necessary not only to win – but also to wait for defeat from the Blaugranas. nine0003
who played in San Sebastian. The islanders also took “Valencia”. In the first half, the “Yellows” both scored and then conceded. It was quiet in the north of the country. In the 64th minute of their match, Sociedad took the lead, and in the 75th minute, Las Palmas scored the second goal! If the matches had ended like this, then the islanders would have become the vice-champion. But after two minutes at the “Estadio Atocha” defender of “Barcelona” Gallego equalized. And the second were the Catalans.
“Las Palmas” took revenge in a year. The islanders took the second place after the second round – and almost did not concede it to anyone. Two days before the new one, 19In the 69th year, they lost to Real Madrid at the very equator of the championship – and Barça, thanks to just a draw, became the second. But already on January 5, Las Palmas regained its rightful position – and also only with a draw (Barca lost in San Sebastian). In the second round, the Catalans several times caught up with the southerners on points – but lost the main match, a personal meeting at home (having conceded the decisive goal in the 89th minute). And two rounds before the end of the championship gave up. The “yellow” lost these two remaining matches – but the mood at the same time was not at all what it was in the spring of 19On the 68th…
The team took off a few more times – not so high, but still noticeable. And in the early 70s to 5th place, and in the second half of the decade, when three seasons in a row she finished in the top seven. And the departure in 1983 was perceived as an unfortunate misunderstanding – especially since the Canarians soon returned, and not even for one season. Alas, in 1988, the glorious history of Las Palmas in the Example ended. Once again, for two seasons, Amarillos appeared in the elite already at the beginning of this century, having survived Segunda B before that. Now the team is firmly seated in the Segunda, only in 2013 trying to break into the elite – but lost the playoff semi-finals. nine0003
The highest achievement: 5th place (1992/93, 1995/96)
at the other Canary team History History performances in the Example is not so long and glorious. After a trial, “elevator” season in the early 60s, “Chicharreros” disappeared in a quagmire for a quarter of a century. In 1983, they were three defeats away from Tercera (then already the fourth division).
Only at the beginning 90’s about “Tenerife” learned in Spain – and even beyond its borders. The reason for this was amazing. By the will of the calendar, the islanders completed the championship with Real Madrid for two years in a row – and both times they deprived him of the league title! In 1992, Real Madrid scored two goals very quickly at Eliodoro Rodriguez – Hierro and Hadji – and felt very comfortable. Even the goal of future Barça player Quique Estebaranz in the 36th minute did not shake their confidence. But in the 69th minute, the defender of the guests Villaroya was removed from the field – and then everything went wrong, as planned by the coach of the guests Leo Beenhakker. Within two minutes, 77th and 78th, Tenerife scored twice (first with an own goal, then by themselves) – and in fact handed the gold medals to Barcelona. nine0003
A year has passed – and again, before the last round, Real Madrid was ahead of Barca by one point (then they still gave two points for a victory). And again he happened to fly to the Canary Islands. Where the “creamy” lost again, now without any special options – and Ivan Zamorano also got on his nerves at the end of the match. And “Chicharreros” secured the fifth place with that victory. It is curious that Juan Antonio Pizzi, the future owner of Pichichi-1995/96, did not score a single goal in those matches. There was someone to play without him. For example, Fernando Redondo – who, however, did not take part in those matches. And that Tenerife was coached by none other than Real Madrid legend of the 80s, Jorge Valdano. Of course, after tripping him like that at 19The 94th was invited to the post of the coach of the “Blancos”…
But Valdano didn’t finish before the island pogrom in the championship-95/96. Therefore, shame on “Eliodoro Rodriguez” – 0:3, two goals Pizzi – took over Arsenio Iglesias. (Even in the second round, Barça got it – at the Camp Nou they lost twice during the match, but still pulled out a draw.) Do you know who coached Tenerife then? Jupp Heynckes! Do I need to remind you that soon he, too, was at the “creamy” helm? But that will be later, and in 1996, “Chicharreros” finished fifth – and “Blancos” only sixth. Even under the leadership of Heynckes, the islanders reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup-96/97, where, with a total score of 1:2, they lost to the coach’s compatriots, Schalke.
In the 2001/02 season, for the first time in the history of La Liga, two Canary teams played there at the same time.

And what a wonderful administrator – so friendly, attentive! I definitely recommend everyone to go to this place when you visit Grand Canaria! Funny travesty show
This cabaret bar is located on the third floor of the Yumbo Center, the landmark is under the mini golf. The fashion program is built on world hits, on the whole soundly, but if you are on Flame del Inglés for 7-14 days, then the daily program is not much different, so you won’t see a special full house here, although you can drink a cocktail, since you don’t have to pay for watching take. nine0005

The best bar in Los Gigantes
If fate brought you and your friends company to Los Gigantes, then you should definitely visit this place! A large selection of beer in general is rare on the island, but here, the choice is still huge and for every taste! nine0652 With the interiors, everything is also very good: everything is tastefully chosen, including individual elements of decor. Live music here in the evening! Quality cover versions of popular hits! In addition, there are a couple of pool and air hockey tables. Noisy (in a good way), fun and friendly atmosphere with great live music, great selection of drinks and decent service! A very good place for a couple or a big company!

The Spaniards began to develop these territories in the 15th century, when they needed strongholds on their way to the New World. The Canary Islands were a place where one could take a last breath before a long and dangerous journey across the ocean. It is not surprising that this land was seen by many sailors, not knowing if they could see the shore again, as a real paradise.
However, those who have not been refused a Schengen visa and for whom Tenerife is the end point of the route will agree that the Canary archipelago, with its favorable climate and amazingly beautiful landscapes, is really a great place to relax. After all, it almost never gets colder than +22 degrees here, and the local nature allows you to feel like if not a jungle explorer, then certainly a real pioneer for sure. nine0005
Is there any reason to refuse a Schengen visa? Visit the most popular island of the Canary archipelago among Russian tourists!
This, of course, is Tenerife today. And one of the main reasons for its popularity among our compatriots is that there are direct flights to this island from Moscow. But even if they were not there, the beauty of Tenerife, of course, would still attract sophisticated Russian tourists. Moreover, everyone will find conditions for recreation here: both those who prefer the comfort of equipped hotel beaches, and those who are more interested in places where tourists rarely set foot. nine0005
Tenerife is the perfect combination of vibrant nightlife and relaxing daytime activities on the beach or natural attractions. By the way, there are quite a lot of the latter on the island. And this is not only the Teide volcano, which is known as the highest point of the kingdom and which every guest of the island considers it his duty to climb. It is also a national park surrounding the volcano, where you can admire the amazing combination of “lunar” landscapes and the richness of the plant world. Many claim that almost all plants that can be found on the globe grow in Tenerife. Of course, this is an exaggeration. But not too strong, because the flora of the island has more than 12 hundred different species. Here you can see creepers, cacti, and pine trees, the aroma of which makes the local air surprisingly pleasant and healing.

Great experience, whether it was the transport from the hotel, the explanation of the safety rules, and the diving itself. I was 100% beginner and Kate the instructor accompanied me very well and guided me throughout the session. I got to see some beautiful things I recommend anyone to try.
This was amazing. The instructors really helped and ensured your safety at all times. Not only encouraging you but really giving you an idea of the freedom and excitement of diving.
The team were a incredibly down to earth and friendly bunch.
After doing this I wanted more and will 100% be doing another and possibly taking the full course!
If you’re going to book a diving experience, this one with this team is worth every penny.

Things to do in Rome in February
1. Weather in Rome in February
February in Rome is one of the coldest and rainiest months of the year. However, even in winter in the subtropics there are enough sunny and clear days, which would be the envy of summer in countries with a more northern climate. February in Rome is already a couple of degrees warmer than January. But winter is still fighting for its rights, which will be reminded by rains and gusts of cold wind. However, something elusive in the air, in the watercolors in the sky, in the first delicate and timid colors anticipates the imminent approach of spring. And the closer to the end of February, the stronger this feeling. nine0003
Snowfall and frost in Rome in winter are very rare, and photos of frozen Roman fountains and snow against the backdrop of the Colosseum on the Internet only emphasize this fact, because this happens once every few years.
However, it was at the end of February 2018 that snow fell in Rome , brought by the insidious Siberian wind Buran, as the Italian media dubbed it. This has not happened for 6 years, since February 2012! But in 2012 there was light snow. But in 2018, something incredible happened: 3-4 cm of snow fell, the temperature dropped below zero at night, and the next morning the Eternal City woke up in a winter fairy tale 2 days before the calendar spring. However, such a natural phenomenon in Rome in February is a rarity and anomaly, not the norm.
Average daily temperature in Rome in February +9° C
Maximum daily temperature in Rome in February +14°
Minimum daily temperature in Rome in February +3°
2. Rome in February – how to dress?
As in other winter months in this part of Italy, autumn jacket or coat and comfortable waterproof shoes will be the best choice of clothes. Take a cue from the Romans – dress like cabbage . The sun warmed up – you can take off your jacket, it became colder – take out a hat with gloves.

Italians (like the French) are very fond of scarves and wear them almost in any weather, so you can’t go wrong if you bring or buy in Italy this stylish and practical accessory. It also doesn’t hurt to pack an umbrella and a waterproof raincoat in your suitcase if you have one.

3. Holidays in Rome in February
There are not so many holidays in February (compared to December and January, when there was a continuous series of holidays), but they are still there.
Roman Carnival / Carnevale Romano (February 13 – March 1, 2022)
The Roman authorities are currently deciding whether the carnival will take place this year.
Even if you have never personally attended the carnival in Venice , you must have heard about it. Without exaggeration, the Venice Carnival can be called the most famous in the world. But its Roman counterpart is much less known, although in fact the tradition of carnivals originates precisely in the Eternal City. Some of the customs and rituals of medieval carnivals date back to the ancient Roman Saturnalia and Lupercalia – pagan holidays of fertility and harvest, when it was allowed to do what was not allowed on ordinary days (for example, masters and slaves changed places, and during dinners at the festive table, faces were hidden behind masks ). nine0003
When paganism finally succumbed to the onslaught of Christianity, the traditional holidays did not disappear, but were adapted by the new religion, which invested its significance in them. The dates of carnivals began to depend on the date of the celebration of Easter. The beginning of the carnival (an analogue of Shrovetide among the Slavic peoples) is Sunday Septuagesima , or Pentecost, from which the countdown of 70 days from Easter and 3 weeks before the start of Lent begins.
Carnival end date is “Fat Tuesday”, also known as “Mardi Gras” (mardi gras) in French and martedì grasso in Italian. It is followed by “Ash Wednesday” – the beginning of Lent in the Catholic rite, or the 46th day before the Easter holiday.
Tuesday (Ash Wednesday Eve) was nicknamed Fat because it was the last day when one could indulge in excesses in food (and not only) and fun. And the very word carnevale, according to one version, means “goodbye, meat!” , since immediately after the end of the carnival, Great Lent begins, during which believers must refrain from fast food. nine0003
For centuries, starting from the 10th century, it was the Roman Carnival that was considered one of the main and largest and competed for this title with the Venice Carnival. Carnival in Rome was held with the high permission of the Pope in the presence of the nobility, celebrities and influential people from all over the world.
It was a lavish celebration, during which folk festivals, theatrical performances, processions of masks of the Italian Commedia dell’Arte were organized , street concerts and jousting. During the days of the carnival, food and money were distributed free of charge. On “Fat Tuesday”, on the eve of the beginning of Lent, at dusk, candles (mocoletti) were lit, which symbolized purification, and they played a game – everyone tried to knock the candle out of the neighbor’s hands and at the same time keep their own.
The French writer Alexandre Dumas, describing in his book The Count of Monte Cristo the unrestrained atmosphere of the carnival in Rome, wrote: “…Piazza del Popolo was a picture of a cheerful and noisy orgy. Masks flocked in crowds from everywhere, jumped out of doors, climbed out of windows; from all the streets came carriages loaded with pierros, harlequins, dominoes, marquises, transteverantes, clowns, knights, peasants; they all shouted, waved their arms, threw eggs, confetti stuffed with flour, bouquets, showered jokes and projectiles on their own and others, acquaintances and strangers, and no one had the right to be offended – everyone was answered with laughter “.
But the main spectacle of the Roman Carnival was the race on Barbary horses , which took place between Piazza del Popolo and Piazza Venezia, right along the modern Via del Corso (then Via Lata). Of course, a wild horse race was not safe for spectators, and in the 19th century, after several fatal accidents (and due to a change in the political situation), the Roman carnival was effectively banned.
The revival of the Roman Carnival took place in 2009, and on a much smaller scale – Venice remains the absolute carnival capital. Far from all the traditions of the Roman carnival have survived to this day (after all, many of them cannot be called safe), its duration does not exceed one week, but partly its magic returned to the Roman squares and streets .
The Roman carnival is inferior to the Venetian one in terms of duration and scale. The main events usually start a week before Ash Wednesday. nine0003
But still, this is also a colorful event. Horse guard performances, vintage horse-drawn carriages, theatrical performances, street concerts, processions of masks, a costume contest and a free tasting of Italian dishes – this is an exemplary program of events in Rome. Also, the carnival is considered a children’s holiday, and at this time you can see a lot of Italian kids in masks and costumes on the streets, throwing confetti into the air.

Pigalle walks
Weather permitting, and February is full of sunny days, be sure to take a walk in the Pigalle district, one of the oldest places in the city. In the past, Pigalle Square was considered a red-light district, attracting residents and guests of the capital with spicy entertainment.
Representatives of the creative intelligentsia did not bypass this area either. Pablo Picasso, for example, lived here for a while. Who knows, perhaps it was during this period that the Spanish artist created his masterpiece – “The Girls of Avignon”. nine0003 Pigalle quarter in Paris
Today, the Pigalle quarter has been chosen by numerous sex shops and strip bars. One of the most interesting sights of this area is the Museum of Erotica, located not far from the frivolous Moulin Rouge. 4 floors of the gallery are occupied by sensual paintings and statues frozen in candid poses. “Bed” art is dedicated to the intimate games of different peoples of the world. Paris in February will experience mostly gentle to moderate breezes of 13-29 kph (8-18 mph) but can occasionally get up to 30-39 kph (19-24 mph) with brief higher gusts.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR IN FEBRUARY?
February continues to be a cold month so dress for winter! We’ve made a list of some essentials to pack below:
1. Winter Coat
Packing a winter coat is a good idea, like this one from Orolay. Down jackets are great for keeping warm!
Be sure to pack gloves, a scarf, and a hat as well for when you’re out exploring Paris all day.
2. Rain Coat
Since most days will be cloudy with a high chance of rain, a raincoat is a good thing to pack.
It’s also a great alternative to wear on milder days, layered with a sweater.
3. Boots
A good pair of boots plus some good walking shoes would also be recommended, as well as an umbrella or raincoat for those rainy days.
Boots like these from Sorel will keep you warm and comfortable all day long.

Albania in February: Travel Tips, Weather & More
Weather
Balkan Albania, in southeastern Europe, enjoys a Mediterranean climate. While summers are hot, winters tend to be relatively mild, especially compared to more northern parts of Europe. However, there’s quite a lot of variety within the geographically small country, with the climates of the coast and mountains different from each other.
While February temperatures can drop well below freezing in the mountains and at higher altitudes, coastal and lower-lying areas of Albania have relatively mild winters. The capital city, Tirana, is cold in February but not exceptionally so: its average monthly temperature is around 55°F (7°C). Cities farther inland, like Korçë, are a bit colder, averaging 37°F (3°C), while coastal areas are warmer.
In general, Albania receives a lot of rain in winter, which can cause problems in mountainous areas, with landslides common.
Crowds & Costs
Along with the rest of winter, February is the low season for tourism in Albania. However, the country is never as busy as many other countries in the region, even during the busier summer peak season. Albanian ski resort areas (especially those in the country’s southeast) are most active between January and mid-March. Most travelers who visit Albania in winter come for the skiing. Still, even the country’s ski resorts are less busy than those elsewhere in Europe. Albania has been called one of the most affordable ski destinations in Europe.
While off-season travel can be a great way to experience some places without the crowds, it’s worth noting that many resorts and restaurants on the popular Albanian Riviera are seasonal and closed for winter.

Where to Go
To enjoy a mild winter city break in February, check out Albania’s underrated capital, Tirana. Its mixture of Ottoman and Soviet-era architecture is quite unlike any other European capital. Don’t miss the derelict Piramida, the monuments around Skanderbeg Square, the National History Museum, and Bunk’Art, a museum and gallery in an underground bunker.
Located slightly inland and roughly halfway down the country, Tirana is also a convenient jumping-off point for day and overnight trips elsewhere in Albania. Head to Krujë, north of Tirana, on a day trip to check out the medieval castle and the mountain views. To the south of the capital and a little farther afield is lovely Berat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with well-preserved Ottoman architecture.
What to Do
Albania’s ski season runs from January to mid-March, so February is a reliable time to hit the slopes. Head to south-eastern Albania for great ski runs and far fewer people than in the mountains of neighboring European countries. However, the resorts are somewhat less developed than you’d find elsewhere.
The city of Korçë is a good base for snow adventures to ski fields in the Morava Mountains nearby, as well as popular Bigëll/ Dardhë and Voskopojë. Korçë is on a high plateau, and there are cultural attractions to enjoy here, too, when you need a break from skiing, such as visiting the National Museum of Medieval Art and the Ngjallja e Krishtit Cathedral.

From UGS facilities in Europe for the season 2020

…
Only 29% of gas reserves remain in UGS facilities.
Moscow, April 5 – IA Neftegaz.RU. At the end of the season of gas extraction from underground gas storages (UGS) in Europe, a record volume of gas was raised during the publication of open data – 65. 6 billion m 3 .
Gazprom announced this on its Telegram channel.
According to Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE), on March 25, 2021, the gas withdrawal season from UGS facilities in Europe ended. nine0019
The volume of selection was a record since 2011
The previous maximum was recorded in 2017-2018, when Europe was covered by the Beast from the East.
So in Europe they called the cyclone, which brought abnormal cold weather with snowfall in February-March 2018.
By March 21, 2018, the occupancy of European UGS facilities was only 19.78%, which allowed Gazprom to set a record for gas supplies in 2018.
Winter season 2020-2021 left only 29% of gas reserves in UGSFs in Europe. nine0019
At the same time, in Germany and Austria – 26% each, in the Netherlands – 23%, in France – 17%.
These countries are included in the 5 ku largest in terms of gas storage capacity.
To restore reserves in UGS facilities, Europe needs to pump in 57. 3% or 23.9 bcm more gas than in 2019
This additional volume is comparable to Gazprom’s total gas exports in 2020 to such large consumers as France and the Netherlands.
That is, the campaign to fill storage facilities that has begun promises to be one of the largest since 2011.
And one of the key factors for the increased demand for gas in the European market. On April 2, 2021, Gazprom reported that in Q1 Q gas supplies to non-CIS countries increased by 30.7% or by 12.4 bcm 3 to 52.7 bcm 3 .
Recall that at the beginning of February 2021, gas reserves of European UGS facilities fell below 40% due to the atmospheric ice front that covered Europe.
However, as early as 2 and half of February 2021, the cold weather receded and warm favorable weather set in, followed by a decrease in gas withdrawals and reserves began to recover, which in turn led to a decrease in spot prices. nine0019
But at the beginning of March 2021, the cold weather returned, and the temperature dropped below normal again.
In addition, in January 2021, Gazprom began to artificially restrain gas supplies to Europe amid rising prices.
Gazprom removed excess gas from the market in order to avoid a situation in 2020, when an excess of gas in underground storage facilities led to a collapse in prices.
Fearing that the conclusion of a transit contract with Ukraine would be thwarted, Gazprom pumped too much gas into underground storage facilities to supply European consumers with fuel in a stable manner when the temperature drops. nine0005

Next winter will be even worse. IEA predicts gas shortage in Europe | Economy | Money
Evgeniy Nikotvenko

/ ANTON ZUBCHEVSKYI / Shutterstock. com
Warm weather and a high level of occupancy of underground gas storage facilities will allow Europe to survive the coming winter relatively safely, Fatih Birol, Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA), said on Haberturk on December 27 . But by March, UGS stocks will drop to a third of their total capacity, replenishing them will be much more difficult, and next winter will be a real test for the EU. “The risks for Europe this winter are quite low as European gas storage facilities are 90% full. If nothing unforeseen happens and the winter is not cold and long, Europe will survive it,” Fatih Birol said in particular and added: “But in February-March, the stocks in storage will decrease to 30% and increase them to 80-90% by next winter will be very difficult. Get ready for next winter. Next winter will be much harder than this one.”
The reason for the shortage is China and the Russian Federation
An international official substantiated his forecast with the possible complete cessation of gas supplies from Russia, as well as the cancellation of pandemic restrictions in China planned next year, which will provoke an increase in LNG consumption in this country. “This year, China’s imports of liquefied natural gas have decreased, but will increase in the future. It will buy the main volumes of LNG, and there will be little left for Europe. In addition, Europe is still receiving Russian gas this year, in the future it will most likely not be, ”said Birol. nine0005
Russia provided 40-45% of European gas consumption, but after the start of a special operation in Ukraine, the EU countries began to increase LNG purchases and reduce the supply of our pipeline gas. As a result, this autumn we transported only 70-80 million cubic meters to Europe every day. m (through the “Turkish stream” and through the Ukrainian GTS), while a year ago this figure did not fall below 300 million cubic meters. m, and on peak days it exceeded 400 million cubic meters. At the same time, European LNG imports grew by 44.5 billion cubic meters in the first 10 months of this year. m – up to 107 billion cubic meters. But liquefied gas producers were not ready for such a huge increase in purchases – according to the independent agency Rystad Energy, global demand for LNG in 2022 will amount to 436 million tons, and the supply will not exceed 410 million tons. With the end of the Chinese lockdown, the shortage of LNG in the market will only increase, which will predetermine price increases and make it extremely difficult to provide European consumers with energy next winter. nine0005
Russia warned
The International Energy Agency is certainly a very authoritative organization. But 2 days earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said almost the same thing . “With the latest decisions to introduce a ceiling on gas prices … Western colleagues are provoking a deep long-term crisis, destabilization in Europe,” a Russian official told reporters on December 25 and even substantiated his opinion in detail, “Lockdowns in China restrained demand growth, and warm weather reduced consumption in Europe. However, even despite this, the Europeans had to reduce gas consumption this year by 40-50 billion cubic meters. m of gas due to the closure of enterprises for the production of fertilizers, gas chemistry, and metallurgy. Novak also pointed out that domestic gas production in the European Union will fall in the medium term due to the limited resources of Norway and the UK, and, taking into account all factors, concluded that Europe is facing “an imminent gas shortage.” At that time, European capitals were skeptical about the statements of the Russian Deputy Prime Minister, perhaps the words of the IEA Executive Director will be taken more seriously there. nine0005
But so far, according to forecasts, Europe is fully supplied with gas. The storage occupancy level does not fall below 80%, the cost of natural gas is gradually falling. During trading on December 28, quotes fell by 4.3% to $837 per 1,000 cubic meters. m, although during the year the peak values reached 3.8 thousand dollars per 1 thousand cubic meters. m. In the European gas supply, unlike the proverb, cubic meters are counted in the spring. In March, data on actual reserves in UGS facilities will appear, which will say a lot about the prospects for the EU energy market in the coming years.

14 of the best hotels with swim-up rooms in Tenerife
There’s something delightfully indulgent about a swim-up room. Diving into a pool just steps from your bed makes pre-breakfast dips a doddle, even if your partner is keen to doze for a little longer. Bring the family, and you can keep an eye on the kids splashing around from the chair on your terrace, calling them in for extra sun cream as the day warms up.
With year-round sunshine, every day is a pool day in Tenerife, so you’ll really feel the value of a swim-up room. They are more common in the island’s sunnier south, with most in the popular resorts of Costa Adeje and Playa de las Americas, but you’ll also find them in hotels located in smaller villages or standing in splendid isolation. These are luxurious stays, but for better value, look for swim-up rooms that give direct access onto a shared pool. If you’re happy to spend more, some properties offer both suites and villas with private pools.

The Best Tenerife hotel complex is located in the southern part of the island, not far from the center of the resort of Playa de las Americas. Only three hundred meters separate the hotel from the wonderful Vistas beach with fine light yellow sand and a large fountain in the middle.
The multi-storey residential building is surrounded by lush tropical greenery. It offers comfortable rooms with spacious furnished balconies offering panoramic views of the city and the ocean. The walls of the rooms are painted in apricot tones, which are in perfect harmony with the cinnamon-colored wood furniture and sand-colored bedspreads in dark blue and olive stripes.

For those guests who do not want to swim in the ocean, there is a large pool with a waterfall, reminiscent of a lagoon with a bridge thrown over it. The second pool is smaller and heated in winter.
Golf fans can enjoy their favorite game at the magnificent eighteen-hole Golf Las Américas, located two kilometers from the hotel.
Less than a ten-minute drive away is one of the largest water parks in the world, Siam, a visit to which will especially please travelers with children, because there are almost thirty slides of different heights, waterfalls, a magnificent white-sand beach and an amazingly beautiful man-made river Mai Tai.

The hotel restaurant operates in a buffet format and is famous for its delicious international dishes and original cooking shows. The pool bar is invited to order cocktails and snacks, see weekly entertainment programs
Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands, is rife with tenners. Okay, maybe not, but there are some other slightly more factual things that may surprise you about the epic island based around the mighty Pico del Teide volcano.

1. Tenerife is home to the second-largest carnival in the world
Held every February, the Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is a multi-day extravaganza full of all sorts of madness. The Carnival Queen competition is a particular highlight – participants wear absurdly huge dresses that double as their own mobile scenery, often weighing far more than the comparatively tiny women wearing them.

2. Tenerife has the same flag as Scotland
It also has the same patron saint, Saint Andrew. That’s just about where the similarities end though. If you’re a flag purist, you may point out that the two flags are actually very slightly different shades of blue, but then you’d bore everyone and would have no friends.
Did you know that Tenerife’s flag is the same as that of Scotland’s? #tenerifefact #IGTM15 pic.twitter.com/sBzhJgvDBm

3. The world’s largest dragon tree is in Tenerife
Dragon trees, found throughout the Canary Islands and in only a handful of other places, are so called because they seep a red resin when you cut into their leaves or bark. The legend goes that they took root on Earth after Atlas slayed Ladon, the dragon guarding the Garden of Hesperides.
The biggest dragon tree is in Icod de los Vinos and has the dramatic name The Thousand-Year-Old Dragon, but nobody really knows how old it is. Conservative estimates say 200 years, while most people pluck 800 years from the ether, and a couple of really ambitious thinkers insist it’s about 3,000 years old, based on nothing whatsoever.
So could it really be older than Buddha himself? Dragon trees are technically monocots, so they’re more like massive asparagus than your standard tree. This means you can’t count the number of rings to find their age as you would in a tree with a normal trunk. When it comes to dragon trees, age investigators have to count how many branches they have, count all the times these branches split to form new ones, do some very vague maths on top of this, then eventually shrug their shoulders and give up.

4. Tenerife is a UFO hotspot
It may sound a bit odd, but people often claim to see flying saucers and the like around Tenerife. Popular sighting areas include Granadilla, Montana Roja and Tejita beach. In Punta del Hildago, people have even reported seeing the things land and beings getting out to stretch their legs. One theory is that the stark lava-tinged landscape around Mount Teide somehow affects people’s brains due to the way it looks like a distant planet, making otherwise sensible humans hallucinate. Or maybe aliens exist and they just really like Tenerife – who doesn’t, after all?

5. Their version of Spanish sounds different
The type of Spanish spoken in Tenerife, Canarian Spanish, doesn’t have that Z sound that the language does elsewhere. You’d think this would make it much easier to use, but then that just means previously different-sounding words now sound the same, often confusing people.
In addition, their V’s can sometimes sound more like B’s, and their X’s more like H’s. They also don’t bother with “de” a lot of the time, the Spanish word for “of”.

6. Admiral Nelson lost his right arm in Tenerife
Admiral Nelson tried to invade Tenerife in July of 1797, mainly because that’s the sort of thing the British Empire was into at the time. Unfortunately for him, the failed attempt ended with him losing his right arm, famously preparing his appearance for hundreds of years of easy parody. The Spanish forces let Nelson and his fleet leave safely once the battle was over and even fed them all. As a way of thanks, Nelson offered them one cask of beer and a single cheese. That rather crummy gift is perhaps why the museum in Plaza de Espana in Santa Cruz de Tenerife has proudly displayed “The Tiger”, the canon that was purported to have maimed the famous admiral.

7. Tenerife is home to one of the world’s largest lava tubes
The Cave of the Wind in Icod de Los Vinos was formed by Teide’s volcanic activity around 27,000 years ago and has been making people say “Whoa…” ever since. The 17-kilometre complex of tunnels makes you feel like some sort of a giant worm who has been slithering underneath Tenerife. Elsewhere, the island is covered in all sorts of otherworldly lava formations too, making it awesome for walking around and pretending you’re in Total Recall (original version, obviously).

8. Tenerife loves massive carpets
The celebration of Corpus Christi, held on the sixtieth day after Easter, is a national holiday in Tenerife. Rather than preoccupying themselves too much with the body of Christ, as the name might imply. The inhabitants of Tenerife use the holiday to construct huge eye-popping carpets instead, most notably in the town of La Orotava. Are they actually carpets though? Well, most are in fact made from thousands of flowers, so not only do they look fluffy, but they smell lovely too.

9. Several stone pyramids were built in the 19th century, but nobody knows why
That’s not even that long ago, c’mon! Several theories abound about the Pyramids of Guimar, the most likely being that they were used for some sort of agricultural process, but there’s no actual proof. The situation’s amusing when you realise there are other pyramids in the world that are thousands of years old and we know what they were for – contacting aliens on Sirius, obviously. Perhaps the pyramids in Tenerife were built by those pesky aliens that people keep seeing. There are also some weird stone houses in Teide National Park, but the reasons for those are well documented: a failed attempt by Germans at building a sanatorium in the early 20th century. The funny thing is, nobody’s entirely sure who owns these buildings now, so Tenerife authorities have decided to leave them be in case an owner suddenly turns up and complains.

10. Tenerife is one of the best stargazing destinations in the world
Tenerife is so ideal when it comes to looking up at the constellations that they’ve passed laws to stop too many flights crossing the island and spoiling the fun. The Starmus Festival is held every year to celebrate all the stargazing, with science-world celebs like Stephen Hawking and Neil Armstrong coming along to give talks. Other than the festival and the naturally beautiful skies, you can visit Teide Observatory from April to December to get an even closer look at the heavens.

Wonderful stay in Tenerife for 10 nights at the lowest prices! Don’t miss out on this great offer!
Tenerife Island (Spain, Canary Islands) is the largest and most popular among tourists among the Canary archipelago. It is known for its black and white sand beaches, the Teide volcano, the highest point in Spain, for its picturesque landscapes, as well as for its many entertainments and just a comfortable stay, because everything and even more is done here for tourists.
1. Migrating Capitals
The Canary Islands, which are autonomous, have 2 official capitals: Santa Cruz (in Tenerife) and Las Palmas (in Gran Canaria)
Parliament always sits in Santa Cruz, and the government moves to 2 capitals every year. It is quite normal for the prime minister to have an office on one island and the vice-chairman on another. In addition, ministries migrate between four cities (on 4 islands).
2. La Cueva del Viento
La Cueva del Viento is the largest volcanic cave in Europe, over 18 kilometers long. It is a pipe through which lava flowed. It is one of the 10 long lava caves in the world and has a three-level gallery system underground. Access here to preserve the ecosystem is limited to four excursions per day.
3. Eternal spring on the island.
Here it is, thanks to its special location: the African heat is softened by the trade winds and the cold Canary Current. There are no seasons on this island. The average air temperature is 23 degrees, and the ocean water – 18 – 20 degrees Celsius. Both tourists and locals rest here all year round.
4. Teide National Park Teide National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the second most visited park in the world.
Teide, in addition to everything else, is also the third highest volcano in the world, if measured from the base at the bottom of the sea. Everyone who comes to the islands wants to visit this amazing place, because the unique nature and such majesty of a natural attraction really fascinates.
5. There are no lakes or rivers on this island at all.
Tenerife is washed by sea water from all sides, there are no rivers or lakes. Fresh water on the island is extracted only from underground sources. It is for these purposes that galleries were created in the mountains to collect fresh water, which is then lifted up and used for cooking and drinking. For technical needs, desalinated ocean water from the Atlantic is used.
Holidays on the magical island of Tenerife will get you closer to its nature and features, a truly wonderful beach holiday will delight you with its comfort

earthquake in the Canaries
Earthquakes have been occurring in the Canary Islands for several months, and a powerful earthquake and volcanic eruption are expected. El Hierro, the smallest island in the Canary archipelago, is subject to earthquakes from 1 to 3 points, the number of which, until recently, was close to 9000.
El Hierro Island (Hierro) is an island of volcanic origin, located in the very west of the Canary archipelago and the smallest in size of all the Canary Islands. In July 2011, when tremors began on the island, the director of the National Geographic Institute (IGN) in the Canary Islands, José Blanco, warned that a strong earthquake and volcanic eruption were expected on the island of Hierro in the coming days, weeks or months. The last time, on Hierro, an earthquake occurred at 1973, lasted more than a month and covered almost the entire island with lava. According to experts, now everything indicates a powerful movement of magma, rapidly approaching the surface of the Earth. Since the end of September – beginning of October, the area was assigned a “yellow” level of danger. This does not mean that an earthquake will definitely occur, but the 10,000 people who live on the island must be prepared for a sudden evacuation. The expected earthquake, most likely, should be accompanied by a powerful eruption of one of the volcanoes called Taburiente.
How dangerous are earthquakes in the Canary Islands?
Later, by mid-October, the island was assigned a “red” level of danger, which remained until the end of October. Juan Manuel Santana, Director General for Security and Emergency Situations of the Government of the Canary Islands, confirmed at that time that the recommended measures for the population remain – evacuation and restrictions on movement in dangerous areas. Part of the roads and tunnels are blocked for safety reasons.
Off the coast of Hierro has had two underwater volcanic eruptions. One was recorded by seismologists at a depth of 750 m and at a distance of 4 km from the coast, the other at a distance of 2.4 km from the coast. The eruption became known after two green spots surfaced on the surface of the ocean, the smell of sulfur and dead fish.
Eruptions and earthquakes in the form of weak and strong shocks of different activity and frequency continue to this day. The other day in the bay of El Golfo, 700 meters from the beach, according to IGN, there was an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.3. The depth was safe, 22 km. The danger to the inhabitants of the island remained.
According to Radio Television Canaria. the situation in El Hierro is gradually returning to normal despite the ongoing tremors, closed areas are gradually opening up and the island is returning to normal life. But it is still forbidden to swim and eat fish from certain sea areas. Evacuated residents can return to their homes.
More than 270 earthquakes were recorded in just 10 days in the Canary Islands (Spain), which increased fears of an impending volcanic eruption.
Tenerife earthquake
Tremors hit Tenerife and Gran Canaria, where there is a huge underwater fault between the two islands. The National Geographic Institute of Spain said that the largest recent earthquake reached a magnitude of 3.2 just 35 km from Puerto de la Luz in Gran Canaria.
Teide Volcano in Tenerife is visited by 3 million visitors every year. The top of the volcano with a height of 3718 meters is the highest point in Spain and the highest point above sea level on the islands of the Atlantic. The last eruption occurred on November 18, 1909 years.
Emilio Carreño of Spain’s National Geographic Institute says that most of the earthquakes recorded in the last few days were of tectonic origin and are not usually accompanied by volcanism.
100-600 earthquakes are recorded in the Canary Islands per month, the regions of Hodar and Jaén are especially seismically active, where 400-500 tremors occur per day.
Information from travelinlife: It is believed that the Canary Island of La Palma, which is also prone to tremors, is in even greater danger. The fact is that, according to experts, in the event of a very strong earthquake and volcanic eruption, there is a danger of the island splitting along the fault of the tectonic plate, located exactly along the mountain range.

Things to do in Tenerife
One of the most beloved destinations the world over, Tenerife is waiting to be explored. Our villas to rent in Tenerife will take you closer than ever to all the marvels hosted by this unforgettable Canary Island, from national parks and hiking trails to beautiful beaches and the vibrant night scene. All this along with year-round sunshine makes a villa holiday in Tenerife an experience like no other.
Discover some of the things to do in Tenerife and the best places to visit.
Beaches in Tenerife
Holidaymakers flock to Tenerife’s pristine coastline each year and for good reason! Our Tenerife villas are located to the south and west of this stunning volcanic island where long stretches of golden sand beaches are accompanied by a variety of amenities and water sports. For something a little unorthodox, visit the volcanic black sands on Playa de la Arena’s beach which is one of the best and cleanest around.
Nightlife in Tenerife
Take your pick from sophisticated evenings and animated nights out in some of Tenerife’s most popular resorts. Enjoy late-night dining followed by a cocktail or two in the chic resort of Costa Adeje or watch live bands and flamenco dancing in nearby Playa de Las Americas. The island provides so much variety when it comes to its nightlife, which includes traditional Canarian customs, that a villa holiday in Tenerife won’t be complete without a deep dive into all it has to offer after dusk.
Food and Drink in Tenerife
Local markets take place on a weekly basis in many of Tenerife’s towns and villages, where you can stock up and fresh vegetables, meat and fish for you to cook a family feast at your Tenerife villa. You can sample traditional Spanish food such as paella, tapas and fresh seafood at most restaurants, and even try some of the local Canarian dishes such as Mojo Sauce and Papas Arugadas.
History and Culture in Tenerife
Tenerife really is an island of two halves, with the majority of the tourist resorts resting on the south and eastern coastlines. Although many adore Tenerife’s golden sands, the island’s inner scenery is no less impressive, which is dominated by Mount Teide – the highest point in all of Spain. To soak up the history and culture during your Tenerife villa holiday, we recommend a visit to the island’s capital Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the north, with historic buildings and winding Old Town streets.

METAR Reports
Airport weather stations throughout the world routinely issue METAR weather reports . Such reports are used by pilots, air traffic controllers, meteorologists, climatologists, and other researchers. They are published via radio transmission and on the internet. We have been collecting and archiving published METAR reports since 2011, and have found third-party sources for archived reports from years prior to that.
ISD Reports
The Integrated Surface Database (ISD), maintained and published by NOAA’s National Center for Environmental Information , consists of hourly and synoptic weather reports from a variety of sources. We use ISD data to complement and backfill for our METAR archive.
Other Data
The sources for the averages shown in the daily temperature chart are discussed in greater detail on this station’s Averages Report.
All data relating to the Sun’s position (e.g., sunrise and sunset) are computed using astronomical formulas from the book, Astronomical Algorithms 2nd Edition , by Jean Meeus.
Names, locations, and time zones of places and some airports come from the GeoNames Geographical Database .
Time zones for airports and weather stations are provided by AskGeo.com .
The information on this site is provided as is, without any assurances as to its accuracy or suitability for any purpose. Weather data is prone to errors, outages, and other defects. We assume no responsibility for any decisions made on the basis of the content presented on this site.
We draw particular cautious attention to our reliance on the MERRA-2 model-based reconstructions for a number of important data series. While having the tremendous advantages of temporal and spatial completeness, these reconstructions: (1) are based on computer models that may have model-based errors, (2) are coarsely sampled on a 50 km grid and are therefore unable to reconstruct the local variations of many microclimates, and (3) have particular difficulty with the weather in some coastal areas, especially small islands.
We further caution that our travel scores are only as good as the data that underpin them, that weather conditions at any given location and time are unpredictable and variable, and that the definition of the scores reflects a particular set of preferences that may not agree with those of any particular reader.

In addition to the traditional fireworks and floral bouquets, nearly 300 crosses are adorned throughout the municipality and especially the more than 80 that are concentrated in just a few streets in the centre of La Cruz Santa, all of them places with special roots of the festive tradition of the Crosses and Fireworks of May on the 2nd and 3rd, which hold the title of Festival of National Tourist Interest”, recalled mayor, Adolfo González.
The Feria de Artesanía (Craft Fair) on 14 and 15 May in the Avenida de Los Remedios, Los Realejos; concerts, sporting events and an exhibition, among other activities, complete the extensive festive program.

It will take place after the solemn Eucharist and, to close the night, the first verbena (open-air dance) will be held in Arona since 2020 with the orchestras Sensación Gomera and Los Ideales in the town square.
On the big day of the Fiestas de Fátima, on May 15, starting at 12:30 p.m., the Romería de Fátima returns, with its traditional route to La Centinela, where the floral offering and blessing to the municipality and its inhabitants will be made. And after the pilgrimage comes the Great Dance of the Fátima Festivities, with orchestra Wamampy and the Los Ideales group.
