Rubicón Diving es el centro de buceo líder en Lanzarote. Disponemos de un total de tres centros de buceo; dos en Playa Blanca y un centro de buceo en Puerto Calero. Una flota de cuatro barcos que nos permite realizar la gran mayoría de inmersiones desde barco, así como la posibilidad de ofrecer la mayor variedad de inmersiones, evitando largos trayectos tanto a pie como en coche, optimizando así la comodidad. Equiparse, sentarse en el barco, y saltar al agua. Más sencillo, imposible.
Rubicón Diving es un centro oficial Mares, lo que implica que todo nuestro equipo de buceo está en perfecta manutención y regularmente renovado, gracias a nuestro proveedor oficial y al servicio técnico del que disponemos en nuestro propio centro.
Nuestra moderna sala de compresores dispone de un compresor Bauer, junto a una membrana de Nitrox, y un sistema de control de la calidad del aire, que garantiza que nuestros buceadores respiran aire y Nitrox puro y limpio, de alta calidad.

Sie kommunizieren in deutsch , englisch, französisch, libanesich und natürlich spanisch . Man kann Kurse dort machen sowie für das Sporttauchen und das technische Tauchen . Auch dieses Jahr ist die Basis als Beste in ganz Spanien gekrönt worden von SSI . Wir sagen ganz Groß DANKE und kommen im September wieder .

Auf Lanzarote gibt es sehr schöne Tauchplätze, mehr als die “Hauptattraktion” (nämlich das Museo Atlantico) hat uns die Punta Berrugo gefallen, vor allem wegen der Begegnung mit Engelshaien, Muränen und Rochen.

Chris, the owner, welcomed us with a big smile and answered all our questions. We are two PADI instructors who came to this place for some fun diving and to do an TDI Tec55 course.
Let’s start with the course: very professional. Even though I had done a Tec50 before in cold water, I learned a lot in this course. The instructor always considered the level of the divers, the better we became, the more demanding he was. Important stuff first, details later, but they are important, too and he did not neglect them.
I learned a lot that I will be using in cold water diving, too.
The fun dives were great, too. Amazingly flexible, we did not have to dive with beginners most of the time and could really enjoy the dives, take nice pictures etc.
The staff is very helpful, all of them: instructors, captains, divemasters, all of them lovely people and very professional

Especialmente gracias a Jurgen quien fue mi instructor de buceo para sacarme el certificado open waters y a Dimas y Manex, con los que hice el resto de inmersiones, son un 10 como personas y profesionales. Hacen que el buceo sea genial y te ayudan en todo lo que necesites.

Great atmosphere, super instructors, plenty of fish in the sea. And the underwater museum was one of the main highlights. We were taken care of really well. And it’s always great to be surrounded by people who love what they do and work to make your time out diving as rewarding as possible. Will be definitely back when back to this beautiful island.

Discovering the unique beaches along the many kilometers of coastline of the Dominican Republic, you will soon realize that the underwater world of this country, which is protected by the status of a national park, is no less charming.
Coral reefs, caves, wrecks of galleons and other ships, as well as colorful marine life await you. Try 40-meter vertical dives near Catalina and Saona Islands, spot turtles and flying rays off the remote Playa Frontón in Las Galeras, or snorkel among the colorful fish off Cayo Arena. Certified by the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), dive and snorkel stores located in the south, east and north of the country will allow you to discover the stunning underwater world of the Dominican Republic.
Although you can dive at any time of the year, the best time for diving is from June to September, when the waters are calm and offer maximum visibility, ie. the most favorable conditions for diving. The water temperature in the sea fluctuates between 24°C and 29°C all year round, so diving can be practiced even in the middle of “winter”, when the air temperature is 25°C.

A regional favorite, Airport Wall is considered one of the best and most beautiful dive spots in the Dominican Republic. This is one of the most densely populated areas with corals and other marine life, with peaks and tunnels, which starts at a depth of 10 meters and goes down to almost 30 meters.

Dive spot for all skill levels. It starts from a shallower section of the reef at a depth of 12 meters, and then passes through a fault formed by the walls of the canyon. Here you can find Cuban yellowtails, snow crabs, anemones, nudibranch clams, toad fish and flamingo tongue clams.

El Acuario
Located off the coast of Punta Cana, the Aquarium reaches a depth of five to seven meters and is great for beginners. Here you can find spotted moray, long-spined urchin fish, yellow-striped ronka and parrot fish.

Enriquillo RM-22 lies at a depth of 18 meters off the coast of Playa Blanca and is suitable only for experienced divers. It is home to a variety of underwater species, including horse mackerel, sea bream, yellowtail snappers and carey turtles.

Five large coral rocks scattered over an area of 100 sq. meters, form an ideal dive spot for beginners. The reef starts at a depth of about five meters, and at its deepest point reaches a depth of almost 24 meters.

Experienced divers will find here a small wall covered with soft coral that starts at a depth of 16 meters and goes down to 32 meters. Many underwater inhabitants live here, including moray eels, flute fish, lionfish, crabs and octopuses.

If you are planning to visit Tenerife, a visit to this national park is a must. It earns the distinction of being the highest national park in the island (it is also the highest mountain in Spain, with a height of 3,718 meters). It was declared a national park in 1954 but wasn’t recognized by UNESCO until 2007. The annual average tourist visits for this national park is around 4 million!
Teide is of global importance in providing evidence of the geological processes that underpin the evolution of oceanic islands.
This is the only native mammal species found in the park. Over the years though, other mammals were introduced into the park, such as the rabbit, house mouse, mouflon, Algerian hedgehog, and the feral cat.

After a while it was felt that this new silverback, called Yaounde, was probably better suited as a potential mate for Bianka, and so permission was obtained to introduce the two animals. Bondo was placed in an adjoining area, but maintained contact by auditory and visual means. This new pairing seemed to work, and although Bianka was not completely at ease initially, she soon became accustomed to Yaounde.
He had had a slight cold, but had appeared fine up until 17:00 hrs, when his keeper failed to get a response from him. The veterinarian at Loro Parque attended to him and administered drugs, but sadly he died at about 19:00 hrs. The cause of death was bilateral bronchopneumonia and septic shock. It transpired that Bondo had been suffering from a long-term bacterial infection which had colonised the respiratory epithelium. When he then suffered a viral bronchitis infection, the virus caused lesions in the epithelium, which were then invaded by the bacteria of the previous infection. This led to an extremely rapid spread of bacteria through the bloodstream and resulted in septicaemia, with cardiovascular effects, causing a rapid state of endotoxics hock.
Initially Schorsch came to us on a temporary basis, as the ape house at Nürnberg was being renovated. However, it was felt that he might be suitable for the bachelor project, and we were asked to keep him.
He is a very sociable animal, and very confident as well, but he did not like being separated from his new companions. He showed signs of stress and refused to eat, so after a day or two we decided to leave all three together, including night-times. This resulted in a much more relaxed and stress-free situation.
Three days later it was the turn of Ivo to come into the group. He is without doubt the most intelligent gorilla at Loro Parque, and is also quite energetic and boisterous. Despite these last two characteristics he behaved well, and we were able to keep all five together all day.
The terraces were separated by a large rock wall. All the gorillas had previously been given access to the terraces on an individual basis. Schorsch was the only one to have problems with this.

There are some restaurants and cafes around Charco san Gines, or you can walk on the palm tree promenade, that will take you towards Castillo de San Gabriel. The area of Charco San Gines is a popular lunch spot when visiting Arrecife, with lots of places that serve fresh fish or paella.
